I have visited this location multiple times. On my past visit is when I had my worst experience. I was refused service because the employees were ready to go home before the business was supposed to close. I arrived 12 minutes before closing after I raced there to get a sandwich after work. When I walked in the store I was not greeted as usual. The employees appeared to be cleaning up. The two employees just looked at each other and Angelo said, «I’m not making it». The other employee just didn’t know what to say. He looked dumbfounded. I asked them if they were closed. They said yes. I said it was still before closing. They said that their clock said they were closed. I showed them the time of the National Institute of Standards and Technology which is the official time of the United States which said that they were still open. Although, they still said they were closed. I then left after some conversation and went to the taco bell down the street. When I got to the drive thru I asked them what time it was and their time was correct. I did decide to file a comment card on the jersey Mike’s website which goes to the owner of the establishment according to Jersey Mike’s website. However, neither the owner or manager ever reached out to me. I have never been back and will not be going back. The same people who own this Jersey Mike’s own the one on garden of the gods too. I think the manager works both. I will not be going to that store either.

This location is a disgrace to the jersey mikes franchise. No meat, hard bread, and the awful customer service. Thank goodness I don’t live in Colorado Springs and never have to return.

I am absolutely NOT a fan of Subway, but every once in a while, I want a sandwich and don’t feel like going to pick up all the fixings for an occasional craving. I decided to try Jersey Mike’s when I was out running errands one day and was nicely surprised. The service was really friendly and the man behind the counter answered my questions. The menu is not extensive, which is not a bad thing. I opted for the original Italian. Bread was nice, meats and cheese were cut to order. I got a medium and it lasted me for two meals. I’ll have to say I’m a fan of this place. I’m looking forward to trying some more of their sandwich offerings.(and there looks to be a location opening up at some point on 8th for those a little further south)

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. They got my order wrong. When I went up to the register to contest this the lady said NOITSNOTWRONG. I showed her it was and she grabbed the sandwich out of my hand and threw it in the trash. Then attempted to remake it. I decided to tell the manager and he did nothing about it except give me a refund. No apology or anything. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this location to anyone. Will never come back here!

I have zero clue why this location has only 2 stars. I usually hit the place up during the lunch rush and it’s always been a pleasant experience. The store does get a little messy sometimes, but it is a really busy place. I find the subs here to be pretty high-quality compared to everything that’s offered in the surrounding area. Personally, I’m a fan of the Turkey sub«Mike’s Way». I do wish they would fix their credit card machine, it seems to always be «broken» and I can never get a receipt. It’s not a big deal, but I’ve seen a couple people who are unhappy about that. It’s easy to understand, people want an itemized receipt of what they purchased. Get it fixed guys.

Today was my first trip to Jersey Mikes. I got the chicken Philly California style. The meat was dry and a very strange texture, not at all what I was expecting… I got the regular size and just the sandwich was 8.60! No chips or drink. On top of that when you are paying it asks if you want to leave a tip! So awkward standing there while the person who made your sandwich is staring you down, wanting a tip. I don’t feel obligated to tip at jimmy johns or subway so why is this place different? The bread was decent and tasted ok and the cheese was melty but the strange texture of the chicken threw me off so I couldn’t finish it. It was like sheets of meat instead of chopped up and it was over cooked. I don’t think I will be returning. I’ll stick to jimmy johns at this point… Service was good and fast, but not anything special.

Stopped by for something quick for dinner. No one was in here and a few tables were dirty(e.g. food, crumbs, etc). There were about 5 – 6 visible staff but they couldn’t bother wiping the tables down? A couple of the tables were closer to the front so it was easily visible by the general public. Otherwise the food was ok. I got the grilled pastrami Reuben or something like that. The roll was soft. It had decent flavor but I think they added too much thousand island dressing. Would I go back? Maybe, but if I see dirty tables then I’d probably walk out. If they don’t have time to do a quick wipe of the tables then what else are they not cleaning behind the counter around the food prep area.

The young woman who helped me was very nice. I was just checking the place out with some free time so I ordered the mini roast beef and provolone. The bread was light and soft, but it made up the majority of the bulk and I’ve been trying to reduce my carb intake. The beef might have been good, but there wasn’t enough of it. The topping selection is very small — lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, yellow peppers, oil, vinegar. I love Which Wich for the massive amount of topings, so this is the opposite. The thing that really burned me was the paper thin cheese. The oil and vinegar she poured all over startled me, but it ended up not being too sloppy and tasted good, masking the lack of ingredient flavor. The nothing-special 5 inch sub wasn’t worth the almost $ 7. Not a warm interior.

Not sure about the other folks experiences but I ate there twice and the food was fine. Maybe its the time of day and depends on who is working. Like any food joint, if the people on duty are tools, then so will your service. I will agree that it’s a bit pricey for what you get.(hence 4 starts and not 5) But I would eat there again.

Don’t go !

Ordered the 15 inch cheesesteak to share that was skimpy on the meat. Tore off half the bread to make it feel like a regular sub. Add American cheese, for a dollar. No chips, one drink. 20 $. And on top of this, the cashier wants a tip. Jersey Mikes, pay your employees better! Won’t be back. Not recommended.

When I walked in there was a long line and I almost left. Then I thought this must be good food, so I waited in line and the friendly hardworking staff had no problem handling the lunch time crowd. My sub was great. It tasted just like I was hoping it would. It was the best Italian sub we have had in years.

Never coming back. I’m from point pleasant beach, nj. I’ve met the owner Tim at the Grand opening of his first jersey mikes in the springs. His management has gone downhill. As a huge jersey mikes fan from point pleasant beach, nj, this is extremely disappointing. Today I asked for extra turkey, $ 2 extra, and I’m leaving hungry. There was barely any turkey and almost no provolone. I took a picture of the wrap afterwards and it’s appalling how much tortilla is left after eating what little turkey there was in the wrap. It was more like a lettuce wrap with extra tortilla. Very disappointed. I’m here at jersey mikes now writing this review because I’m so upset. Tim you need to pay your staff more or hire more competent staff. I will not be coming back, regrettably. In new jersey, I never had to ask for extra meat because they knew how to make a good sandwich and the customer happy. This experience at woodman was pathetic. Do it right or don’t do it at all, tim.

The food was great, the staff was friendly, the gangster rap with the words«pussy», «nigger», and«fuck» added to the family friendly atmosphere… My 2yr old and 6 yr old loves it…

Pros: military and law enforcement discount, thanks! They cut the meat in front of you fresh Mikes way for condiment selection Cons: Too pricey for the size of the sandwich Brown lettuce Bread was stale and hard, not fresh, at least on my sandwich but the other two I got were ok didn’t cut sandwiches all the way through Overall, an ok sandwich joint and probably won’t be back. I will stick with Togos and Jimmy Johns and maybe even Subway… ok, maybe not Subway lol
