Awesome service! I am a first time runner and went there for my first real pair of running shoes. The salesman was excellent! First, he took an image of my foot to see where the pressure points are. Next, he grabbed a pair of shoes he thought would work and put me on the treadmill. The treadmill records your running to see the way your foot hits the ground. He ended up bringing four options and some running socks. It took a while for me to decide which ones were a good fit. All the while he was very patience never rushed me, in fact he kept saying take your time. Overall a great experience! Can’t wait to try these puppies out.

My mom and I both came here to get new shoes at different times. Service: Great and OK. The guy who helped her was so friendly. When I went back a week later, the girl who helped me was knowledgeable and helpful but would it kill her to smile? They also had me run to check out my stride. I didn’t learn anything new though. I have flat feel and overpronate. But it’s good to know they do their due diligence. Selection: So, my mom has flat feet and so do I. So, we both had limited options. But her options were WAY funner than mine. She had two options for the three shoes the guy showed her. I had one option for each of the shoes she showed me. Maybe my foot needs more stability than hers so there were less options, but we tried on the exact three same brands. Won’t hold it against them though. Although I do cringe throwing down $ 120 for something I don’t think is pretty at all. I hate having to choose between pretty and practicality. The latter always wins. Price: Really good. I did some online comparisons and most of what I was looking at were $ 160+. My shoes here were only $ 120. I’ll be back.

I went to boulder running company for kinesio tape. They didn’t have any, but the employee took time to show me what I actually needed to do to help my knee pain. I will definitely be back for my next pair of shoes.

This store is terrific. It’s usually a bit of a wait if I go on Saturdays, so I plan to have lots of time if I go on a weekend day. Otherwise, it’s worth the wait. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and will first have you run on a treadmill to check gait, stride, etc. Then you try on the shoes and run again to check for comfort and fit. I love that the store has a terrific selection of socks, accessories, braces, clothing, and supplements. It also hosts registrations for many of the races locally. Larry is my go-to guy whenever I shop at the store: he has been extremely helpful in fitting me with shoes and will order a certain size if necessary. Bottom line: be patient when you shop here — it’s worth the time.

After a week with shin splints, my boyfriend convinced me to go buy some good running shoes and to get someone to help fit me. I chose this store due to its location. I walked in along with a group of three other people. Two employees were in the store and were helping others. No one greeted me(or the others) as they were busy, so I waited my turn and started looking around the store. The other people sat down for about 5 minutes and then left. I strolled around the store for awhile and another employee came out of the back. He didn’t say a thing to me and went behind the register. If you haven’t been to one of these stores, this is not a self-serve store. You can’t try on anything unless you have an employee helping you. After 15 minutes of waiting, another customer walked in and the employee behind the register went right over to him and asked him if he needed some help. At that point, I just left and went to another store downtown where I purchased my shoes. These stores are set up for employees to help customers, there’s no way around it. If you don’t even want to help me, I’ll just spend my $ 150 elsewhere.

I walked in knowing exactly what I needed, but help was sparse. One worker made a couple of suggestions and asked for my size, but continued to converse with other customers. While other workers could’ve been delegated to help find those shoes, he decided otherwise. I won’t be returning to a place with poor customer service and overpriced shoes. I’ll probably find better customer service online.

My first experience was good with this store. I walked in and was immediately greeted and directed to the section I needed. They carried the shoes I needed. The gentlemen who helped me seemed knowledgeable and was quick with offering advice. Overall a good job.

The Boulder Running company where all your running needs are taken care of. I recently got into running to change up my workout. The first rule of this seems to get good running shoes, well being the A+ student that I am that’s just what I did. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable at this place. They start you off by getting you on the treadmill(if you are in tennis shoes when you go in you will do this first– if not they may fit you with a shoe) and video record you running. This is a way for them and you to see how you run; whether it’s a perfect stride or you lean on the inside/outside. They then show you the nuances in your run and will suggest a shoe for you. They bring out several different shoes to try on and allow you to choose the perfect one. You can get back on the treadmill or take a jog outside. This place is great for people who run or are just starting out. They have a smörgåsbord of shoes to choose from, as well as shirts, shorts, water bottles and etc. Just an FYI– this is a running store– so they have a table with information on the different runs going on in the springs, and some in Denver. It will allow you to get information and sign up for some!
