Terrible. The server was very ‘odd’. First went in and asked me if I wanted a booth or table. I chose booth. There’s only like 4 customers in the restaurant and plenty of room/seats and she sits me directly behind people.(This happens at most restaurants). But Here’s where the weirdness begins. I ordered some pasta and sirloin and she recommends me to get the other pasta with 4 cheese for a 2 dollar hike, so I give in. I told her I didn’t want the chicken tenders and she says ok then asks me how do I want my sirloin cooked and I said well done. So she repeats what I ordered and says«sirloin well done correct?» I said yes. Then she gathers the menus off the table and says it again«sirloin well done correct?» I’m like um yea. So she comes out with the food and I had chicken tenders in the pasta and I told her politely I didn’t want the tenders. I said I wanted the other chicken and smiled at her.(The whole time being served she doesn’t seem happy or nice but she didn’t have an attitude either). So I waited for the new pasta to come out and as I waited she walked by my table without looking or stopping and whispering to me «it will be out in a moment»… uh wierd, and once again the pasta had Chicken tenders. I’m like ok whatever I’ll just eat it wtf. As I’m eating, there’s like a homeless strange guy standing at the window, pointing inside at people as if he was counting them and he walks away. 3 mins later he’s back at the window staring at people. One of the servers asked me «is he staring at you?» I said«yes» and he says«ok I’m calling the cops he’s freaking me out». So I give my card to the previous server and she drops my card but didn’t notice so I pointed at it and she picks it up and says«You didn’t have to point, I was going to pick it up». In my head I’m like«um no the hell you wasn’t retard». So as I’m gathering my things the homeless guy enters and everyone looks at him as if he was a terrorist. The server seats him and he was sitting there having a full blown conversation… WITHHIMSELF!!! I got the hell out of there so damn quick you would’ve thought Jesse owens returned from the dead. The most akward, weirdest, tense, crappiest service I’ve ever received from a restaurant. Avoid!

This is in my neighborhood, so I will most likely be back, but otherwise wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. The good — the 2 entrée for $ 20 and the $ 3 drink special in the Brewtus glass. The spinach artichoke dip was great — asian salad was so-so, and my husband liked the burger. I love the sweet potato fries. The bad — the sticky tables and menus and slow service. We waited a long time for our food, but really enjoyed the game console on the table to keep our hunger and minds at ease.

I had lunch with my accountant who only likes franchise restaurants, hence we ended up at Applebee’s. After reviewing the menu, i settled on the 4 cheese bacon grilled cheese special. I requested no bacon and only one cheese. The server came back and said i could have that but only on the child’s menu and it would cost a whopping $.99. My accountant smiled because it was his turn to pick up the check. By the way it was a damn tasty grilled cheese.

Boy was i surprised. We walked in on a lazy Wednesday night and were greeted by cheery people. That was plus number 1. Our server, plus number 2, was eager to serve; brought our drinks, advised us on our questions, and took our order. 2 for 20 was a hit with the other couple. Wife had Asian chicken salad. Big hit. I had a scrumptious mushroom burger with fresh fries. Very good. Plus number three. Boy was i surprised. I wonder if they do this at their other locations. Kudos to Clintonville location.

Not impressed with this location. We were sat immediately. Waitress greeted us right away, took or order and then disappeared. The appetizer and salad came out about 20min later, waitress still MIA. Well missing in action is a loose term. She was there, just not checking on us. Then not even 2min later someone else brought our meals out and stated how it looks like we just got our appetizer«Sorry we didn’t know» was what they said. Not their fault, they were not our server. Our server didn’t ask how thing were when she saw them delivering any of our food. When she did come by later, she asked did everything look ok, without looking at us. Overall, poor service. I won’t even get in to her leaving the check without asking if my husband wanted another beverage or if we wanted dessert, which we did. I’m Disappointed, as I typically love Applebee’s. It was 8:30 pm and they were not packed, happy hour or low staff wasn’t an excuse this time. We will be locating another chain to visit if we get a craving for Applebee’s in the future.

Excellent service. Great waitor, friendly management. Enjoyed my meal. Waitress made sure we had what we needed, when we needed it. She was friendly, and helped us get what we needed.

We sat at the bar recently for dinner on a Sunday night. There were 2 other parties also sitting at the bar. We got our menus and asked for water to drink. Once we had our menus and had decided what we wanted, we were still waiting for water. And waiting. And waiting. The whole time we’re at the bar, we’re watching the bartender ignore us and the other 2 couples while he did something that looked like inventory. He wouldn’t even look up. Finally, he takes our order and brings us water. The food was pretty good but I got the mac and cheese with honey chicken and it wasn’t nearly as good as the last time I got it. My boyfriend’s burger was good, but his fries were absolutely doused in something that looked and tasted like paprika. It was everywhere! The bartender kept audibly sighing. Clearly, this was not his night. The dinner for both of us came out around $ 24, which really isn’t bad. That probably bumps the review up to 3 stars. We might be back, but I doubt we’d sit at the bar again. A little disappointing compared to our last experience here.

We had a group of 15ish with one server which was disappointing. The service was very slow. Our server, I’m sorry I can’t remember his name, although nice and all… he seemed very overwhelmed. I had french onion soup and a wedge salad. Both were fine, the wedge came with nice big pieces of bacon… mmm yummy bacon! The drinks are overpriced…$ 6 for a draft beer! Not in a rush to go back…
