Okay. Does not seem impressive from the outside. However, probably the best Chinese food in the Collegeville area. Great place to sit down, have some tea, and enjoy a really affordable, well-made dish. There were many times I was in the midst of papers, projects, or studies and this place was fantastic to just relax and refuel at. Experiment a little and get something outside of the boring old beef with broccoli or general Tso’s at most places. They have great combinations, so take advantage of them!

We have given this place several tries. This is the third time now we have been disappointed. They messed up our order so I called them. The woman all but called me a liar. She reluctantly said to come back with the food and she would replace. When I went to return the food she snatched the bag or my hand and started counting the dumplings! She then wanted to charge me for dumpling sauce. The woman is rude and the food is poor at best

Hot and sour soup was good. The rest was really disappointing. Got takeout and didnt even want the leftovers. I’d say below avg chinese. It seemed like they fried everything in old veg oil.

Worst Chinese restaurant ever. I ordered the Seafood Panfried noodles, and they gave me imitation crab meat and not even a full bite of noodles to accompany the seafood and veggies. I was so upset I didn’t even touch it. I’ll never return to this place even if they were giving out free food, which is sad because the owner is Chinese. C’mon now…

The rating is for generic«Americanized Chinese» as indicated by tough, rubbery wontons and, as of yesterday, substituting those fishy tasting faux crab stix for real shrimp in the Subgum Wonton soup. Very tacky. The new owners had better get their act together as they’ve lost a thirteen-year customer thanks to crab stix. CP

The only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because the fried wontons in szechuan sauce are pretty awesome. The staff is rude, the food quality is entirely up in the air, and sometimes it’s not even hot(seriously, Chinese food is always hotter than normal food). Used to be the best, but since they got new owners(?) or whatever, it’s really not the same.

I’ve been visiting China Jade for at least four years — not sure if its a new cook, new owners or what, but it’s really gone done hill in the last couple months. I didn’t write anything the first bad lunch I got — figured it could be a bad day. But that isn’t the case — my co-workers & I are in agreement, something has changed the food is no where near as good as it use to be.

I love the consistency of this place. Even with a change in ownership. Their to-go packaging is really good, i.e., everything is packed so neatly. Love their won ton, egg rolls, and home made sauces. Good chinese restaurant.

Come here for the food and forget about the décor. Very tasty Hunan Chicken and the Chicken loMein was excellent. Our combo meals for 3 came with a bowls of very good soup. Both hot and sour and wonton were good. We each got a egg roll(hot, tasty and fresh) pork fried rice and our entrée. A pot of tea and oranges rounded out out meal. Cost 23.00 dollars. Service ws fast and friendly. I noticed they do a tremendous takeout business and this was only a Thursday. I was told by the owner about the lunch only buffet and can’t wait to try it.

I’ve only done takeout. My favorite is curried chicken. Overall their food is good. I can imagine that the dining in ambience is not so good — dark and dingy!

First visit there today — mixed impression. I’m generally not a fan of buffets but the food was decent. Service not too bad for a buffet — plates were cleared and water glasses refilled promptly. Two big turnoffs for me: — Terrible traffic flow around the buffet ‘island’ — Food containers were tiny on the buffet. The rice pot was constantly empty. In a Chinese place? WTF??? Seriously, if you’re going to have a limited number of buffet selections, at least keep it stocked! The big plus was the price — very cheap.
