I stopped over at East Palace Fusion Buffet for lunch today and they were closed. There was a notice from the local water department taped to the door saying they were overdue on on there water bill and the water was shut off. No water. No restaurant.

A worn out buffet restaurant with a large selection of stale food. Parking is easy in a big parking lot. Inside is spacious and there is plenty of seating. Service includes showing you to your table, getting you your drink order, and then taking away your used dishes. Like many other buffets in the area, the turnover of of food is just not enough to keep the food fresh. Eight dollars for the lunch buffet is a good price, but the food is stale and unappetizing. Go here only if you’re on a very low budget, but be prepared for indigestion later on.

The food here is AWFUL! They just keep stirring up dried up food that’s been in the steam table for hours. I’m surprised the health department hasn’t shut them down. Don’t know how they stay in business.

We were enjoying a family dinner when my daughter came back with some pudding for dessert. My daughter luckily did not swallow a piece of glass that was in the pudding. When we mentioned this to the manager the manager gave us attitude is if we put the shard of glass in the pudding. The crab Rangoon seemed like it was from last night and the same music kept playing over and over and over again. We will never go there again.

You get what you pay for. Agree with many reviews here. Tried it through groupon. The place is clean, well tables were. Silverware was not. Wait staff is attentive, courteous. I wouldn’t return. We went when it first opened on a Saturday. Menu was quite varied. Food was plain. Egg rolls were bad.

After using my Groupon to try something new, we will not be going back… Had to pay for 2 drinks and tax in the end… Service was horrible,(they never cleared our plates or gave us refills for drinks) food had been sitting around and had either been dried up or cold.

Sub par chinese food for those on a budget. Not worth the Groupon. Last time I eat here.

This was the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in! Unfortunately, I am required to rate this one star because zero is not an option

Barely makes a buffet. Better off not even stopping here. Staff has a careless attitude.

I have been here a couple times. The first time, my boyfriend and I took one look around the buffet and walked out. Everything was old and slimy, limp, brown, gross. Most of the pans only had a spoonful of something in them. The ONLY reason we decided to try it again was the Groupon deal, 2 for 12.49 without drinks. Possibly one of the worst decisions ever. Granted, it was 8:15pm. We tried to eat SOMETHING because they had already taken the Groupon. Again, everything was disgusting. The first thing I saw I thought was creamed spinach and the sign said Broccoli with Bacon. What?! Most pans had almost nothing in them, there were 6 shrimp. I thought, «I’ll do the Mongolian BBQ, at least it’ll be hot.» Except that all of the vegetables were brown and dried out for this too. They DID turn the grill back on for me to cook the noodles I wanted. That was pretty good of them and I very much appreciated it. There was really nothing else edible available. We tried a little of anything they had to see if it was ok. The spare ribs were rock hard, the rangoons were cold and hard, the teriyaki chicken was the same. All of this was enough for us to decide we’ll never come back but we weren’t really mad. When we told the server we were unhappy with the food she proceeded to tell us it’s because they’re closing. This sent us both into a mild rage. If the health department had been there they would have closed it down. You cannot serve hot food cold on a buffet. We paid the $ 5 for our drinks and left. Now we’re just praying we don’t get sick.

There are definitely better Asian buffets in the area. FOOD: The fare here is substandard. It’s edible, but it isn’t the greatest out there, and things like the crab legs are kept in water and become soggy and tasteless. The sushi could definitely use some work. SERVICE: In light of the subpar food, this restaurant’s service is its Achilles heel. I’m not referring to table side service as this is obviously a buffet. What I’m alluding to is the fact that the staff is very inattentive to the buffet itself. Often the bowls need replenishing, and equally as often the crab legs steam tray is empty. This isn’t this restaurant’s first rodeo, so they have no excuse for not thinking ahead. VALUE: Will you leave this place thinking that you got a lot for your money? Nope. However, you probably won’t leave thinking you got ripped off either. It’s adequate for what you spend. TLDR: If you’re on a time crunch, this buffet may suffice, but otherwise you’re better off driving to Albany where the buffets down there are much better.

Prior to eating I went to the bathroom. The bathroom was disgusting. It look as what to appear as vomit all over the toilet. They also had something gritty on the floor and a big fan heading to the bathroom. After that my appetite was pretty much shot. I tried to eat. What I are did not look or taste fresh. There was a table sitting next to me with his kids. They went up to get desert. The staff cleaned off the table while he was up there as if he had left. When it came to wanting to leave, no staff in site. We waited 40 min for our check. We actually had to go to the registrar to request it.

Decided to give this place a try, despite the terrible reviews, enticed by a coupon deal. While this is not a great buffet, it is far from terrible. There was a reasonable variety of items available in the buffet on a Saturday evening($ 12.50). Nothing was great but nothing was really bad. The snow crab was served under water(not steamed) and was warm but tasteless. The sushi items were OK but one always wonders how long these things sit out before you get there. Service was fine — the usual buffet style.

So bad I couldn’t WAIT to blast it online. CHICKENSUSHI is the nastiest thing I’ve seen in a long time. The rest of the food is crusted over, old, fried, and even the ice cream is lousy. Don’t waste your time or money here.

What can I say, it’s a sorf of asian buffet. Fusion does describe it since it is really not a chinese buffet as the food is really chinese american leaning more to american, think old country buffet quality. Food is average to somewhat below average… sort of bland and lacking flavor. Ok selection. If I happen to be in the area and the people I was with wanted to go there I would probably go along, but I probably won’t be going there on purpose or suggest it as a choice. I did not try the grill or sushi… maybe that’s their strength? General Tso was good and so was the Crab Rangoon. Place seems clean and pleasant for a buffet.

A lot of selection and a good bargain. The staff is friendly and the food is always fresh. Full selection of Chinese, Japanese, and desserts. Some American food too if you have picky kids.
