Worst sushi you can ever have, it isnjot fresh either plus it takes forever to br8ng you the order. I only liked the other stuff like appeteziers and hibachi. The quantity are so small.

I like this place for several reasons: — The sushi is rolled when you place the order, not a typical buffet where you walk up to pre-rolled sushi. — Sashimi is part of the offering. I heart sashimi. I don’t want to fill stomach space with rice. — I also heart hibachi. Granted, the steak was way done and chewy, but I love that there’s a ton of onions in the veggies. And their rice, sticky goodness. — You can order a la carte or get the buffet. The food is above average, not excellent. The service was prompt, though I did feel a bit rushed. Good value for the price.

Endless but not forever. I guess the waitress thought we had enough. Flavorless for most foods. Soups are great. Good value. No spring rolls Visuals better than taste however rolls were wonderful and salad was fresh.

Today’s service was terrible. Ordered take out and not only was the person taking my order rude and nasty she made a big deal about me trying to order a side of avocado for my salad saying they don’t do that, seriously? I will not be returning here. The sushi has gone down hill, so had the service and not only that but charging $ 1 extra for cream cheese is a bit ridiculous don’t you think.

This all you can eat sushi place is a lot better than the one they have in Carrollwood. Tastes, ingredients preparation, mix of rice are better. I would said lunch has the best value here. We arrive on the early and seating is not a problem at week end. Through out the meal time, we still can see some seating is available on lunch. We have order the spicy tuna, rainbow, saki, Mexican rolls. The sushi includes escolar, surf clam, salmon. We also order some items from habachi and stir fried. The roll I like is the Fuji roll. It has spicy tuna and top with salmon and drizzle with eel sauce. The steak and shrimp hibachi is my favorite on the cook side. I also like the appetizer as Gyoza and the dessert with fried banana with chocolate dip. Overall the service is great. The food is attractive. The serving speed is acceptable.

We arrived Sat around 12 pm. It was easy to get a table. We ordered the items we like from the menu. The food came out at a normal pace. They tasted fresh and good. I had red bean ice cream at the end and it was very good. Overall we liked this Saki better than the one on Dale Mabry which we have been there once and got disappointed. The food here were more tasty. The service was great.

Sushi was ok. Hibachi was ok. The food poisoning was not. I’m pretty sure it was the sushi.

Really cool concept. All you can eat sushi but be careful you don’t order too much or you’ll get a bill for being wasteful!

This is my 4th visit here and it is consistantly good each time. The price went up $ 1.00 for lunch which is a small price to pay for the quality you get. My wife is Vegan and she has several choices based on her dietary needs. There are few places we both can go for lunch that has something for each of us. We will be back. Great place, nice staff and clean.

Okay… it’s ENDLESS!!! How can you lose? Well, easy. But not here! The sushi was awesome! The crab Rangoon was about the best I’ve ever had! Creamy, crispy, melts in your mouth and to die for! My only complaint-and it needs to be said and hopefully addressed… I ordered my steak rare. Really rare. The problem is they cut the meat into Such. Small. Pieces.(Insert feeding a baby meat for the first time here!) that it is impossible to get anything but well done. Well Done? Ewww. I just can’t do that. I need to hear the mooing. But… that’s MY personal preference, I wish their pieces were larger. My advice? GOTRYIT! Try everything! Just eat it all, so you don’t get charged for being a wasteful consumer! Or non-consumer, in this case! ;-D You will be sad if you don’t have the Crab Rangoon, believe me, MAJORLY bumming once you find out how yummy they are!

You get what you pay for. Good prices… Mehhhh sushi. Basically Publix grade sushi. Service was fine. Beware that many of the rolls are fried but are not indicated on the menu as fried. Also, all the rolls seem to be slathered in spicy mayo. Not exactly the healthy sushi that I love.

Saki is pretty good considering it is all you can eat, and they cook the food rather than you walking through a buffet line. We were thrilled that they have about 5 outside tables. That meant we could eat there with our dog sitting next to us, and not be inside the restaurant which in my opinion was loud and a/c’d like crazy. It was Christmas day, and there were not too many options of places open, so this was the place. We started off with a few options including salad, wonton soup, calamari, chicken tempura, and fried shrimp. The salad was my favorite because I love the ginger dressing. Afterwards, I picked out two rolls which were alright to me, but there was too much rice for me, so I had to go with the sashimi afterwards. I tried the salmon, tuna, and red snapper. The salmon and tuna were my favorite. We all ordered a hibachi dish afterwards. I picked steak and tofu. It came with veggies with a ton of onions which I don’t care for. I actually had the most steak on mine, while the rest of my family had small pieces on their plate, so I let them have mine. My meat was better while what they had was a bit tough. Dessert was the best. I just had ice cream, but I tried it with the tempura banana with whip cream and chocolate syrup. That was the cherry on top. So as in any typical place, there are some goods and some bads. I think out experience was pretty alright considering the price, service, and what was open.

