Positives: The feijoada($ 8) was very good and reasonably priced. The meat and beans were seasoned well. I recommend combining the feijoada, rice and greens as they compliment each other. I love greens, but some people might find them to be a little bitter if eaten on their own. The orange slices that came with the feijoada were a nice touch. The pastels were also good. My wife is Brazilian and she gave them both her stamp of approval as well. Just of note, I believe they maintain a limited menu that they modify from time to time. Negatives: The pork rinds that come with the feijoada were too hard for me, so I skipped them. Mind you, that was sometimes the case for me in Brazil as well. I’m going to see if I can get a double helping of the greens instead next time. I’d say the pastels($ 2 each) are priced a bit high. And the Guarana(an iconic Brazilian soft drink) was not chilled sufficiently. Conclusion: Most Brazilian restaurants are churrascarias(the all you can eat steakhouses), so it’s nice to have this tasty home-cooking style option. We’ll definitely be back. Of note, they have a Facebook page that you can use to find where they’ll be. We visited them when they were in Yellow Springs and it worked out really well. We were surprised by how lively their downtown area was. We enjoyed walking around and the kids liked the nearby playground, so it made for a nice afternoon out with the family.
