I would love to give this restaurant another try as it is local. Food was pretty good and hummus was delicious. The first thing I noticed was they used a sour rag to wipe down the table which turned me off, but everything else was pretty good. Was it the best Mediterranean food I have ever had? No. Would love to give it another shot!

We had high hopes for the Caspian Café after we read all the stellar reviews on Unilocal. The décor has a European feel to it but a little too dark my taste. Our server was friendly and was on top of our drinks the entire meal. We started with the hummus appetizer, it came out obviously pre-plated more than likely from the previous day as the hummus was hard as it was so cold and the veggies were looked wilted and unappetizing. The hummus had decent flavor but the texture was a turn-off as it sat so long in the fridge. We order the lamb Gyros and they were alright, again like the hummus the tzatziki sauce was hard and had been sitting in the fridge too long. Overall an alright meal, not worth going out of the way for.

The food at this restaurant was truly stellar. We’ve eaten all around the US and even abroad and this food was different a delicious. We started with eggplant is a honey chili sauce which was to die for. I had the pork chops stuffed with olives and cheese, which was Devine. My husband had the lamb with honey and almonds and veggies, which was sensational. Cannot praise the food, and service, highly enough. Run, don’t walk to this restaurant.

THE most delicious restaurant I have probably ever been in(that was not in Spain). The actual restaurant is stunningly gorgeous; the man who is obviously the owner, incredibly kind and obviously completely caring about the experience of all who dine his delicious creations; the food.. .. OH the food. I had the Moroccan chicken that came with rice and veggies and it was the kind of dish you close your eyes as you taste the first bite and then smile and sway in your seat, continuing to eat as if in drunken food coma love. I couldn’t eat it all. But I brought it home. And it will be eaten tomorrow. If you only eat at one restaurant in Colorado, eat at this one. You might want to eat at it every night.

This is my favourite eatery in the Springs and I eat out frequently! The owner Mo takes SERVICE seriously and regularly tests to see in case you are happy with the waiter. Any waiter you get here is careful, and knowledgable about the menu. Then there’s the food, totally delightful! The moussaka is my favorite. They constantly have daily specials also, the costs are high but the quality is there.

Ordered takeout. Got inside and it felt like 90 inside. Nice interior, out front they need a landscaper it’s a bit overgrown. Found this place while in search of morrocan tagine. I got the tagine with lamb, apricots and almonds. I really liked the lamb it was very delicious. It wasn’t as spicy as I expected. I would of liked larger pieces of apricot. Very good still. Wife got chicken gyros platter. She liked it. The tziki sauce was a little on the chunky side. I liked it too. Some of the desserts on the menu look great we will be back.

Checked this gem out last night and the whole experience as amazing! I definitely recommend this place to everyone. The service was very nice and efficient with smiles. They have belly dancers there at certain times on Fridays and Saturdays. The food was absolutely delicious!

I had a date here not too long ago and it was a great night. This restaurant has dim lighting with a calm atmosphere; perfect for conversation and a romantic dinner. The menu had multiple options and can accommodate a myriad of palettes. We stuck to appetizers(fried egg plants) and some wine for a good hour. The owner himself came out to check on us and asked if there was anything he could to do make our experience better. The food was savory and the wine choices were of good vintage. I suggest this place for date night or a meal with good conversation to be had.

WONDERFUL!!! This is how good food should be prepared all the time! I can’t wait to go back! Excellent wait staff and friendly hosts make the experience so nice, but when expertly prepared cuisine comes out too??? WOW! Mediterranean and middle eastern deliciousness. Started off with appetizer of tzatziki dish which was fresh and delightful. The yogurt spread was very thick and rich and accompanied by fresh pita slices and tomatoes, olives and feta. Yum. Would have been better with thinly sliced red onion on the side too. Oh well, I’ll remember to ask for some next time. They have a respectable wine list to choose from and we purchased a bottle of Australian Shiraz/Cabernet called Insurrection that was perfect accompaniment to the meal. Bread and herb-infused oil was served to our table too. Before our entrées came out, the music changed and out comes a lady in ornate clothing and zills on her fingers who swayed and wriggled to the music exotically. Very cool! Belly dancing! Our food arrived soon after and not only looked amazing but smelled heavenly too. I had the Moroccan chicken which blew my mind on how exquisite it was prepared. Marinated with citrus and herbs then perfectly grilled, my chicken was served on top of basmati rice and drizzled with savory sauce that had incredible seasonings. Beautifully cooked carrots and snow peas complimented the dish wonderfully. It was difficult to not lick the plate in public! My husband had a hearty and extraordinarily delicious prime rib slice served with homemade rosemary mashed potatoes and the same carrots and snow peas I had. Delish! Dad had the pasta with shrimp special which was served with a decent amount of shrimp, mushrooms and onions in a creamy and tangy sauce over whole wheat pasta that was amazing. Mom had the kebobs and while they looked good, I was in a cuisine stupor from our dishes already. Loved this quaint place with excellent food and service and belly dancer entertainment to boot! Sigh. Happy Unilocaler here.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in town, but I went last night and got the Prome Rib special. I only finished half of my meal and asked to get a to-go box for the remainder of it. Today, I went to dig in to my leftovers and found a LARGE shard of GLASS hidden in my mashed potatoes! This should never happen! Ever! We paid ~ $ 120 for our dinner for two and I’m disappointed to have discovered this after the fact. I had to throw my food out and am questioning what else I may have consumed last night that came out of the kitchen.