If you feel like eating sushi and you just don’t care about quality then by all means try this place. This location is better than the one in Tampa. Skip the hibachi since the food is usually bland and nowhere near the quality of a place like Kobe or what Arigato’s used to be. Some of the sides we ordered were ok like the crab Rangoon and the lomein. I will probably still come back since I’m married to a man who has no flavor palette. It’s all about quantity and not quality for him so I’m sure I’ll be a repeat customer. It’s hard for a cheapskate to spend $ 20 on 2 rolls of quality sushi when you can get unlimited crap sushi and hibachi for the same price.

Saki AYCE sushi and hibachi restaurant really offers you a lot for your money. I highly suggest this restaurant if you’re looking for a fresh variety of rolls, sashimi, and hot plates. I ate here Saturday for dinner, and the restaurant was packed. I’m not sure if they take reservations, so be prepared to wait during peak hours. The way the AYCE works is the server takes your order and brings your food, but you can order anything from the menu, as all foods are included in the price. Saturday dinner was $ 18, which I felt was more than reasonable, considering that you have appetizers, soups, salads, hibachi, sushi rolls, and sashimi to choose from. I had the miso soup and hot and sour soup, which are single cup serving sizes. Both were tasty and flavorful. My table shared appetizers, like sautéed string beans, fresh wakame(seaweed) salad, krab Rangoon, fried dumplings… All of which I do recommend. They were freshly prepared and very tasty. We also had the fried scallops, which were just okay. They were very doughy, so I suggest saving your appetite for other menu items. The sushi rolls were all delicious! They each come with 4 – 6 pieces. My personal favorite was the Rock N Roll, which had shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and eel. They have like 30 different rolls to choose from, so all palettes will certainly be catered to. The only downside is that each order takes quite some time to arrive to your table. If you order too much but spaced too far apart, you might find yourself getting full before the rest of your order arrives. This is bad because they will charge you for any piece of sushi left over. I do suggest the table eating family style and sharing, and you’ll have a great dining experience!

Nice atmosphere. Waiter was very nice. We ordered spring roll and fried scallops. Roll was very light and very good. Scallops were also not greasy but very blend. The Sushi was great. Rainbow roll was wonderful. Did not like the Summer roll but that’s a matter of taste. Menu did mention that they would charge you 85 cents for every piece of specialty roll you did not finish so be careful not to order too much on your first round, though they did not charge us for our unfinished pieces which would have stopped us from ever coming back, so that was good. Overall, great experience and we’ll be back.

The Good: For $ 10.99 during lunch, you can eat as much sushi as you want. Don’t get this confused with a buffet, because you pick what you want from the menu, and they bring it out to you. Each time you want another selection, you have to order it from your server. You can choose any type of roll you want on the menu. The selection is awesome! I counted 31 types of sushi alone that you can pick from and that doesn’t include the Hibachi section(not included during lunch only diner). The food is the selling point for me but I’m also a fan out the semi-authentic Japanese décor and kimonos all the servers wear. They look a lot more comfortable than standard uniforms I see waiters and waitresses wearing. The Bad: It takes a while to get your food, especially when it’s busy. The wait time will be at least 10 minutes once you order your next plate. It’s somewhat understandable b/c they have to hand make each roll but it doesn’t make it any less annoying. I’ve found that it’s better to order plates things at a time due to the wait time. If you order one plate at a time, you’ll be looking at 30 minutes worth of wait time just for three items. The Ugly: Finding the place! It’s off highway 19 and there’s only one way to get to it. It’s next to Costco. It took me a couple tries to find it because it’s not in the main part of the mall area. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with this place. The sushi is a 7 out of 10 but you want try a bunch of different types. The service is good but slow. Once you consider everything, including price, it’s a pretty good spot for lunch or dinner, especially if you like Sushi and semi-authentic Japanese food.
