Great food! Great service. Best Chicken and Dumplings I’ve had in many many years. Hubby’s Denver Omelet was over flowing with grilled goodies. New owners have cleaned it up quite a bit. A little more elbow grease and it will be 5 stars.

I want to like those place more but my biscuits and gravy were bland and although the atmosphere is charming it could use a deep cleaning and purge.

This little gem proves that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover! This diner is the total package! From the moment you walk in, service is friendly. Marie made this visit a clear winner for us! The menu headliner item is the $ 4.95 All You Can Eat sausage gravy & biscuits. They are delicious with actual sausage in the gravy!!(oddly at times I’ve had this without a speck of sausage) What makes this deal even better is you can order it as a half & half and get AYCE gravy & biscuits and pancakes! For $ 5!!! The pancakes were also delicious and the size of a dinner plate. They also offer a half size breakfast burrito that is the perfect size for breakfast with a side of their homemade American fries(complete with onions and peppers sauteed in at no extra charge!) Definitely get the green chili to top it off… deliciously spicy! Even the coffee is tasty! We are admitted diner junkies and this place did not disappoint. The 1978 décor made it funky, the service made it welcoming, the prices were easy on the wallet and the food sealed the deal! This diner is worth the trip! Now we are on our way back to grab breakfast once more before heading out of town. Enjoy!

Milt’s is dingy little diner in a not-so-clean part of town that offers all-you-can-eat biscuits and gravy or pancakes. The interior looks like it hasn’t changed since the 70’s, and maybe it hasn’t been cleaned since then either. The biscuits and gravy are so filling. The biscuits taste like premade biscuits from a can with a cheap gravy on top, but if that sounds bad, it makes for a cheap, filling, tasty meal. The pancakes are HUGE, and you can get either/or with the all-you-can-eat option or you can opt to have both biscuits and gravy and pancakes if you want. The pancakes are fluffy and the size of dinner plates, served with a generous slab of butter. Where the biscuits and gravy taste premade, the pancakes taste fresh and made from scratch. Honestly, the food isn’t anything to rave about, though that’s not to say it’s bad, either. I have such a soft spot for biscuits and gravy that the all-you-can-eat deal makes the drive to Colorado Springs worth it. If you’re in town, stop by and fill up(waaaaay up) for less than $ 5 a plate.

So I came in expecting this to be a coffee shop which it is not. It should be called Milt’s Diner. I ordered the two eggs with bacon with one biscuit and gravy and a side of home fries. My husband ordered an omelet with ham and a side of sausage. The food was edible, nothing spectacular. Probably won’t return

I was getting a new windshield installed at Colorado Springs Auto-Glass who I highly recommend, they have done my auto glass for decades and have lowest prices for non-insured work I have ever found. Anyhoo, I walked to Milt’s for breakfast while my windshield was installed. It was just a typical greasy-spoon operation, fast, friendly and quick with the coffee. As much as I liked the atmosphere, the food was just average, if that. I would eat there again if I lived in the neighborhood or needed another windshield, but would not go out of my way to eat here. Only complaint was that I couldn’t find anywhere to hang my coat – the counter seats are stools so there was no back to drape coat on and no coat rack or hanger that I could see.

The atmosphere was awesome. Very hole in the wall local atmosphere. The food on the other hand was subpar at best. The biscuits and gravey was over seasoned, pancakes were burnt, and the omelette was very greasy. The waiter was kind and helpful.

How can you go wrong with all you can eat biscuits and gravy. I mean you might as well be rolled out in a wheel barrel. The staff is on point and it’s nice to dine at a place that has not changed in 40 years. I am heading back to the springs next week and cannot wait to go dig in with Milts. AMAZING!

Little gem diner, off the two fiver? Bad song puns aside, my wife and I had an amazing biscuit and gravy breakfast here. The bad reviews for this place must have been on a real off day or they’re just downsy themselves. We tried it cause we met the owner at a bar close to our house and everybody in the place gave his place praise. We were told the place opened in 79 and it still looks like it’s 79 inside. Don’t let the décor throw you though; great food and friendly staff. We will be regulars here :)

Excellent biscuits and gravy with fast service. You can have breakfast and coffee here for about $ 5. Lot of locals/regulars eat here. Very happy we stopped in for breakfast.

One of those places you have to try only to find you won’t be returning. Overpriced, no senior menu, biscuits and gravy MEH. French toast was ok. Annoying loud conversations among the servers and cooks. Server was fine but coffee was not hot and all she did was top it off when we told her not hot. IHOP down the street has much better prices and much better food.

Do not waste your time or money on this place, service is slow and rude. Food is overcooked bland tasteless and mostly microwaved. Biscuits like they were straight out of the can, green chili sauce also tasted like it was from Canned the meat in it tasted canned was super gross. I think the reason this place has so many good reviews is there is a lot of long time older customers that go there but in my opinion fees longtime customers must have absolutely no taste buds.

I love Milt’s. Unassuming, cheap, clean, large portions of comfort food. Wait staff unfailingly friendly. Excellent coffee and the best biscuits & gravy in town.

If you like good, just-like-home-cooked food, this is the place. It’s not glamorous, and if you are a white glove type, then stay away. This is real people cooking and serving real food. The servers can get busy, but they are always gracious and extremely accommodating. The food speaks for itself. This place will become a staple for my family.

We love small dinner settings. We sat out side, didn’t get water, service was slow, food was cold and had chase the waitresses down for coffee refills. Not planing on giving milts a second chance.

Just ate at this place today, this place gets 5 stars for the biscuits and gravy… and its all you can eat… and its 4.50! If you are going to walk in with Gucci loafers, this place is not for you. Boots and a tee is more fitting attire. The new waitress was being trained but kept our glasses full! Get the Chalua hot sauce with the gravy, sounds terrible but it was great!

Simple, good and cheap. It’s nothing that’s going to knock your socks off, but you won’t leave hungry and you won’t spend very much. I had the biscuits and gravy, my mom had pancakes. The biscuits and gravy were exactly what you would expect. The pancakes were awesome.
