Pretty much as you would expect. A little over priced. Service is fair. They try a little too hard to be fancy. I guess they think they can trick us into not minded the prices if it comes on a fancy plate. Beer is really good and Happy Hour prices are fair. If it wasn’t for the beer this place would certainly struggle to stay open.

Great pub environment. Good selection of beer and the food was pretty good. The service was excellent as well. They did some weird bingo game which was a little odd and killed the vibe but if you like bingo you wouldn’t mind. I would definitely come back here for a beer and a burger.

The service we got here was Excellent, wait staff was fast, attentive, helpful and friendly, I wish all wait staff were like this in other restaurants, the food is fair/okay, basically bar type food, good place for groups or even just a few friends. One in our party had to send their mixed drink back because it was terrible, the mixed drinks are overpriced and full of ice, I had a light ale, price reasonable on that and the beer was okay.

Had the Cuban Cristo sandwich. Was delicious with the spicy jalapeño berry sauce. Also the jalapeño pretzel sticks with the spinach cheese dip is a favorite of our family. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. QqzQA

The beer was amazing. Food was mediocre at best. Would go back, but only for the beer.

Good food, good beer. Friendly and attentive staff. I really love that you can get your desert in a mason jar to take home.

In short this a great place to get a pub style meal and a hand crafted pint for a fair price. I have been staying at the Holiday Inn across the parking lot from here for the last 19 weeks. I eat here 2 – 3 times a week and have had excellent meals here and a few that I did care for as much. There are a few things that are consistent here. The Bartenders are full of themselves and frankly quite rude. Stick to a table, the wait staff is much friendlier and outgoing. They extend happy hour on game nights, Sun, Mon and Thurs. You can assemble a pretty nice spread for a few bucks on these days. The Angel Flare(IPA) is a pretty solid beer and is fairly consistent. The burgers are typically oversold and under delivered. The garden salad is underrated. Give it a try. I could go on all night but these are a few highlights that can help make your visit a little more enjoyable. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn ask them for a free pint coupon when you check in. Each guest can use one per visit. Who doesn’t love free beer. Also join their Rock Rewards club if you think you’ll be back. You can save a few more bucks here and they offer some pretty neat free stuff.

They took away the habanero shrimp! It was the reason I loved this place, what a terrible mistake! Sad face

Came in a few months ago after a friend of ours started working here and recommended that we try it. Food was good, my hubby had to send his meal back 2 times as his steak was not cooked right. I had one of their burgers and it was pretty good. The highlight was their desserts in a take home mini mason jar. Might try this place again.

Came here for dinner with my family of 4. Good place for kids and adults. My kids had the cheeseburger off the kids menu, was decent in size and flavor. My husband had the Cuban Cristo which was amazing! I had the Ale Chicken which was meh(wouldn’t recommend, looks nothing like the menu picture). And we all had the jalapeño pretzel stix with spinach cheese dip for an appetizer which was amazing and would definitely recommend! Our waitress took forever(almost 25 minutes) to greet us and by then we were almost ready to walk out. She wasnt very friendly and was kind of snooty. Hence the 4 stars. No military discount.

I’ve been here more than 20 times. Usually it’s great, but tonight it was blaa. The waiter didn’t write down our order, so of course, we didn’t get a salad before our burgers that we ordered. The burgers came out fast, but my husband’s burger was just a burger on a plain bun with onion straws, that’s it; nothing like the menu made it sound at all. The waiter did offer to give him a new burger and eventually took if off our bill, but the experience just wasn’t top notch tonight. Hopefully the food and the service will be more like I remember it next.

A go-to sit-down burger-and-beer restaurant close to home(tied with Bar Louie’s on a Tuesday) They recently redid their menu! Hoorah. Really though, they did a good job. Plus, even though it’s a chain now they did start in Denver in 2001, so it’s kinda local, right? They have a great selection of draft beers, including their own which are all good. And if you’re just doing happy hour check out their street food menu. Great options. Pre-new menu: I tried to order my burger cooked medium rare and the waitress said the patties were frozen and she wouldn’t recommend it that way. Post-new menu: I can order that burger medium rare, and it is twice as thick as it used to be, better quality meat you can taste and their combinations are much more inventive. I enjoy the bison and the jalepeno. Their beer battered onion rings are pretty good, too. We’ve never had a bad service experience here. Everything is clean. It’s one of the chains we don’t hate on the East side of town. Oh, and if you call ahead they’ll add you to the wait list … unlike some other breweries in town. And there’s a fairly large bar, so even if you do have a wait you can either wait it out at the bar or steal a table in there.

