Lisa Szklanny helped me find a new apartment with a garage and elevators in specific geographical areas.
Comments:
I have dealt with many realtors over the years, but Lisa Szklanny is the best.
She is very easy to communicate with, answers all questions promptly and completely, and never skirts around the questions-​her answers are always right to the point.
Lisa was also very flexible when I changed my mind about the geographical area (a few times!).
Lisa had to do a lot of research to find apartments with garages and elevators, which eliminates about 90% of the apartment buildings in the Philadelphia suburbs. She used modern methods such as websites with apartment information, called the leasing agents to get more info when necessary, honored my various restrictions (such as wanting the top floor and no stairs in the apt), and presented her findings in a very organized and easy to understand manner.
When I finally settled on an apt complex, Lisa worked with me to investigate, find, and settle on a specific apartment there, and to get my many questions answered by the leasing agent. She also provided invaluable advice on such issues as the timing of my move, buy-​out of my current lease, and even moving company suggestions.
This experience would have been much more difficult and would have taken much longer had I not had Lisa’s help.
And the amazing thing is that it did not cost me a cent — Lisa will receive a commission from the new apt complex. (I made sure to mention to them right up front that I was working with Lisa.) Furthermore, unlike some real estate agents, Lisa said she is glad to help clients find apartments. That is, she does not insist on working only with houses.
Lisa has my highest recommendation.
