I just went there Friday, have gone many times, and it is the old style taco stands like you would find in Mexico. The food is the best you will find in Clovis.

Just like grandma use to make. Affordable, freshly made authentic Mexican food.

best authentic Mexican in town. Forget the chains like Bobby Salazar, this place is flavorful and reasonable price. Had a big burrito and a couple of tacos. Great flavor. Definite repeat.

I can’t believe we found this gem! We love their food and they have great prices! You can take your food to go or you can stay and eat there. We will continue to eat here and this will be our go to place for authentic Mexican food in Clovis! The staff are very friendly and polite and it gives you a real feel of Mexico. This is overall a great place, love it!

Sometimes Ill pick up a burrito here after golf, ect. However I find myself grabbing a pound of asada and some small tortillas and making my own tacos. I throw together a quick pico, toss the meat in my cast iron on my gas grill and have my own little taco party with whoevers over. Good seasoning on the asada and good prices. Also walking distance from home. Customer service may not be the best, but they look me in the eye, don’t screw up my order and that’s all I really want. You don’t have to go over the top for me, just give me the product, I give you the money and we are good.

This is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve found in Clovis. Nothing about this place is Americanized like canned salsa or tasteless meats. The meats are marinated and savory, the carne asada is just crisp enough, and their sopes one of my favorites are so delicious. Yes you don’t get 5 star service, but when you come to these types of places you never do its to be expected. The workers are just doing their job and politely take your order and your payment. The only reason I’m giving them 4⁄5 stars is because they close at 7pm which is way to early! :(i wished they’s stay open at least until 8 pm so i can make it after work.

Easily the top taco spot around Clovis. This is a typical San Joaquin valley style Carniceria. They got the meat market right next to the grill and Mexican soap opera’s are always playing on the TV. No fancy dining service here, just perfectly marinated meats all cooked with real animal fats. I’ve tried every type of taco and love it all but today had the Asada and Adobada. Both excellent. I smother the bad boys in their homemade salsa, squeeze on some fresh lemon, add a little extra hot sauce and take a chunk out of grilled jalapeño with each bite and honestly it’s heaven. I could eat a dozen but limit my intake to 4 along with an ice cold Grapefruit Jarrito! I may be a gringo but this gringo knows what’s good!

Best burritos this side of the Mission! This is an authentic taqueria not a tasteless imitation. The food is fantastic. The only menu board tells you what kind of meat choices you have and what they can make for you — burrito, taco, tostada, sopes, torta etc. So far the burritos are my fav but the sopes were excellent too. Recommend the adobada, barbacoa and asada. Run by a very nice family. Try it!

Food was good I order menudo and fresh corn tortillas authentic Mexican flavor. And tacos only thing didn’t like was the tacos with cabbage other then that it was good. Flavor it’s good. It’s a small place but clean and good. If you order to go I think it’d better. I went on a saturday. Had to wait but was worth it. Definitely recommend

I plan to give this place another try and really hope it rates more than 2 stars next time. I couldn’t find a menu when I entered, just a board with the types of meats and types of foods(burritos, tortas, etc.) but no prices. Where are the menus hidden? I ordered to go — posole, chile verde burrito, and carnitas burrito. I don’t know what they gave me but it definitely was not carnitas. Not even close. Disappointment #1. The posole tasted good but there were quite a few bone shards in it, not a pleasant surprise. Disappointment #2. The chile verde burrito was good. Total for the 3 foods plus 2 sodas and tax was about $ 22.

This place is closest to authentic Mexican food that I have found in Clovis. The Pasole is on point! They only serve pasole on the weekends. The carnita burritos are my favorite. The beans are delicious. I go often to pick up a side of beans to go with breakfast or dinner that I’ve prepared at home. My friends & family complement every time how good the beans taste.

This place is great, everything! Very authentic meat choices from chile verde and chile colorado, to adobada, lengua and tripas. The tacos are amazing and the burritos are my favorite. It’s right by work so sometimes I find myself eating here 2 – 3 times a week! Don’t read into the ambiance too much, it’s a taqueria and a damn good one at that!
