This is a great little deli! Authentic Italian delicatessen. Had the hot pastrami sandwich and it was excellent! The service was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is a place we will visit again real soon!-Chaz

The people who review this place as good have simply never eaten real Italian food… this place is not even a knock off… it doesn’t taste Italian at all. Not only could the staff care less and spend a good amount of energy trying not to serve you… but they are just dismissive. The basic order of the place is chaotic, the plastic silverware doesn’t stand up to the plastic food, they spare ice in their drinks like there machine is broken and their refrigerator are set at cool, not cold. Just gave this place yet another try to avoid the fast food options on Garden of the God’s and am convinced Mollica’s excels in mediocrity. Never again!

They were out of lemonade. That is just bad management. I guess it’s impossible to get good help these days!

My go to item at Mollica’s is the Italian Salad to-go. If you are low-carbing it or just want an awesome salad that rocks, give the Italian Salad a try.

My husband and I came here after a hike and it was perfect. The staff is friendly. The food was definitely homemade. You can tell it comes from fresh ingredients. I also noticed they had a decent gluten free menu. The next time we are in Colorado Springs and want a fresh deli sandwich we will be here.

I’ve lived in Colorado Springs for almost 4 years and I can’t believe I’m just now trying this place! I haven’t been to Italy, but this place is the most legit-tasting Italian food! Fresh pasta, sauces that aren’t salty and overseasoned, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Ravioli, tortellini, the subs, the soup — I love it all and I haven’t even tried the desserts yet! The servers are also friendly and don’t give me side-eye when I ask questions about the menu. I can’t wait for my next visit!

Best Italian deli in COSPRINGS. If you’re looking for a good fast lunch this place is very good. The service is good and attentive. I like the sausage and meatball sub. My boss likes the pastrami sandwich. You can’t go wrong with the Italian hero either. My only compliant is that it is kind of pricey.

We reserved a table for 10ish people on a Friday night and they accommodated us no problem. Prompt attention by our server. Good sized portions for the price. Had the sausage and pepper pasta meal(½ size) and took some of that home. Sausage had a slight kick of spice(which I loved) and the tomato sauce was excellent. I had the tiramisu for dessert and it melted in my mouth, even though it was a little wet at the bottom. Can’t wait to go back!

Holy cannoli I found the one for cannolis, Italian cooking supplies and overall a really delicious Italian deli. So happy I Unilocaled this, I seriously was doubting the fact there was a decent if not authentic Italian place here let alone a bakery, deli, place to grab a bite. This place would’ve made Nona happy with the authentic cannolis, which were made right with ricotta, not some weird cream filling, I initially checked this place out because I needed to bring sweets for the Christmas office party but ended up returning to check out there deli and Italian cooking supplies. I wasn’t disappointed. This will be my go to for Italian food while I live here in Colorado springs and bonus they have the extra virgin olive oil I used to use back in LA

Food here is great after working up an appetite hiking. I got the Italian hero and my husband got the grinder garlic and wine special. The service was fast and friendly.

Their family size meals to go may be the best deal in town. It’s top notch quality, very affordable, and abundant. If you’re looking to feed a small army or two teenagers for not a lot of money, Mollica’s is your spot.

Great Unilocal find! Easy to get to and ample parking. Had the beef 8″ with a jus and Italian hero. Both were awesome and filling. Great Italian Café ambiance. Love small businesses like this one. Was eyeing the meatball sub at the table next to us so I think we will return. 5% discount if you pay with cash.

Fantastic! Ordered the lasagna and a calzone to go… very large portions and very delicious! My daughter bought a piece of the tiramisu and OHMYGOD it’s to die for! The cannoli’s are great too, but man on man that tiramisu… yum yum yum. Have had lunch here before and the sandwiches are also delicious, made to order, along with some yummy cold pasta side salad. You can’t go wrong here, dinner or lunch. And get some dessert!

