You can’t beat it. Unbelievable service and attention. Well mannered, professional, straightforward and honest. It’s comforting to finally find someone who knows what they are doing, why they are doing it and aren’t just pushing dancers through to make a buck. They really care and will take the time to individualize each dancers needs. I’ve taken my daughter another shop in Boulder for her pointe shoes and they put her in a 3x. She wears a 1x.
She learned her technique completely wrong due to the ill fitting shoes and has to completely relearn her positioning. Beware of any shop that does not take the time to look at and manipulate your dancer’s feet. You should be in full dress and prepared to warm up and do some pointe work for Noël. He wants to see how your current shoes and several in the store work for you. You WILL get your money’s worth and a whole lot more at this shop.

I will never shop here again. I was not made aware of the store’s return policy on special order shoes. I ordered a half size bigger of very expensive dance shoes that they stock. When they came in, they did not fit. The very rude owner refused to give me a refund. She pointed to the «no refund» policy which was in tiny letters on the store counter and insisted on giving me a store credit, even though I live overseas in London and I had already tried on everything they have in my size. My mother and I each bought two pairs of shoes the other day, not to mention the many previous purchases we have made there over the years. Anyway I am still shocked and actually horrified at how badly I was treated. I understand the no-​refund policy but they should have made it clearer, especially when the shoes have not even been tried on prior to the order, and also taken into account all of the business we have given them over the years. I work as a dance teacher in London, and I buy a lot of shoes for work. I will most definitely take my business elsewhere when I am next in Colorado Springs.

They have everything you need and even take the time to sew on the straps on the ballet shoes should you need. They take the time to fit your feet properly and help you with any questions. Should you need to exchange or return an item they also are very considerate of that as well. Can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I’ve been shopping at Assemble’ Dancewear since it opened in the ’90’s. They have a fabulous selection of dancewear on hand at all times and go out of their way to accomodate customers when something special is needed. It’s truly wonderful to have almost instant access to the equipment I need for myself and my ballet students.
As a dance teacher, I’ve never seen anyone else with as much knowledge about pointe shoes as Noël. His analysis of what will work for a dancer’s foot is always «spot on» and the service provided is always friendly and complete.
