Definitely a meat eater’s paradise. Caution: The odds of leaving with a massive case of diverticulitis are 2:1. You may want to mix in a salad when here.

I have never been to a steakhouse like this before. But was in Miami last year for the 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise. We went here on a Friday night. And it was packed. What a nice place. Super friendly and welcoming staff seat you. You get like a bottle of wine per person or something. Wonderful Salad Bar. Then you go get your meat from the grill. They have several types of meat, steaks, pork chops, chicken breast. And its all you can eat. I went back several times. They serve you french fries with your steak, which I thought was cool but rather odd. For your money, you cannot go wrong with The Knife. Very reasonable. Was like $ 65 for 2. There are several locations in and around Miami. The Coconut Grove location was where I ate. I liked this place. I hope to go back to Miami soon and eat at the Knife ! :)

Went there for a business lunch during a convention in Miami. $ 19.99 for lunch I think it also includes soft drinks and up to 2 draft beer. Price was right. They had a very nice salad bar and a pretty good antipasti bar. Now the Meat Buffet part — I have to say upon seeing all the meat on the grill with the black charcoal, it turned off my appetite a little. However the meat did taste good. Also they can probably do a better job with veggies. I am just not a big fan of over grilled peppers or corn on the cobs. Served the purpose for the business lunch, everyone got what ty

Another one bites the dust. I never thought it was that good anyway. Even with the low cost, there was something off about the place and now it’s history. My suggestion is instead of trying one of the other locations, better to spend a few extra dollars and go to Texas de Brazil and have a quality all-you-can-eat-meat dinner.

This is a really great place — and a great value — given that you get an all-you-can steak buffet. It is ¼ of the cost of the Texas de Brazil. The meat is expertly grilled, even if the cuts are not always those that are popular in the US. Beware that the wine that is included free in the $ 50 dinner for two is actually really bad — hence one star off.

I dined at your Coconut Grove location Saturday, October 23, 2010, and had the worst dining experience ever. My boyfriend and I, both not big meat eaters, were invited to meet 5 other friends for a birthday celebration. Ahead of time, we called to see if there was a «salad» only option(no meat from the grill) and the woman who answered the phone said yes, and the price would be $ 20.95, instead of the $ 29.95 regular price. We felt great that there was such option and decided to attend. We were the first to get there and notifed the waiter we were going to have the«salad option». He asked who I spoke to, and I did not get the name, and he said it would be «fine». He was also hard selling the non-house wine, and suggested the wine that comes with the dinner was not good. We had all been there many times before and thought it was just fine and drank it. When the bill came, we only saw one charge at $ 20.95 and the rest at full price. We immediately brought this to the waiter’s attention who then had the manager come over to explain that it was an «exception» and only one could be applied to the table. There was also only 6 of us eating while a 7th member just came by the restaurant to wish the birthday person a «happy birthday», and the waiter charged for the person who did not eat! We called the waiter over again to tell him, and he initially agreed. He then brought the manager over who said she had to charge for him and the waiter lied saying that he ate and drank. I have never in my life experienced such a thing. If the«salad option» could only be made for one individual, that should have been explained upfront and there were 2 opportunities to do so: during the phone call made ahead of time and/or when the waiter was notified that 2 people were not going to have meat. Also, I have never heard of such a thing where a person who did not eat got charged. The waiter had the moral obligation to explain so if that was the policy. Many years ago, I worked and managed a restaurant myself for 7 years and would never do such a thing to patrons. I have gone to The Knife many times, bringing out-of-town guest, bringing clients, going for group parties, etc., but never again. All six of the other folks at my table agreed. Very sad, because all of us go because we enjoy the food and it was(before thought) such a great value. No more. What a huge disappointment.

Great food. Can be rather crowded, but liveliness and enjoyable atmosphere makes up for it.

You had us at «all you can eat steak». My gf heard a bottle of wine per person, so our wolf pack of four travelled here for an early dinner. We got the lunch special at $ 20.95 and still received a full bottle of wine per person of their choice. Their Sangria is bottled and if you wanted fresh fruit, it was an additional $ 10. The meat is tender, but different than other cuisine I have. It’s a little more on the bland side or way too salty. Their salad bar has endless options, but fill on their meat for the most bang for your buck.

I wasn’t blown away by this place, but I think that’s because my first encounter with an All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet was at Texas De Brazil on South Beach. I wasn’t very impressed with the salad bar, and the desserts are horrible. But the meats are amazing, and so are the mashed potatoes they give you! Also, it’s pretty awesome that a bottle of wine is included in the price of the dinner(about $ 30 on a weekend night). I would definitely go back if a meat craving were to strike again.

ever felt like you just died and gone to heaven? this place is heaven sent. i knew argentinian cuisine was spectacular but this was CRAZY! pros: –opened spaced latin styled restaurant with patio seating. –comfortable seating –on the house hot warm mollejas(sweet bread) and empanada(meat pies) were provided to us as starters. –a bottle of wine of your choice PER person –sides of your choice(fries, mashed potatoes, or rice) –we couldn’t decide on the sides so they gave us two orders of each! –all you can eat steak, ribs, chorizo(pork sausage), sweet corn, morcilla(blood sausage), goat, lamb, salmon, intestines, etc. hot off the grill from the kitchen –wide assortment of salad bar delights and greens(eggplants, squashes, zucchini, eggs, etc) –a choice of any type of desserts from their dessert kitchen(tiramisu, flan, rice pudding, profiteroles, etc.) –all for only $ 26.95!!! –impeccable service. They were at our beck and call and served us happily throughout our 3 hour stay there. –20% off entire meal JUSTBECAUSE –all for $ 26.95! cons: –too many choices…:) Nothing like eating outside on the patio with the backdrop of the rain/thunderstorm with GREAT company and DELICIOUS food and wine to top off a NIGHT. :)

OK Let me start with telling you this is a ALLYOUCANEATMEATBUFFET!!! This place is awesome I recommend you to go to this place with an empty stomach because you are going to want to eat everything they have to offer. You have a lot of salads in the middle and then on the side there is a big grill where that have all types of meats all made Argentine style. Then after you are done stuffing your face with the meat and salads you have dessert that is included with the meal. This place is the best for meat loves like me I recommend this place 100%!!!

We were very unhappy. No exaggeration here –we tried 4 different selections of meat, going back twice after the first attempt. You literally couldn’t cut the meat with the knife, it was so tough. The overall quality was very, very poor. I left before finishing the meal — my jaw was sore from chewing through gristle. I wouldn’t go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

love this place! picture buffet, but on a much larger scale. you basically pay approximately about $ 25.00 per person(depends if you want your meal to include beer, wine, etc…), then go and select what you want to eat. there’s a salad bar in the center, with a variety of fruits, veggies, dressings, condiments, etc. off to the side, there’s an entire wall taken up with flattop grills & char grills, where there are about 2 guys cooking tons of different kinds of meat. you go to the grill, select a little metal tray, and tell them what kind of meat you would like, chorizo(sausage), entraa(sweet breads), churrasco(skirt steak), etc., there’s really tons to choose from, and how much you would like, and once you’re done, you simply get up and go get some more. i love argentinean food, love a great asado, and most places you go to will run you about $ 20 for an «asado plate», which usually says it serves 2, but is really for about 1, so you really can’t beat this place, as you can eat as much as you want and it’s reasonably priced. service is decent, somewhat irrelevant, as you serve yourself, it’s great to sit outside(if the weather allows), talk, drink, and eat with some friends & family. i only wish that the chimichurri(a kind of marinade/dip) portion was a little larger. =) will be back each time i’m in miami.
