As the mother of the bride I purchased my dress here. I would so highly recommend Gabrielle and all of the staff here. Gabrielle has unlimited expertise and knowledge on fashion and couture. She truly provides an amazing experience for any woman who walks through her door and makes you feel so beautiful in every way. She knows exactly what suits both in color and style… I was so impressed with her attention to every detail and her efforts helping me also with my accessories to match my dress… Earrings, necklace and purse… All perfectly matched. My dress had to altered and the end product fitted like a glove…
My daughters wedding dress needed alteration also and Gabrielle came in early to her store and stayed late to facilitate appointments…
Gabrielle is not just a sales lady… Her heart is truly in making each woman feel and look their best… She is one of a kind and she knows her business so well…

Gabriele is the best. She did the alterations for my wedding dress I could not have been happier with how detail oriented she was and the amount of time she dedicated to making everything perfect. I know she worked some very late nights to make sure everything was just right. She was affordable and is a master in her craft. Can’t say enough nice things about my experience!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Gabriele! My dress is PERFECT! She pays such close attention to detail and really makes your dress unique and personalized for you! Hands down the best in Columbus! And the icing on the cake? The dresses are so AFFORDABLE! If you’re looking for a wedding or special occasion dress, I 100% recommend making an appointment!

This is a totally different experience than what you see on SYTTD or at any large dress shop. Gabriele– and it’s ALL Gabriele– has been designing, sewing, and selling dresses forever and knows what she’s doing. Her selection isn’t huge but the dresses are beautiful and her expertise is what makes the experience. We thought she was a bit intense at first, but she bent over backward to get my friend the perfect dress– something she loved and something that was the most flattering and beautiful for HER. The dress not only is gorgeous but Gabriele does all the altering and work herself to make it last a lifetime. She loved having the whole group of bridesmaids and regaled us the whole time with stories of years of experience. We moved away from Columbus and keep coming back just for her. A personal, knowledgeable touch!

I rarely write reviews but absolutely had to tell everyone about this amazing place I discovered yesterday.
I had been so nervous about going out to find my wedding dress because I thought it would take forever. Thankfully, my best friend came from out-​of-​state and had done her research because she was only here for the weekend. She saw the reviews for Gabriele’s Bridal Salon and that she had a sale so we stopped there first. We did not have an appointment. My friend and I were greeted immediately and told to browse some of the dresses on sale. They gave us a few minutes and then Gabriele and her assistant Kelsey appeared and helped us pick out some choices based on what I thought I liked and what they thought would be flattering for my full figure. Kelsey helped calm my anxiety while she was helping me try on gowns. She was amazing! There was only one other bride there but I was treated like I was the only one. Believe it or not, the second dress I tried on was *the dress*. I couldn’t believe it! I wanted to make sure that I did not precipitate myself to buy something so quickly so I went to an appointment I had at another bridal salon and had the worst experience ever. I knew I had to go back to Gabriele.
I called the store because they were 30 min from their closing time to see if I could go order the dress and they said to come in. Gabriele herself took the time to lace up my dress and was kind enough to teach my best friend how to do it so she could do it on my wedding day. When I asked to see a veil, she offered to let me try on a custom semi-​cathedral veil she had made. Once she put it on, my mother, best friend and I started crying. Her designs are so beautiful! Have I mentioned that she is a designer herself with years of experience in bridal couture and formal gowns? She knows exactly what will fit you and will quickly decipher what your dream gown should look like. Her store carries european designers that are not seen in other bridal salons. She will also help you choose the right accessories for your dress so they do not overpower the dress, she has some antique pieces that she rents out to brides. They are gorgeous!
Gabriele also took the time to give me advice for the months to come before the wedding, including some personal experiences. You can tell she loves what she does. She stayed for 2 hours with us, when she was supposed to close at 6 pm.
I cannot say enough good things about Gabriele and her team. She gave me that magical moment I thought was cliché and would never have while looking for my wedding dress. You will have the kind of experience here that you will never find at a chain store. If you are thinking of buying a wedding dress, please don’t hesitate to come here. I could not be happier with my experience!

They refused to alter my dress with a simple bussel JUST because I bought my wedding dress at Wendy’s bridal. I feel a bit insulted that my dress choice wasn’t up to their standards– they didn’t even see the dress! Just outwardly rejected helping me because of where I bought it. I’ve never heard of such an outlandish policy. I won’t recommend them to people I know because of such a horrible way of doing business, or not doing business as the case may be.

In searching for my dream wedding gown I probably went to about a dozen places. Seriously. I called up Gabriele’s because they were the only ones in the area that carried the «Essense of Australia» line. I was luckily able to get in for an appointment that same day. The shop doesn’t look like much when you first see it, but it is full of gorgeous gowns. I was able to try on a TON of dress with no time limit, unlike most other places I went. I don’t think I tried on a dress there that I didn’t like. Gabriele even stayed about two hours past her store’s closing time for me.
Going to a few other shops after Gabriele’s, I kept thinking about the dress I loved there, so I went back and got it. It was so classy and unique — like nothing I had seen in any other stores. Gabriele measured me perfectly for the custom-​fit dress, so no alterations were needed. She also provided with me on advice on color, accessories, care instructions — you name it. Gabriele really knows her stuff. Pamela, her assistant, was also great. They are both super nice and friendly and just want you to have the wedding of your dreams.
I think I received my dress in three months. I even got my bridesmaid dresses there, which arrived ahead of schedule.
I know this shop isn’t mentioned very often when people name bridal gown stores in Columbus, but if you’re getting married you MUST go see Gabriele. You won’t be sorry.