Found this place on Unilocal and was totally surprised. Drove 35 miles to to try it and was very satisfied. The food was awesome! I had the kebab platter and my wife had the chicken kebab. The dessert was off the charts. Flavors were great, portions were good, service was spot on, prices were good, and the ambiance was awesome. Good food and show with the table side belly dancer who was great. Definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

Found this fantastic Mediterranean restaurant thru Unilocal. We were not disappointed. I didn’t think that Mediterranean meant food from different countries along the Mediterranean Sea. So many choices and excellent food at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this place. Friendly wait staff and the place is decorated to beautifully. Too bad we were just visiting Colorado. Next time we come back we will definitely come here again and try other delicious sounding dishes.

We have dined here many times and keep coming back for more. We send all our guests here and have never had a complaint, so we keep sending them guests, knowing they will be satisfied… A safe bet! There are many special occasions to want to be back at this Special place. Great service to boot. Good wine selection… Thanks Mo Z & C

Our waitress Ashley was very friendly and efficient. She was mindful of my food restrictions and she offered really great service. The food was… average. Nothing to write home about. I love sea food and the best part of my meal was the shrimp pesto. My entrée was the salmon in a citrus glaze and that was just blah. I’ll come back again and give this place another try mainly because the service was great, and that, makes a big difference to me.

Exceeded our expectations! Service was warm, efficient, and family-friendly. Sea bass special was perfectly sized and executed. Tapas plate had something for all our family members, even the pickiest of eaters. Ambience was excellent. We’ll be back.

I’ve been twice now. The first time was a date w/the wife. The second was with a party of 10. Both times we were treated the same – wonderfully! They make every dish to order so you’ll wait a little bit, so order an appetizer. The calamari appetizer is one of the best I’ve had – and I grew up on the Gulf Coast so I have high expectations for seafood. Speaking of seafood, I had the sea bass, which was a special that night. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly!!! The downfall was the portion size of the bass was on the small side. I expected a larger piece for 27 bones. Luckily, I had the appetizer.

Driving onto the parking lot off of I25 next to a low end chain hotel, I had my doubts, but the food and experience was so impressive, we might visit Caspian Café again during our brief stay in Colorado Springs. The décor is modern and warm. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The warm bread was a nice beginning to one of the finest meals I have enjoyed this year. The Moussaka, a Greek pie with layers of seasoned lamb and beef, potatoes, grilled eggplant, zucchini, finished with fresh herbs was the best version of this dish I have ever eaten. This dish alone is worth the trip. Bathrooms are well maintained. Parking is plentiful. If you enjoy Greek food, you must dine at the Caspian Café.

The gyros were very tasty and went well with the Tatziki sauce. The kids meals were typical American fare… nothing to write home about. We also got a baba ganoush appetizer and it was delicious too. The service was outstanding… the young lady who was our waitress ensured that everything was bought out in time, in the right order. We never had to ask for anything… and that’s a big thing considering two picky girls. Highly recommend for a nice dinner in Colorado Springs

Came to dinner at Caspian for a friend’s birthday. The restaurant has nice décor, it’s clean and spacious. On Saturday night they have a belly dancer performing among the tables. The food was really good, although very heavy on the garlic. We had the Tapas Platter for starters. The Dolmas were the best I have eaten so far. Not cold(like in most places) but room temperature and the leaves were not acidic like most of the restaurant offer them. I don’t like Dolmas and I did enjoy them. The baba ganoush and the hummus were ok, not totally bad but not memorable either. We did not like the olives at all. For my main course I choose the soup of the day: Pumpkin. It was creamy and rich and very spiced and delicious. I would say that was the highlight of my meal. I also had the Veggie Caspian Sandwich with a side greek salad. Again good food but very heavy on the garlic. Overall everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and our waitress Asia was very attentive and nice. She even pointed out in the end that gratuiti was already included(for parties of 6 or more) I have never had that happen with anyone else at any other restaurant. I think it was nice of her to remind us that we did not have to add a tip… in case someone forgot and tipped her twice. I thought it was very honest and I appreciated it. She also took out a plate of Baklava for the birthday girl. Which was nice! …but it only came out after we had already ordered dessert. So she kindly boxed it for my friend. So sweet. This restaurant is on the pricey side, with all entrees starting around $ 30. So it’s more for special occasions then for every day dining. But it is a nice place to enjoy a pleasant dinner with friends and service was spot on. We’ll be back.
