On our way to the Garden of the Gods. And stopped to have lunch. The waitress was not quite warm but the service was efficient. The manager did come to the table and say hello. We got there at 12:55pm. We got the lunch menu, regular menu and a happy hour menu. I expected the happy hour sushi rolls to be small. But I was pleasantly surprised that the rolls were generous full size rolls. They didn’t use finely chopped yellowtail to make the maki roll, instead they were small cubes, which was nice. It was spicier than most of the rolls I’ve tasted. The food was good and inexpensive.

This review is for the Dublin location. Came in for lunch at 1:50(the open sign was on). The waitress seated us and then told us they close at 2:00. I asked if we should leave and she said«no» however my wife and I felt less than welcome the entire time we were there. The sushi was actually good but we felt so unwelcomed and rushed that it was hard to enjoy the meal. We finally took the rest of our food to go and never received a thank you from the waitress. Very unprofessional and not customer friendly.

Having lived in Japan for five years, I know what Japanese food is supposed to taste like. I saw that this place had won a few awards from Independent for«Best in the Springs» so I decided to come here for a two year anniversary. I really like the décor in here and the tables next to the grills reminds me of Musashi. Prices here aren’t too bad. Lots of options to choose from! Staff here are very prompt and polite. I ended up getting the chicken yakisoba while my boyfriend got one of the steak bento boxes. Chicken was very dry and the yakisoba sauce was really weird. It tasted more like vinegar than yakisoba sauce is supposed to taste. We got one of the California rolls and everything was falling off of the rolls because the sushi was so dry. Our rolls also looked like someone was in a rush. Plum wine tasted very strange too, wasn’t sweet and tasted like it was mixed with brandy. Don’t know what the fuss is about but I don’t plan on coming back in.

Eating sushi at Jun’s is the most authentic Japanese experience I have had so far in Colorado Springs. Love to come in and get my sushi fix!

We love this place! The owner is awesome and gave us coupon to come back on our anniversary last year. The service was great. The hibachi Grill chef was amazing. Everything We ordered exceeded expectations. We were new to the Springs last year and Jun is now part of our family tradition to celebrate our anniversary.

have seen this place a million times coming in and out of my development and finally decided to give it a shot… had some friends over and ordered the Vegas roll, Cadet roll, Big E, and lion king… in addition to the beef and chicken teriyaki. each dish was amazing, the chicken teriyaki and lion king in particular stood out. the sushi rolls are enormous. very reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food, will absolutely be a return customer.

We love Jun’s! They always have such great food, they are always busy so that means that you should prepare to spend some time there(perhaps enjoying time with your dinner companions). Seems like a lot of complaints for a such a great restaurant. My husband and I had our first official date here and when we came in for our engagement the owner gave us a free bottle of wine. We are now married and visit this establish regularly. We have never had a problem with bad service, it just takes time to get our food.

I’ve always had a decent experience at Jun’s. They have good sushi rolls, nothing extraordinary, but exactly what you’d expect from a restaurant with sushi. I particularly enjoyed there hibachi table. We enjoyed Godzilla eggs while the chef cooked up our dinner. Dinner at Jun’s makes for an overall good night out.

Great décor, good service, but… don’t come here for sushi. The sushi is presented nicely and they have some good rolls, but price for portion size isn’t good and the fish quality is not great. You can get better rolls for cheaper elsewhere. Also, I seem to often get half-frozen cooked rolls all the time… yum…not. And the«gyoza» is not gyoza. They’re watery pot-stickers. Gyoza is supposed to be fried. I only come here for the MCI roll; just a massive amount of crab with salmon and delicious sauce. And it’s never served partially frozen.

I’m updating my review from 2 stars. We went back last night for a Hibachi dinner and it was a pretty good experience. Our server was busy but attentive, the Hibachi chef was friendly, and the food arrived fast and it was good. The person, I’m assuming was the manager even came up to ask how we were doing. The experience may have been different because it was the weekend, or maybe because we didn’t have that terrible server from last time — or maybe they are stepping up their game because of all the negative reviews. I hope they keep it up!

Love Jun! We always sit at the sushi bar and have great, consistent sushi and service. The fish is fresh and the rolls are yummy. Jun is usually behind the bar and will recommend rolls and sushi and chat with us. Being from California, we have had a tough time finding a good sushi place out here. I still wouldn’t say it’s the best sushi i’ve ever had, but for Colorado Springs I have no complaints. Try the yummy roll and salmon sushi, you won’t regret it!

TERRIBLESERVICE!!! They spread their waitstaff way too thin. The waitress forgot almost everything, including our daughter’s meal multiple times. We spent the whole meal reminding her what we needed. Some of the rolls were excellent, such as the Lion King Roll, but most were just average. To our waitress, apologies for the bad tip, but you had 9 other tables, so I’m sure you made up for it in volume. I simply cannot tip 20% for very bad service. To management, we will never be back.

I ate here back in December with my boyfriend and while the sushi was excellent, the service was ridiculously slow(the place was empty so no excuse), it reeked of spoiled fish(we almost walked out) and if was very pricey. Drinks were expensive too. Supposedly this is rated as one of the best places in the Springs for sushi and while I agree the food was good, I was disappointed in the ambience, the service and the prices.

Visiting the area from South Florida. So when sushi was suggested for dinner I was a little apprehensive but put my trust in the locals and was pleasantly surprised. Just to start with, eating sushi in a state that does not border the ocean much less have access to large bodies of fresh water is not something I usually do. So the suggestion of eating here took a bit of trust on my part. Upon entering we were politely greeted and seated in a matter of minutes. Drink orders were placed, specials were explained and the drinks were served timely. Are orders were taken and all are food was again served in a timely fashion. All good. My party ordered the a sushi boat, a couple rolls and a smoked mackerel dinner. All were plated very nicely and all the fish was very fresh. The sushi here was as good as any reputable sushi restaurant back home. The mackerel dinner was also enjoyed and very tasty. To sum up my visit, I would definitely return. Great service, delicious food at a fair price. It’s all good. Cheers.

After reading all of the reviews about this location I was hesitant to try it out. But given the fact that it was the only sushi place open on Easter Sunday I just had to fix my craving. Walking in, the décor was awesome. It has everything. 4 and 2 person tables, Hibachi grills and surprisingly, Japanese style seating with pillows. But don’t worry. For us «long legged folk» they have the floor cut out right under the table so you can sit without crossing your legs. I do agree that the service is probably a 2 star at best. It just seems like the girls want to talk about their personal life instead of tending to you on a regular basis. At first our service started out great, but toward the end it just fell off of a cliff. All of this with 3 other patrons in the entire building. I can definitely see how, if busy, service would fall on it’s ass. The food was actually pretty darn good. This was the first time in the Springs that I’ve seen real crab used when ordering Kani nigiri. That was such an awesome treat that I knew the rest had to be pretty darn good. The prices are above average for the springs and even more so for a landlocked state. But it’s easy to steer away from paying 18 $ for a roll. The rice was cooked to perfection and was the second best rice I’ve ever had in the Springs. All of the other sushi joints I’ve eaten at, with the exception of Sushi Ring, can’t cook their rice worth a damn. This place does it right for sure. The fish we had was fresh and had no complaints. Oh, their Miso soup is the best I’ve ever had… anywhere.