Café ambiance in the heart of Garden of the Gods road. The pizza is scrumptious, and one pizza can feed two people, especially if you order a salad. Speaking of salad… the caprese is a bit pricey and is huge. Could easily be shared. My hubby had the lasagna and said it was average. Though it’s on a busy road, we still enjoyed sitting outside in the little patio area. The service was friendly and the wait time was typical. We plan to return! Very disappointed with our return visit! Staff was friendly, but it took almost 45 minutes to get our entrees on a weeknight. When my pizza arrived, it had burned pancetta instead of prosciutto. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs and the portion was smaller than expected. Not a big deal. We ordered an extra meatball. 20 minutes later, we asked about it. 10 minutes later, our server came out and told us they’d run out of meatballs. We canceled. They did bring us a cannoli on the house, which was delicious, but I’m not sure when /if we’ll return.

Oh my gosh this is the BEST Italian food! We bought spicy Italian sausage and ravioli to fix at home. Grilled the sausage, added a good chianti, salad and bread, and had a fabulous dinner! Oh yeah, you MUST try the spumoni! Hard to find at all, let alone as good as Mollica’s makes it! I need to go get some more. They also do cooking classes. Haven’t done that yet but I sure will!

I’ve been looking forward to going here for a while, but was disappointed. The service was disappointing– when we were ordering it felt a little blah and rushed(even though no one else was behind us) and not very warm. When our food arrived my husband’s sandwich was incorrect so he asked the man delivering it what kind of sandwich it was. The man said something like, «Well, I think you’d know what kind of sandwich you ordered!» The man told him it was pastrami but my husband had ordered the Dominic. My husband is nice so said he ordered the other sandwich but was fine eating this one; he just wanted to know what he was eating. The man walked away and didn’t once apologize or offer to make the other sandwich(even if my husband was willing to keep it, I thought the man should have at least offered to give him what he ordered– that didn’t happen.) I had the Italian Beef sandwich which was pretty tasty but I think I had been hoping for the Chicago style Italian beef flavor and this wasn’t it. The bread was good but the other reviews say they make their own bread, but when I asked I was told they get their bread from La Baguette.(Not a problem at all– it’s very good– just clarifying it for the other reviewers). It came with pasta salad which was interesting and very dry– not what I would expect– I didn’t care for it but our friend loved it and ate mine. My husband got the green chili soup and didn’t even finish it(it’s not like him to not finish soup!) and thought it wasn’t great. Maybe we were just there on an off day or maybe we have different tastes– I know this is a popular place and I like that it is unique. But I don’t think we will be returning based on the experience on this visit.

This is the real deal! I don’t love anyone’s Italian food but mine. However, this place has changed all that! I had the spaghetti with meatball which was plenty & my husband had their lasagna. OMG!!! The sauce was delicious! I have NEVER had sausage that tasted or has had the texture that these have… SOFREAK N’ GOOD! Also, thee very best lasagna I’ve ever had! Now, let’s talk about the Carrot Cake. 4 words. THEBOMBDOTCOM! And it’s like 4 layers of pure bliss. As long as this place keeps cooking like their cooking; they will have me as a customer! FYI-The bread they bring to the table should be warmed. The butter,(thankfully) was room temperature so it was easy to spread on the cold bead. If the food hadn’t been so good, that bread could have really messed up this review. But because the food is so good, they get a full pass with the frigid loaf =) If you are in the mood for Italian fare, COMEHERE!

Mollica’s, how much do I love thee? Let me count the ways… I can’t explain why an authentic family run Italian deli is in northern Colorado Springs but I have enjoyed each and every meal I have had at Mollica’s Italian Market & Deli. They take pride in their fresh ingredients — like the homemade lasagna and the sausages & brats they make the old fashioned way right on site. They have meats, cheeses, olives, and of course pasta, both for sandwiches and soups in house and for sale in the market part of the shop. I recommend their wraps, I’ve never been disappointed. Well portion, lots of flavor, and adding a cup of soup or their complimentary pasta salad always hits the spot. Grab an exotic looking bottled Italian soda or beer and call it a day. So good.
