It’s a little cheaper than Akasaka, but not as good. My brother likes this place better to Akasaka, but pffftt what does he know :). It’s certainly worth trying, especially the stir fry. You won’t be disappointed!

As I’ve mentioned before, Jun’s on Centennial is my favorite sushi joint. However, the service is bad and the lines on Friday nights are often ½ hour plus, even with a reservation. So we headed up the street to AI Sushi, another solid choice. After waiting for 10 minutes with 10 other people without even an acknowledgement from the hostess, we gave up. Driving aimlessly toward Old Colorado City, we remembered that someone had told us that Sakura was a good choice. First star is for no lines. There were only two other tables occupied when we walked in, which may be a bad sign, but we went in anyway. I don’t think they’ve been open long, so we’ll just chalk that up to lack of publicity. The service was friendly, star two, the sushi was good, star three, and the dishes were super cute! Star four. Honestly, I only tried 4 rolls(all of which were good), so I don’t want to go overboard. It might get an upgrade someday. But seriously, let’s give some other folks a chance and leave Jun’s and AI to fend for themselves on the weekend.
