Gabby’s Bar

Gabby’s is the place to be! The bartenders make you feel like family and anyone is welcomed there. One big happy family is what it’s like. When all of us regulars are there I always play the Cheers theme song because the place reminds me of Cheers so much.
There patio is second to none and the live music in the summer on the patio is something you must experience.
If you’re looking for a good drink at a great price, look no further. You definitely get your money’s worth at Gabbys.
The fun and friendly atmosphere makes this place a diamond in the rough.

Great neighborhood bar in, what is otherwise, a shoddy area (sans the Circle Drive Thru… A++!), Tamarack Circle.
An unassuming exterior masks a very Cheers-​esque atmosphere with regulars and bartenders who know everybodies name.
The patio is transcendent! If this patio was located on campus or in Dublin, Powell, etc, this joint would be boomin! Best patio Ive seen amongst Cbus bars… plus tons of live, local music during the summer.
Attached to a Donatos, they serve pizzas and subs as opposed to stereotypically underwhelming bar food. The interior needs an overhaul and a dusting or two, but it has ample space and tons of potential. The music typically sucks, and the place is rarely busy (sans band nights), but with an expanding tap selection, friendly bartenders, and epic patio, Gabbys is worth a peek if youre in the Northland area and in need of a solid neighborhood bar that blocks out some of the uglier aspects of town

This bar is full of the locals from the Forest Park East area and I can tell you its full of decent fun. The bar has a limited selection of beer and the food you can order from Donatos Pizza next door. The crowd was watching the OSU VS MICHIGAN basketball game and playing beer pong too. The ages were between 21 to 70 in the place and every racial group thensome. Onething I did like is the patio it would be good for summertime fun. The bad thing is that it seemed like every pissed off guy kept getting the popcorn out the machine and alot of other kept playing the Ohio lottery machines located in the bar. I will say dont go out your way to go to Gabby’s but if you want a change of pace in Columbus go give it a try.