I always enjoy eating here, the beer is awesome(especially the milk chocolate stout, when they have it), and the nachos are legit. Best around. I’ve had many meals here and they have all been really good, and well prepared.

Apparently they’re are not a fan of money, after sitting for 10 minutes without even so much as an acknowledgment from the servers staring at their cell phones. It’s Monday night and not busy at all, had been coming here since 2009. Well, not anymore.

None of these places fall short for me so far, even the location in the damned airport! This time around I sampled the Vienna brew(amazing) and ate the artery-threatening Cuban Sandwich(it’s a Cuban rolled in beer batter, DEEPFRIED, dusted with powdered sugar, and served with jalapeño raspberry dipping sauce). Everything was fantastic and our server Kayla was a complete delight. Looking forward to coming back!

Rock bottom was recommended by a class mate. I’ve lived in Colorado springs before but didn’t try a lot of the breweries here, yea I was saying WTF to myself too after coming here. When I arrived it has the typical brewery/restaurant feel to it. Decided to sit at the bar because I was by myself. Right when I say down bartender instantly greeted me, I asked if all their beers were house brewed and he said they were(Always a good sign). I sampled a couple of beers, all tasted pretty good. The service was really good, bartenders were very knowledgeable about what beers paired really well with what types of food. Overall great service. Atmosphere was good as well, it was a little loud but not to the point to where I had to yell for a bartenders attention. Ordered some gucamole as an appetizer and it came out fresh! Not like some places where you have the brown color because it was made when the place opened that morning. While looking over the menu I noticed it was a little pricey, so that kinda turned me off to a steak dinner. Had another beer and ordered the classic burger with bacon(because burger is complete without bacon Right?) The burger was amazing!!! There was a Smokey sauce on it that set off the flavor of all the componets of the burger. I paired it a blond ale, which was recommended by my bartender so kudos to him. The ale wasn’t to thick to fill me up but didn’t taste like your typical commercial made beers. Overall I was very satisfied with Rock Bottom and would recommend it to everyone looking for a good burger and beer.

They’ve made several changes in staff within the last year or so and its made a big difference. Friendly and attentive staff when things aren’t busy makes the experience much more pleasant. The food: it’s pub food, and it’s pretty good. The one thing I can recommend without hesitation is the bacon, chicken mac n cheese. Without a doubt this Mac n cheese is the best in the Springs right now! No one even comes close. This is THE dish to have if you go to RB. The combination of crunch and texture is perfect and the cheeses meld together in perfect gooey harmony. It’s still incredible the next day warmed up. A testament to how this dish’s incredible flavor’s hold up. The beers: a good selection awaits your need for brew. The Kolsch is light and a touch sweet and the IPA is warm and slightly bitter. Both are good choices. I only drop a star due to the prices that never seem to stop going up. A group of four at dinner should not cost $ 140 at a pub.

Walking in, I like the feel of the place. I walked up to the bar, and that warm feeling faded. The bartender was new, I think. She also didn’t have a great personality, something me and another patron noticed. It’s not completely fair to judge a place based on one person but if she’s the bartender at a pub, then yes, it’s fair. Plus there’s some shady stuff going on with one of the employees here that works behind the bar and kitchen area. I’d advise you to NOT use your debit card at this establishment, or risk unauthorized charges.

Last Rock Bottom I was at was in Long Beach, Ca. This one in C springs is just as great as I remember RB yo be. Beer is awesome, had wings and a Chipotle pizza, both outstanding.

Been here many times. Latest visit was in the bar. Waitress was on her game, keeping us filled with a variety of beers. Also a bonus was the return of the regular pretzels. Whatever that other pretzel abomination was, I hope to never seen it again(although I know its on the menu). We stuck with appetizers this go around, and had a sampling of several. All were good. Will be back when on the east side, but lots of new beer places to try downtownish.
