I have been taking my pants here for a about a year now and the customer service is great and the quality of their work is amazing! They were quick to measure my pants that needed hemmed and I had them the next day. I have recommended them to a couple coworkers who were also just as pleased with the work!

I had an article of clothing altered here a few days ago. The staff was not very friendly and my garment had an overwhelming smell of Chinese food when I took it home. It was so bad I had to get it dry cleaned at another place just to get the smell out.

They do not post prices on their website and apparently don’t respond to the contact form on their site.

I took a couple of expensive shirts in to get the sleeves shorten. However, 3 out of the 4 shirts came out too short. The owner was very understanding and gave me the replacement cost for those shirts. It was great dealing with a business that knows customer service and I will definitely go there again.

I have been to many tailors and dry cleaners an this is by far my favorite one. Their tailors are very patient and will always check and double check to make sure they understand what you want. Most of my dress shirts cost $ 250 and I have no problems trusting them with the alterations. I have even taken my $ 2000 suite to them to alter. In the past when I went to other tailors they would question what I want. For example, I like my pants cut shorter and tighter like on GQ, many other places will keep telling me I shouldn’t do that because it’s uncomfortable when sitting. At the Alteration Station they know exactly what I want and knows how to pin my clothes to get the look I want. There was once where they measured my shirt wrong where the front and back was uneven. Instead of just go ahead and cutting the shirt, they called me to go back in to measure again. In the past I’ve had a tailor measure me wrong but still proceeded with the cut. As for dry cleaning, I think they do just as well as any other place and some times they’ll have specials on Groupon. Some of my shirts have snap buttons instead of the regular buttons and they never charged extra for those, unlike Swan Cleaners. I’ve also always gotten my dry cleaning and alterations back on time. I highly recommend them!

I have been here several times now(maybe 10 – 12 times). My first experience was a pair of expensive jeans that I took in to hem. They completely changed the look of the pant by putting in a different type of hem than what the original pant was(it was a 70s wide leg pant and they changed it to a narrow hem). I was very disappointed in this, but decided to give them a second chance and continued to go there(thinking maybe it was a communication barrier since some of the seamstress’ don’t speak English well). Overall, they did an OK job(no major complaints) on several items(but they were fairly expensive). I recently took a very casual jersey material dress in to them, with a very simple hem. I made the unfortunate mistake of not asking the price when I dropped it off. When I went to pick it up, they told me it would be $ 30! I couldn’t believe it — for a T-shirt dress? I complained and they took a few dollars off. I asked them why it was so expensive, and they said it «depends on the seamstress you get, they all have their own prices, and you got the best.»(and apparently the most expensive!). I asked them for a list of their prices, and they stated they have no such list(it is highly variable, apparently, and depends on many factors). Similar to the other reviewer, my recommendation would really be to avoid this place unless you go in knowing it’s going to be very expensive and are OK with that.

The first time I went in I was recommended by JCrew for an alteration to a JCrew bridesmaid dress. I believe the head-seamstress had to do the alterations because it was more involved(i.e. the chiffon dress had to be completely taken apart and put back together). It was not bad price wise and the work was really good! So I figured I would take my cotton dress in for a quick and easy hem. I don’t know who did this work because it wasn’t the head-seamstress. They sewed the lining into the hem so when I sat down the whole dress would ride up and show the lining! It was terrible. I can’t wear the dress anymore. I guess you should just be super specific about what you want done. I didn’t know to say«don’t sew the lining into the hem,» but I know that now.

I had a very simple dress — strapless, back zip, chiffon with a lining I took to have altered. I needed about an inch taken in and an inch hemmed off the bottom. I needed the dress 5 days later… here was my experience: I took the dress in, tried it on… the lady(very nice) started to pin the dress, took her about 2 minutes. When I was finished I waited in line — the clerk asked me if I’d like to pay today or upon pick up next week. I told her I’d like to go ahead and pay now and see what the cost would be. She told me the dress would be $ 150.00 to hem. HAHAHA! I seriously laughed. I paid $ 58.00 for the dress and there is NO way I’d pay three times that to have it hemmed. I honestly asked her, «Are you was serious?» … She responded saying, «well yes, there is a rush on the service and two different types of alterations.»(A rush FORNEXTWEEKSERVICE???)I politely asked for my dress back and told her, «I’m sorry, I think this a ridiculous price and I will be taking the dress elsewhere.» As I start to exit the store, she says, «Ma’am, you owe us $ 10 for the fitting.» — AREYOUSERIOUS? I told her there was no way I would pay $ 10 and walked out. I honestly felt like I was intentionally ripped off. ****In the past hour, I took the dress to personal tailor and will be picking it up tomorrow for $ 25.00. I curiously asked my new seamstress the time it would take to complete the job and she said… usually about 45 min or less. Food for thought. ****

We’ve been very pleased with the quality of the service we’ve received here. The first task we took in was a doozy: getting heavy ink stains out of several dress shirts. They did an admirable job and rescued 4 of 5 of the shirts. We’ve gone back since then with several alterations and repairs as well as dry cleaning. Clothes have always been ready on time and in great condition.

The Alterations Station was my first experience in getting any of my clothing altered. I brought two pairs of khakis that needed hemmed and a suit that needed hemmed and the sleeves shortened. I was greeting promptly by Max, the owner, who asked what he could do for me. I explained what I needed done and he showed me to a fitting room. Once I had changed into what needed fitted, he came in and hemmed the pants. Overall, the experience was wonderful. It’s great to see an owner who cares about what he does and wants to make sure the job is done right the first time. Highly recommended!

I had the most amazing customer service experience here! I picked up my alterations and paid without checking things out. I got home and found that my jeans were not repaired as I asked. And I paid for it. Ugh. BUTTHEN… when I called, I said I really didn’t want to drive back to Polaris(it was xmas shopping season) and just wanted my credit put back on my credit card. They said they couldn’t do that, but offered to come to my house and pick up my jeans! REALLY!!! One catch, I had to run errands that day. So they literally picked up my jeans that I had hanging from the door, fixed them, and put them back. My jeans were repaired when I got home! They have a customer for life! I had no idea customer service like this existed in today’s world. Oh, and the rest of my order was fine too. My other jeans that I dropped off to hem, look factory hemmed! I haven’t tried their dry cleaning services, they are a bit far away for that, but I will try them if I am out there again.
