Subway

Like any other subway but a little below average. Place is okay and sandwich tasted good. Nothing special about this place.

A decent alternative to the less healthful fast food places along I-​5.
This Subway is basically a small storefront inside of a Shell convenience store. The two ladies working here were friendly and sweet.
Footlong subs are priced at $ 6 – 7, though today on Christmas Day it seemed like they were having an unannounced sale. My footlong Oven Roasted Chicken (normally $ 7) rang up at $ 6.75, and the wife’s footlong Meatball Marinara (normally $ 6) rang up at a low $ 4.
As I found out later, Subway had announced this sale on Meatball Marinara subs for the month of December. Too bad this place lacked signage announcing the promotion.
Still not sure why my Oven Roasted Chicken rang up cheaper. Merry Christmas?

THE best veggie sandwich Monkey ever had on the road! If you don’t have the time to sit down across the street and gotta keep moving, this is for you.

Clean but understaffed.

After a ride through hwy 33, a pleasant stop to refill everything. Friendly and fast. The outdoor seating right next to the parking lot sucks. Better off eating in the car or the next rest stop. Better off experiencing some place in Taft for the cultural experience as well as being more quiet.

They were out of most of the stuff — only white bread and no veggie patty. I’m sure its an ok subway, but something to consider before going here. there are other restaurants down the road.

The staff, especially the manager, are so rude that I’d rather starve than stop by this place on my trips between norcal and socal. She told me that Subway Cards have all be discontinued and will no longer be accepted, which is UNTRUE, according to Subway’s website. Subway’s website customer service is awful as well. There isn’t even a phone number to contact them with, and the email responses are so unhelpful they may as well be computer-​generated.

A good option for lunch versus all the crap fast food on your trip between from norcal and socal.
