The Cookie Factory

Pleased that the Cookie Factory has a local to me location. I have not been disappointed with any bakery items I have purchased. I love the chocolate iced cookies and the tiramisu cup cakes. It’s becoming my local go to bakery. Prices are ok and not as much as another bakery down the road from this location.

Well, here is a new location of the super Troy-​based bakery, opened last June. It’s sure nice to have The Cookie Factory’s cookies, cakes, cupcakes and baked goods in the Clifton Park area, but unlike a news article I read, this location does not offer the company’s full line of products. Instead, it is a satellite store that offers several of the company’s products, but not nearly all of them. I estimate that the store is 50% of the size of the Troy original. Still, that leaves plenty of delicacies to droll over.
The black and white cookies are soft and fresh and have icing on them, instead of the usual fondant and ganache. It makes for a delicate cookie, and is a style that is different than most of them downstate. It was great though. I also picked up an almond cookie with raspberry jam that was delectable. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. The place is yummy!
