Denny’s

Not a very clean place. Dirty finger prints all over the glass on the doors. I never feel welcomed or appreciated when I go here. But when it’s the nearest place (walking distance) and I’m starving unfortunately this was my only option. My advice to the manager“tell you cashier to be nicer and your servers to smile and be friendlier. Then locals such as my self and family would more likely return :(

Looking for good breakfast? Stay away from this Danny’s. Food was good but they were piling everyone into one little section, making people wait while there were 15 tables open.
Hostess didn’t even know what tables she could use. Loud environment and long wait for some pancakes and small omelette.

Moons over my Hammy is very good. Hash browns are a little greasy but maybe that’s what give them some flavor. Service was good. Blueberry pancakes were also very good.

Ate at Denny’s 5 days out of the 7 days I was vacationing at Cocoa Beach… service and food was great each time. Especially enjoyed the Waiter who had the «hidden stock of fresh coffee» really nice waiter and all about the customer!!!

At first I was impressed with the service at Denny’s. It just keeps going down hill. We come in whe it’s virtually empty and we sit for such a long time waiting for drinks & to have our orders taken. I’m currently sitting, waiting for my food that has been under the heat lamp for 10 minutes so far. There is only 2 other tables in here. There is no excuse. I’m so disappointed. The server constantly forgets about us when we come in. I don’t want to come back. This is ridiculous.

Waitress was awesome and was bringing us pitchers of water that were greatly need Neoral 5 sunburnt girls. I ordered the veggies breakfast skillet and it was not the best. I was starving so I ate the whole thing but it was very greasy and not evenly cooked. Only reason this place gets 3 stars is because the waitress was so nice.

We had a wonderful breakfast at the Cocoa Beach Denny’s restaurant. I had a hearty 2 egg omelet with loads of great al dente veggies, delish! My husband had the same breakfast as I did but with 3 eggs. My mom had the two eggs sunny side up with bacon, again, done to perfection. The service was great, the server most attentive and the price was right. We’d go back again for breakfast for sure!

Been calling for take out the latest few Friday’s and they seem to be unable to answer a phone. If I wasn’t craving a grand slam burger I would eat else where. Pick up your phone!

Ive never once written a Unilocal review, but i felt like i had to. First off we had to wait an hour and a half go get our food. Then, the food was of course cold and undercooked. My water tasted like tap water, I had to request a bowl of lemons to squeeze into my water just so it would be bearable to drink. The only thing that I can’t complain about is our waiter. She was kind and funny.

I wish I had read the reviews before we came but we assumed since it was Denny’s we’d be fine. Unfortunately you know what happens when you assume! The empty parking lot at 5:30 should have been our first clue. The un-​bussed tables was another clue. Our party of 7 was seated promptly but that was the only thing that was prompt. Once we finally did receive our food we had to ask for silverware
which the waitress never brought — finally my sister got it herself. When we got our check two items were priced incorrectly which we pointed out to the waitress. She told us we were wrong (we weren’t and our check was fixed when we paid at the register). Oh, and the food was very mediocre. We will definitely NOT be returning.

This is the worst Denny’s I’ve been to. Service is extremely slow and employees are very grim acting. No smiles, no excitement. The table next to us had been there for 30 minutes and we got food before they did. Not to mention it took about 30 minutes for ours as well. It needs a complete overhaul. Food was edible.

The food is what you would expect from a Denny’s: truck stop food. The service is terribly slow. It shouldn’t take an hour to make pancakes and eggs…

Terrible service and the food was nasty. It took our food 45 mins to get here to find the pancakes undercooked.

Wow!!! What a filth! We left! Close this Denny’s down! I can’t believe how low and disgusting this place is!

I Rate this dennys on a dennys scale. So from one to five stars I give this place a three. I have been to better dennys but I have also been to worse.. The best thing about this dennys is its alot less busy than other breakfast or diners in cocoa beach. On a funny note this dennys was once closed from 10 pm to 6 am for about a year. Was a very slow dennys and could not get people to come all the way to the beach just to sit all night. Funny. Dennys is dennys and this one is ok.

The place is a complete hit or miss but has been more of a miss as of recent. Incredibly slow service but I give them credit where due… when you do get your order it is generally correct and food quality is good. The place tends to get really dirty because it is understaffed. Small town situation where there are limited late night options and they tend to get slammed at random times. I do continue to dine here though because like I said, the food quality is usually good.

This place should have remained CLOSED! I first came in three years ago. It was just OK… a pretty typical Denny’s. The waiter was a fun guy and the service and food were fine.
The following year we came back and had an AWFUL experience. The same waiter was there, however he wasn’t on his game. The restaurant was disgustingly FILTHY.
They messed up our orders, the food was BAD. We asked for the manager. This little scrawny guy came out from the back and asked what was wrong. He was so inept. He had no people skills whatsoever. He eventually scurried back into his little office in the back and went into hiding again.
When we left we said we’d never go back, and thought the place probably wouldn’t make it.
Sure enough, last Spring when we came down, it was CLOSED! We were not at all surprised.
However, this Spring we were STUNNED to see it has reopened, and there is a big banner sign stating, «Now Hiring!» The sign should say, «Now Hiring New Manager!»
We unanimously agreed NOT to give it another try.

One star is way to good for this place. They give a new definition to the words «slow and service». Waited a long time for service, then a long long time for food, «two hamburgers and frys».
There were about 4 wait staff, 4 people working in the kitchen and about 12 customers. Then after the wait they brought the wrong food. Said they were out of what we ordered.

I feel bad for the staff as they seem to be undermanned. Our waitress was also the busboy and cashier. I’ve never been to a dirtier Denny’s. The floor was so slippery that I had to tiptoe to the bathroom only to find it was disgusting too. Now I know why there is always parking here. The locals know better.

I try to lead with a positive in my reviews, so I’ll say, it’s easy to find and there’s enough parking but I can see why this location only has a 1.5 average review rating.
The food was bad, the cashier had a terrible attitude and they’re either understaffed or can’t handle less than full seating on a weekday.
I’m generously giving it 2 stars because they offer free Grand Slams on Veterans Day if you have your ID.
