I scheduled a deep cleaning for 3.5 hours with 2 people for $ 288($ 30 more than a regular cleaning for the same hours). I thought this was a decent price for a deep cleaning. In the end, it was just a cleaning. I work 60+ hours a week and travel, so my house needed some work. I have pets, so safe to say there is a fair amount of hair. I called requesting some de-furring and they said they could oblige. I asked for a weekend appointment for the first cleaning so I can tell them what I wanted and hopefully start regular cleanings. I called and set a Saturday 08:30 appointment. The day before, they called to confirm and I asked if there was any way for them to start earlier. The woman said yes and confirmed 08:00. Saturday comes… 08:00… 08:27… 08:37… so I called and left a message. At 08:57, two young girls show up. I told them they were late and instead of acknowledging my disappointment, girl #1 responds with an attitude and says she has a 30 minute window. I told her she was supposed to be here at 08:00. Not a good start. She then gets the contract and starts by telling me all the things she would not do as if she was doing me a favor. Nope, not a favor, she was getting paid. I gave her $ 300 in cash and she had no change even though I told them I’d pay cash. They did not start cleaning until 09:05. They asked what I wanted them to focus on. I said the grout in the bathrooms between the tiles and dust. They spent the next hour in my master bath, the bedroom, then the other bathroom, kitchen, then living room. What they did well: the fireplace was dusted well, house was mostly cleaned and looked 85% better when they left. Girl #2 was nice. The oven looks great and microwave too! Improvements: The grout was not cleaned between the tiles as requested nor the top tiles touched. I wiped to see if it was caked and it was not. It wiped clean. I had to point out the places they didn’t dust and there were places they still missed. The sink fixtures were not wiped all the way, the kitchen floor corner was left undone by the fridge(not even swept well), didn’t de-fur as well as I had hoped, and I left water in the trash can to soak and they didn’t clean it, just put a bag in it with the water still in it. Around 11:45, Girl #1 said she would be ending at 12:15. I told her I paid for 3.5 hours and they didn’t start until 09:05. She looked at me as if I requested something inappropriate and told me and my fiancé there was a 15 minute variance. They did end up staying until 12:30 and I gave them other places to clean. In the end, they cleaned more place than expected, but I would have preferred a more thorough job in less places — deep cleaning. I still tipped $ 30 plus the $ 12 change I was owed. Would I use them again? I thought about it, but it is Thursday and no response from the owner from the initial call about their tardiness, so the answer is no. Otherwise, I would have shared this with the owner direct instead of Unilocal

**UPDATE** «Unfortunately Matthew regarded these attempts to resolve the issues as us trying to harass him and his fiancée, which was certainly not our intention.» When you call us on blocked numbers, after being told not to call us again and threaten us with lawsuits for leaving honest reviews, that becomes harassment, idiot. We are not only incredibly disappointed with the poor cleaning service we received, but also the harassment we received from the owner Mario after not being satisfied with our service. After originally leaving a negative(yet honest and fair) review on google, my fiancé, myself, and my finances father were harassed over the span of 4 days with calls from the owner telling us how unacceptable it is to be disappointed with the cleaning service and to leave a bad review. We were moving out the day after the service and could not have them come back again and fix their poor job. If you are not happy with the service and do leave an honest review online, expect to not only be harassed with phone calls(I have received 6 from the owner, my fiancé received 6, even my finances father received phone calls), but also have your names posted publicly in an attempt to shame you out of a review(real professional…). Now for the review of their services; carpets were not completely cleaned, tops of fans were completely missed(very noticeable when walking down the stairs), window bases not completely clean even after I bought it to the cleaners attention, and only 30% of grout in the kitchen was cleaned. I cannot believe how poorly Mario handled our first review and I am certain he will respond in the same immature manner as before. For the price of the service it should be done right the first time.
