There is so much competition for sushi, they really need to step up their game. The rolls were good but they could be better, my eel roll was missing the eel sauce and the roll should have had avocado. These omissions are really unforgivable. The pad thai was tasty, but the best thing about it was the serano peppers pickled in fish sauce(ask for the hot sauce, they bring an assortment of chili powders, pastes and these pickled serano chilies) which really elevated the dish. The staff makes this place enjoyable, they are always super friendly.

We are locals and Siam orchid is one of our favorite places to eat. So we thought it would be fitting that they cater our wedding. It was absolutely amazing! They went beyond to make our special day even more special. Everybody is still talking about the food and the large sushi boat. And even as amazing as the food was the staff was so even better. They were so accommodating and made us feel soebial. Thomas, Aam, and Sam are top notch people and we are so thankful for their generosity. So if your looking for great sushi and service Siam orchid is the place to be!

We had a one night stay at the La Quinta prior to our cruise and were happy to see that this place was right next door. I Unilocaled the Siam Orchid and when I saw it had 4 stars, we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Pad Woonsen and Basil Noodle dishes, both hot. The Basil Noodle was good and the Pad Woonsen was excellent. We were very pleased with our dinner.

The staff is always super friendly and attentive. This is my favorite place for sushi. I’ve had the Thai dishes several times and they’re good as well, but the sushi is what I crave here. I also love their private party room which is perfect for birthday dinners. If you live in the area, chances are you’ve been to a party there.

Don’t be deceived by the fact that it’s in a strip mall next to a hotel. The people were all very nice, service was great, and the food was delicious! We had a shrimp tempura roll, which was fresh and tasty, wonton soup which had fresh veggies, age tofu which was just ok, and the tofu soup, which was excellent. We will definitely be back. :)

This place is next door to La Quinta hotel. The sashimi and makimonos are ok but nothing special. I did enjoy they tom yum shrimp soup — very fresh and clean flavors. They do have many different cold sakes to try. Service is good. I would come again and maybe try their thai dishes.

Don’t be fooled by its location connected to a hotel, this place is both delicious and affordable. Great sushi and Thai offerings though I usually opt for one of the combination specials. You can’t beat the lunch deals either. Come hungry as portions are big. When I order to-go combos expect leftovers.

Conveniently located near the hotel inn, it is a good option for Thai and Japanese food. You can either dine in or do take out and bring it back to your hotel room. I don’t know if they will deliver to your room if you are staying there. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu offers everything from Pad Thai to Rainbow Rolls. Taste wise it’s not bad and you really don’t have many options for Asian food in the Cocoa Beach/Port Canaveral area. Locals love this place for its exoticness! Overall I thought it was good. Nice choice for Asian food when you’re limited in choices for Asian cuisine. Most people who are in town for the cruise usually stop by here, it’s better than most of the other places so definitely check it out if you’re in the area. My Recommendations: –Thai Tea –Basil Fried Rice

Although there were only two waitresses serving the whole restaurant, food came out within appropriate wait time. I had fried broccoli and tofu in brown sauce. The sauce was very salty! My husband had red curry tofu and veggies that did not at all taste like curry! The vegetables were fresh. Overall, maybe another visit would provide improved results.

I live in Fort Lauderdale where most restaurants serve some version of «sushi». This restaurant in Cocoa Beach was so refreshing because not only were the rolls inventive, they were fresh and tasty. The portion sizes were very generous which is also great! Nothing is more aggravating then paying $ 15 for a roll and getting 5 pieces. If you’re in the area and want some sushi… Go for it!

«It’s my birthday!» Anywhere you want to go honey, it is your birthday after all. She chose Siam Orchid. For it being Thai and Japanese cuisine, we couldn’t quite figure out why Siam was in the name, as that is Chinese, but we didn’t let this deter us. The staff seemed unsure of where to seat us, but was very friendly upon our entrance. We were given a moment with the menu, and ordered our drinks. Water and iced chai tea for myself, sprite for her. From a can that was opened for her at the table. We ran up quite a bill from there. 2 appetizers,(spring rolls, and tiger tears,) a soup,(tom yum going,) pad lo mein with chicken, 2 special chef rolls,(super crunchy roll, & sea of love roll,) and 2 desserts.(We really meant to order one, but we decided that if they mis understood, that we would gladly take 2.) The food was great, fresh, flavorful, and the specialty rolls very well made, with fantastic presentation. Sadly, the reason I have not awarded them with 5 stars is because of the dessert. The green tea ice cream had an after taste that led me to believe that it was freezer burned, and is was served covered in chocolate syrup, and whipped cream. The fried cheesecake, apparently was completely frozen prior to frying, which is understandable, but the center was still rock hard, and apparently they ran out of spoons, so I was forced to use a fork,(I prefer the fork anyway,) but it also came smothered in whipped cream and chocolate. I recommend the food, but maybe dessert is better had elsewhere.

Kind, prompt service? Check! Clean facility? Check! Reasonably priced? Check! Tasty Sushi? Check! Fantastic sushi rolls with many creative choices. The food was incredibly fresh, melted in your mouth and truly delicious. My one and only complaint: My husband and I are accustomed to ordering a la carte items from a long list of 2 piece per order nigri. Orchid does not offer this. The combo options do come with plentiful pieces and a roll BUT you do not get to choose what you would get. You are simply told it comes with 12 – 16 pieces of sushi and 4 – 6 sushimi. When I go for sushi, I want to choose what I get. Other than that, the food was spectacular. Sude note: my husband feels the price is a little high for not having a choice but agrees with the rest :-)

This is my favorite sushi bar in Brevard! The owners are a wonderful family who run several places between Cocoa Beach & Melbourne. They always notify me when their uni comes in fresh & they have made several custom rolls for me that they perfect! Their fish is always fresh, their rolls are beautiful, their sashimi is high grade, and their service is wonderful! They are efficient, kind, attentive, yet not over bearing. They wait patiently for the right time to speak without interrupting their guests conversations at the table, and they are always quick to fix any mistakes(if they even make one!) I wouldn’t go to any other sushi bar around here. Everything else is sub par!

If you love seafood, then the Toyota Roll is a good bet. It was outstanding, in our opinion! Be Siam Orchid Roll was also very good — but it couldn’t compare to the Toyota Roll. Personally, the music taste and the music volume was not our first choice, but we enjoyed our time here nevertheless. The staff was very friendly and very outgoing. Also, this place is super clean and the prices were quite reasonable for all that you get.

Siam Orchids is a nice place. But my family found it very loud and crowded. We had to wait to be seated for about 10 minutes. We had to wait a loooong time to order our food. Once we finally ordered we had to wait another half hour. Food quality was very good. Had sushi and fried rice. BUT, they did not honor the Unilocal checkin offer for a free beer. Disappointing. It is a nice place but would be better if calmer and honored their discount.

Excellent sushi and reasonable prices. I ordered the Toyota roll — was great. Companion ordered the Beauty and the Beast roll — also good. Service was prompt — we ordered crab ran goons for an appetizer — they were very tasty. Don’t over look this place! Well worth a stop!
