Once again people who have no right being in business they are mean rude they think they are above anyone because of there 10 min on TV they are by far one of the worst tables I have waited on in my 35+ years in the business they want everything for free they complain about everything and expect a10% discount Everytime they come in and they barley tip 15% they have made other servers cry and while haveing diner they have children with them and they are doing shots of liquor and drinking and then getting behind the wheel drunk with kids in the car

Not my first trip to Coccadots, but my first trip today since I started Unilocaling! And I highly recommend dropping in for a cupcake if you’re nearby! There are tons of delicious flavors, I have never had one I don’t like! Plus they are all absolutely ADORABLE! the shop is cute, bright pink(my fav!), and very clean, the staff was friendly and polite. We chose 2 cupcakes, 1 each, only $ 5 total, which isn’t too bad, and we loved every bite! I can’t imagine what the cost of a whole cake for an occasion might be, probably expensive, but for a cupcake once in a while definitely check it out!

Came here for dessert today. Have been here several times in the past, and I enjoy it each time. I usually get the cookie sandwich which is amazing, but today I had cupcakes. Something’s to say is there is a big variety, but quite a few were sold out and we got there soon after opening. There was a lot of frosting on the cupcakes which is great, but I recommend not eating right after you buy it because they are in a cooler and the frosting gets really stiff. Pricing is average for bakeries in the area. I wish they had longer hours as well. This is a place I will continue to visit on occasion

My sister ordered a cake from here last year for a party. Apparently the cake orders for this shop and their Albany shop come into the same place. When she checked on the order two days before the party they told her the cake was being made in the Albany shop and there was no way they could send it to the Clifton park location(the location she originally requested the cake to be picked up in). We actually ended up having to order a cake from a different bakery all together and thankfully they were able help us out. We tried to get this bakery to work with us and were kinda surprised that they couldn’t have the cake delivered from the Albany location to the Clifton park one. Bottom line-don’t trust this place for your bakery/party needs,

I’ve been here twice. Both times I purchased a cupcake to share with my daughter. The cake part is very small and the frosting is piled high. I didn’t mind as long as the flavors are really good, but I rather buy cake and have a little frosting. I gave it 2 stars because the lack of cake you get and the flavors aren’t very strong. Both times the cupcakes were filled with tons frosting and piled high with frosting which left a thin layer of cake holding everything together. It really should be labeled as frosting not a cupcake.

Had a beautiful«Caillou» cake for my Goddaughter’s birthday. It was not only beautiful and artfully crafted but was also delicious. The frosting is not heavy and has just the right amount of sweetness.

Not good feedback from guests and was not what I expected for 50 dollars. Terrible customer service as well.

Beautiful, beautiful cupcakes. They are a little smaller, which is nice because it’s a little treat instead of an enormous dessert, and they don’t pile frosting on top until it’s more frosting than cake. They’re so pretty it’s almost a shame to eat them. I’ve always had a pleasant experience with the staff, and the location is really nice. It’s good to have a cupcake place in Clifton Park now.

I moved to Albany four years ago, and went on a cupcake hunt. I tried many bakeries in the Capital District, but sadly, none met my standard. I missed cupcakes from NYC’s Magnolia, or even Crumbs from Jersey City. It was either bake my own cupcakes(bah!) or drive down four hours back to the shore to get a decent cupcake. I had given up my search, until my boss came to work one day with a dozen cupcakes from Coccadotts. I found out where the bakery was, and over the following months, I made up random excuses to buy cupcakes – bought them for housewarming gifts, birthdays, and even for road trips. My favorite cupcakes are Sex In the City, Red Velvet, and Turtle. What I like about this shop is that they really pay attention to detail in regards to decorating their cupcakes. They have a good array of merchandise – both edible and nonedible – available throughout the day. I hate bakery or cupcakery shops that have empty shelves… no matter what time of day you come in, they make sure they’re stocked. You also can’t beat the quirky pink décor in the shop! My fiancée and any other male friend of mine think it’s absolutely ridiculous to pay $ 4 – 5 for an average cupcake piled high with frosting and edible glitter. Obviously they’ve never been through PMS. I happen to think though that there’s nothing wrong about making yourself feel good with a cupcake that looks pretty. My fiancée and I will just have to agree to disagree when it comes to cupcakes. Back to Coccadotts though… I am overjoyed that they opened another shop in Clifton Park. Now it will take me merely a few minutes to get my cupcakes, instead of having to make myself wait until I’m back in Albany for work or errands. Now when I just want to get some«me-time», I grab a cupcake from Coccadotts and a latte from MochaLisa’s café. It’s hard to stay away, so I balance it out by increasing my cardio time in the gym ;)
