Outstanding place for what is clearly more than sushi. Took my wife there for anniversary and had sushi and apps. The place smelled great. It was clean. Friendly staff. Food was awesome. Décor for the season Christmas season. I could go on… We’ll be going back for sure.

We love Kimono. Very consistent and the waiters are always friendly and smiling. Great food (I always get the hibachi steak with sweet carrots, mushrooms and fried rice… drowned in yummy ship sauce… that’s how it’s done folks.
Give them a try if you want good Japanese food without the show and noise.

We love coming here for meals! I usually order hibachi steak with mushrooms. The kids’ meals are very generous. Kimono in Clemmons has great food and the food is served quickly! The waitstaff is also very friendly and courteous! The price is also very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food! The atmosphere maybe a little bleak, especially compared with the Country Club location, as it is located in a strip mall and has only the front doors for natural lighting. Personally, though, the staff and food is consistently better at the Clemmons location.

I had the hibachi chicken and the cream cheese wontons, both were very good. The location itself is nothing special and it is not a hibachi grill with the chef show, so if that is what you are looking for go elsewhere. But for getting some Japanese food and a pretty good price, this is a good place.

I like this place a lot! I always come here when I’m in town. It’s a bit above mall food court fare, but the quality of the meat is pretty good.
Also, so far the sushi has been decent. the teriyaki meals all come with a pink, creamy, sweet sauce… which I think is a bit of an overkill, considering the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce, but it’s tasty nonetheless. It’s a great place for take out.
I will be returning.

Awesome sushi and tempura! Lots of food and great service! Also have been there with a big group from work, so they also have this seating option available. Great variety on the menu! Cool place to spend lunch or dinner!

had some very decent Japanese food here over the weekend (Sunday)! Would definitely come here again in a pinch but can get more flavorful food at Ise (also in Winston area but closed on Sundays)!

The menu selections are pretty standard, but the food is awesome! The staff is very attentive and efficient. If you’re in the mood Kimono is well worth your time! I had the hibachi fish and was thoroughly pleased! Make sure to try the mustard sauce…
