Kathy Clean

I contracted for a «deep clean» and emphasized the reason was that I had two major surgeries in the last year and could not do it on my own. The two women who showed up were 2 hours late (excused by saying that there must have been a mistake in scheduling), and then they did a very poor job of cleaning… and entirely missed a bedroom and the basement! The rest looked like it had been dusted, but not cleaned. I have taken pictures of the area behind the toilet and on the shelves in the lower bath… neither were touched! I cannot recommend them and have requested a refund!

I bought a housecleaning from these folks through a well-​known online vendor (which will remain anonymous because I don’t want to tarnish their good name). When I called to schedule the service, I got an automated message that told me to schedule through their website. I filled out the website form and heard nothing for over a week. Then I got an email from Kathy Harline saying they wouldn’t come to my house because it’s not in their service area, despite the Groupon stating «south Aurora» is included in their area. I am definitely in south Aurora. Kathy said their service area ends at Hampden. I’m only about 1 mile north of Hampden! Jewell Ave is the center of Aurora and I’m well south of that.
After I exchanged a couple of emails with Kathy, in which I politely insisted that I was in south Aurora, and therefore in their service area, I got an email from someone named Greg Harline, who very rudely informed me that they would not come to my house.
With customer service like this before anyone even shows up, I can’t imagine what sort of abysmal treatment you’d get once they’d actually taken your money. These people are untrustworthy. Whatever you do, don’t let them into your house, near your valuables, and especially, around your loved ones.
