I’ve been to this location twice and both times I was told the slab wasn’t frozen and I couldn’t have mix ins. Save yourself the trouble and go to Cold Stone.

Where do I get to review Unilocal and their sucky maps. Second attempt at finding ice cream shop on Unilocal with ridiculous directions. Unilocal leaving you

Foremost if the stars were just for taste it would get 5 stars BUT the rude service deserved no stars. The ice cream is delicious and the best in this small town. Basically about 16 different flavors all home made and lots of fixings you can add from fruit, to chocolate to nuts the variety is great. They also have lots of waffle cones to choose from. I always try a new flavor but their best is the birthday cake with strawberry and cookie dough fix ins. Any way recently(yesterday April 28th at 5) the service was horrible. It was cold in Cstat so it wasn’t very busy yet the girl looked at me and just rolled her eyes. Like«ugh I actually have to work for once today» she gave me a small amount of ice cream considering the big waffle bowl I purchased. She swiped my card and that was it. No have a good day no nothing! I left the empty place with a sour taste in my mouth. Will I go there again… Probably it’s the only marble slab in college station. But I highly suggest hiring more enthusiastic people. I might try a new ice cream place in town because of this

This is my absolute FAVORITE ice cream place in college station. The ice cream is super smooth and creamy, there is a great variety of flavors, and there is the option of unlimited toppings/mix-ins. The ice cream is home-made which is neat. It is a bit pricey for ice cream but nothing too crazy. The owners always seemed to be constantly changing but I think the current owner has stayed the longest yet and he seems pretty good. I used to always get chocolate swiss(sometimes I’ll ask for birthday cake or sweet cream on the side) with whipped cream. Now I usually get chocolate birthday cake with whipped cream. Sometimes I’ll switch it up with the flavors. I only wish there were brownies as a mix-in option. Four stars for the price.

Nothing good to tell, nothing bad to tell. Just a regular ice cream place. The cones were quite good but not spectacular. The music was too loud.

I love the Marble Slab chain but this location really disappointed me. First and foremost, the student employees I encountered twice are rude! My husband and I came in and the long dark haired girl had a nasty attitude and the other girl employee laughed about it. Didn’t help that they had vulgar rap music playing as well as small hoochie shorts on. I am a fair reviewer, kind, and patient person but in all honesty, nobody is going to put up with feeling like your not welcome in an establishment. Felt like I was in an ice cream Nazi place like the soup Nazi on Seinfeld! You would think that it would be a family place where parents feel comfortable bringing their kids but I do not allow my family to listen to swearing thus I will not be bringing our children there. The ice cream may taste good and sweet but a sour attitude makes the experience a bitter one. 2 stars only b/c I like the ice cream made by Marble Slab. You lose stars b/c of your rude employees, horrible music, and portions that are inconsistent with price.(Maybe the girl just didn’t like me).

So it’s a similar version of Cold Stone Creamery. Which in turn gets a similar amount of stars. I had created my own ice cream and it came out okay. I’m not the biggest fan of this style of ice cream. I’m more so interested in the original parlor style ice cream which sadly has faded over the years. Nevertheless this place is okay for a change from an traditional type ice cream treat. Happy fooding.

This location has been through SEVERAL owners over the past 5 years… and it has shown in inconsistent service and hours. However, in the past year and a half, they have had a new owner that finally«stuck» and it has made a difference. The employees are happy, the place is clean and they seem busier. Of course the new unlimited mix-ins promotion is helping… but i think a lot to do with Marble Slab’s renaissance in BCSTX has to do with Chi’s being there and taking care of his team so they can take care of customers. Last visit, they did everything right and I left wanting to come back.

Good ice cream but alittle expensive for broke college students lol The working staff def could be better! When i entered the store I received no welcome and had to look at the menu with no «What-can-i-get-yous» or «How-can-I-help-yous» lol being alittle friendlier to the customers wouldnt hurt haha

He said unlimited fixins yall. I was like bro, I’m on a diet! Fresh Home-made slow churned ice-cream, melts in your mouth. None of that Yogurtland bullcrap, this is Grandma’s doing here yall. Ice-Cream Cakes, Sweet-Cream, Double Dark Chocolate with Reese’s A++. Also, as much candy toppings that will fit! Semi-expensive, but it’s so worth it. Gluten-Free Choices Available.

I hadn’t had Marble Slab in a very long time, but was craving some Maggie Moo’s(which sadly disappeared a long time ago…) so I decided to give Marble another try. The ice cream was phenomenal and left me wanting more. However, the prices just don’t seem worth it.

What can I say? I’m a huge fan of this chain. I was very disappointed with this location. I walked in and there were two girls working. One of them, who I think was the server, said hi and then walked away. The other one turned up the radio which was blaring some very heavy r&b. When I say heavy, I mean explicit and she was rapping along. I did not know who to ask for samples so I decided to just venture and pick something, pay, and get out ASAP. The first girl came back and I told her what I wanted. She started making it. The other girl was in and out the whole time and kept turning the radio station up and rapping along. If it wasn’t for the fact that the facility sells ice cream, which is equivalent to love in my book, I would have given them 0 stars. Will I come back? Absolutely not. There are so many other ice cream options in CS, this is not worth the horrible service for me.

Better ice cream than Cold Stone, but still not a huge fan of granite stone ice cream until mix-in prices come down. My ice cream was good(had ice cream cake with kit-kat mix-ins). My wife’s has chocolate with raspberry mix-in and surprisingly the raspberry overpowered the flavor. Still a price place, plus only had one worker working on a Sunday at a busy time, so it took a while to get our ice cream. Until mix-in prices come down, I still like frozen yogurt places with unlimited mix-ins better. Still a lot of money for what you get.

Totally excellent iced cream. While the neon sign in the window does state«Home Made Iced Cream»(see our photo), you realize how serious they are when you taste it. One of our favorite desert chains.
