I’m from San Diego and I know good Mexican food… This is not it. The tacos are average and the burritos, rice, and beans are completely tasteless. My husband literally couldn’t eat the burrito he got in the #10. We seriously went across the street to get Jack In The Box immediately after trying this place. Don’t waste your money.

Yummy burritos but it could be a little cleaner inside. Weve been 3 times and the food is good! :)

I’ve eaten here multiple times including breakfast and this place definitely lives by it’s name. I don’t see how they stay in business with the amount of food you get in relation to the price. A bacon egg and potato breakfast burrito is only $ 4.29 with tax.

Quick service(usually) … the drive-thru is open 24 hours which is nice. The food is great … if greasy, heart-failure-inducing Mexican food is what you’re in the mood for. I got a Carne Asada burrito and it was literally the size of my forearm(and loaded with meat, none of that«tortilla filled with rice» bs). The Carne Asada fries are enough for two or three people, absolutely delicious. The green salsa is infinitely better than the red salsa. The horchata is good(but better if you take it home and add rum).

My fish tacos were very attractively presented, with sliced radish on the side. Lettuce and tomato seemed unusually fresh. Fish serving was ample and crisply deep-fried. Venture inside.

Alright, this is where things are going to start getting real. I’ve eaten at this spot 100 times and have never been disappointed. You know what I say when I walk out every time? Muy Delicioso! And then I rub my fat belly. Yes the booths are old but I don’t really care. I haven’t a clue on how it works in California but I don’t visit taco shops for their ambiance. The meat on the nachos and fires? That’s called Carne Asada. Yes the food is greasy… that’s why it taste good. You like fries on your breakfast burrito? Go to Burger King. The Big Burrito doesn’t participate in that sort of behavior. The bottom line is the only way you can go to the Big Burrito and walk away unhappy is if you try to order a small burrito(they don’t have those).

It was $ 5.93 for bacon breakfast burrito and coke, so the price is good, however I prefer others. Like another review said the potatoes are not French fries, but I kinda like fries. The tortilla was pretty good. The salsa bar is covered which is nice, but many of the booths are falling apart. I really wish I could find a Mexican place in the Springs that just takes more pride in their food. I’ve lived in Orange County and also Imperial Valley so I know great Mexican food.

If you are from Southern Cali and think that rice and beans have no place in a burrito then this place is definitely for you! I eat here once or more a week and have never had a bad burrito. They are open 24 hours and the owner is almost always there to ensure quality. I asked what«buche» is and didn’t prefer the description so the owner made me a free taco to sample and it was delicious and I order it frequently now. They also have fresh made horchata, agua fresca, and pine apple juice. The interior is nothing to write home about and they don’t serve alcohol, but I have always ordered to go. If you are sick of Chipotle and Qudoba and want to support locally owned business try this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

The food here is always good and more authentic than most places in town. It has, by far, the best breakfast burritos around. Breakfast burritos are one of my favorite foods, so when I move to a new area, I search out the best one around. After having lived in various places in LA, the breakfast burrito at Big Burrito is better than anything I found there. I’ve now been away from Colorado Springs for almost 2-years, living in Northern California. I’ve been search and searching, but can’t find a burrito that can match Big Burrito. I’l be by whenever back visiting Colorado!

Got a shredded beef burrito meal with the beans and rice. The beef was dry and tasteless. The beans and rice were good, but I’d stay away from any meal of theirs that has the shredded beef, it’s not good even if you try and drown it with hot sauce for some flavor. Also, another thing that irritates me is their employees don’t appear to know how to speak much english. If you live and work in the US, learn to speak our language-the ENGLISH language! We shouldn’t have to attempt to learn yours just to place an order and ask about certain menu items and wonder if you know what we’re talking about.

The shreaded beef in the burritos is greyish and bland. Enchilada gooey and all sauce/cheese. Guy in drive thru forgot to give me my Sprite. Had to drive back. Messy food. Stains the hands. Sub par Mexican food.

Best breakfast burritos in town. Potatoes are actually potatoes– not just fries(like many other Mexican fast food in town). Ask to try a free sample of the Green Chile. When you decide to order some, it comes in a soup bowl and served with a huge tortilla. One of my favorite menu items. I even order it as a sauce to pour over pretty much anything! Always plenty of seating, and the staff remembers you, and is always happy to welcome you back.

I was jonesing for nachos today, so I hit the drive through. The person who took my order was rather short — didn’t ask questions, kept asking«What?» The guy at the window was very friendly. Didn’t wait long for food, and it did arrive hot and fresh. I ordered the nacho supreme, and for $ 7 it was a portion large enough for 2. There was TONS of meat on it, and it looked delicious. The green sauce was really good and had a nice bite to it. I did like the chopped up cilanto in it. Really did NOT like the meat on the nachos. It wasn’t shredded beef. Not really sure what it was, kinda looked like chopped up cheese steak lunch meat. It was tough and rather fatty. And did I mention there was a LOT of meat on the nachos? Didn’t really care for the nachos either, they had that really-old-grease-in-the-deep-fryer-that-hasn’t-been-changed-for-three-weeks aftertaste to them. Doubt I’ll go here again when QDoba is just across the street.

Ambiance: Clean, yet sterile environment. Quite a few tables if you choose to eat in. Order at counter, and wait in lobby until your order is ready. They give you a tray with your food, along with two bottles of salsa(one red and one green). Service: Courteous. Food arrives within a few minutes of order. Food: Fair to good. Their tacos are very good — much better than many Mexican restaurants in town — on par with Monica’s or Taco Express. Shredded beef has good flavor, the results of a good marinade. Not a fan of their enchiladas. They were covered and hidden under a huge mound of lettuce and shredded cheese. The enchilada itself was rather small and skimpy, with little filling. The rice has good flavor, but the beans are very watery and bland. Good homemade salsa. Serves my favorite Mexican beverage, Horchata. Overall, a mixed bag, but I really like their tacos. Wouldn’t drive out of my way to dine here, but an ok option if in the area.
