My favorite restaurant in Florida! It’s rare for beach restaurants to be clean but this place is CLEAN. The tables, chairs, place settings, always feel clean and new. Most beach places are greasy from the tables to the food. I so appreciate the quality of this place. It keeps me coming back. The food is SO good. I’m craving their big veggie burgers and the fries. Don’t get me started. So crispy and delicious. Great portions after getting hungry from swimming all day. The service is so knowledgable and quick. Refills are quick and you never feel neglected or a bother. You really don’t have to ask for anything because the servers are on top of everything. We stop in here every time we’re in Clearwater! I could sit on the patio all day long!

Always the palm cheeseburger and it was good again! Tried the salsa sampler and it was a great appetizer. Beach view and live music!

Had lunch here today and it was really relaxing, great scenery, great music, great food. Food itself wouldn’t rate 5 stars(although everything we had was really tasty) but it was just a combination of everything. There’s something magical about eating overlooking the ocean with cool breezes blowing, listening to great live music. Ian played songs that my 16 year old son knew and liked along with classics my husband and I enjoyed. I didn’t think the lunch prices were too high either. Would highly recommend trying them out… We will definitely be back.

Great view(if you sit outside or in the bar area), okay food, touristy. Prices a bit high for the quality of the food that you receive. My friend and I had a veggie burger with fries, a mushroom and bacon salad and a few beers. The food is average and the server did not mention any drink specials. There is live music here sometimes and it’s an easy place for people to get to from Clearwater Beach. The service was good and we received our food quickly and the server checked in regularly. The check came soon after we asked for it. If you would like to check out the health inspection of this or other Florida restaurants, go here:

They have outside seating & ac Indoor seating, live music, on the beach We asked for no cilantro on our fish & crab tacos & our waitress Lyn actually heard that request & brought my husband a taste of the crab & thank goodness she did because the cilantro was overwhelming & she recommended the shrimp burger which he loved. The bleu cheese fries– Amazing & the drinks are good. Fish tacos were good as well.

Sooooo over priced for the quality of food and drinks — cocktails, wine, beer, etc. Location, location, location. Nice sunset view. The live cover soloists are usually pretty good, but no matter where you sit IT’S TOOLOUD!!!

Always a fun place!!! No stress, hard to find a seat on the deck bars as that seems to be the popular places… Always had good food, and Bloody Mary’s! You can run around on the beach then get back to your table! Right on the beach is always cool too! A bit pricey, had a bunch of kids with me, we basically had a few snacks, the bill was over 80 bucks… I mean we didn’t have any dinners or whatever, but the atmosphere is worth it.

You cannot beat this view. It’s right on the beach, spectacular vantage for sunset, complete with clear shades they can draw across for cold or windy days. The service must be hit or miss, based on other reviews– everyone who we interacted with was super pleasant. The band that was playing on a Thursday night was a perfect fit for a casual beach bar, playing fun songs that everyone knows. The only downside was the volume — crazy loud! If the food and drinks were good, it’d be a perfect spot. They aren’t bad, just super mediocre. Bartenders are slinging sour-mix margs and dubious sangria. I don’t mind the occasional low-brow drink at a place like this, but it sort of kills me to pay big-city craft cocktail prices for stock mixers you pour out of a plastic bottle. The chicken tacos had zero flavor, but they weren’t inedible. The fritters app was fine(it’s hard to botch fried food). It’s all extremely similar to Frenchy’s across the way(maybe the same owners), but the wait is usually a little shorter here. Don’t expect fabulous food and drinks, but it’s worth a trip to Palm Pavillion to watch the sunset after a long day at the beach.

My husband and I visited here a couple of months ago. It was a decision between here or Frenchy’s. Next time we will definitely go to Frenchy’s. When we got seated it took a while for the waiter to get our drink order. I ordered the chicken tacos in a corn tortilla. The tacos were nicely presented but when I went to pick one up the filing fell out of the bottom. All 3 tacos did the same. I told the waiter and he came out with 3 new tacos… same thing happened. The waiter said that everyone who ordered the tacos had the same problem and had returned them. The problem is that they were using cold corn tortillas. You HAVE to do something to them. Either microwave them for a while or fry them. You would think they would know how to cook something that they have on their menu. I would say that the waiter was extremely nice.

Palm Pavilion is a restaurant that is situated a biting the sand of the lovely north-end of Clearwater Beach I have been to PP a few times and have enjoyed myself. On my visits I have appreciated the location/view, the outdoor patio, and especially the live music artists that play there. Every food item I have had off the menu has been decent, if not good. I find that the prices can be a tad on the high side. The service is always pretty good, with the servers being helpful and efficient. I like that this is a good solid option for dining on CWB as the food is good and atmosphere is great. I most enjoy the live music on the patio.

I love this place. The beach, the gulf, good food, sunsets, and fresh air. What more could you ask for? The food has always been fresh with great flavors. The service is usually fairly prompt due to them staffing well. I have had the fish tacos and the crab tacos. The tacos are pretty tasty but don’t come with a side. The grouper sandwhich is awesome and comes with some great fries. If you need hot sauce just ask! Excellent food, great service, cold drinks, and a fantastic view of the gulf with amazing sunsets. Highly recommended for visitors and locals who may not have been yet!

Loud music… like too loud. I was with a musician and he was complaining that the music was too loud. Food is nothing special. I had fish tacos. They lacked flavor. They were mainly slaw and grouper. It took forever to get a table. Service was not very attentive. The place was incredibly busy. It’s not a place I’ll go back to.

We were visiting Clearwater beach one day and decided to stop in here for a drink and snack. The food was decent, nothing special, but it was good. The drinks were really nice and they offered some good, unique«beach-themed» drinks. Kind of pricey though. Service was nice. Bartender we got was very friendly and smiled a lot, that helps! The view from this place is awesome too!

This is the ultimate beach experience for Florida-sitting with a boat drink in your hand, sand in your toes, and listening to Becca and the Bayou Boyz at the PalmPavilion! They sing a mix of 70’s, 80’s and some 99’s…with an occasional top 20 thrown in! Becca has an amazingly husky voice that can belt! She makes you laugh and always brings a smile with her funny quips and cute renditions of oh, so famous songs. I could listen for hours! It’s imperative to watch their Facebook page for the schedule because they do move around the area, but Palm Pavilion is by FAR my favorite because of the view, the breeze, the well poured drinks and the camaraderie of the crowd who are a mix of vacationers and locals who know how to relax!

This is a great venue for eating dinner while watching the sun go down. We went on a Monday night and the outdoor patio was packed. They had live good music, a guy and his guitar. I ordered the blackened grouper tacos, which were pretty tasty. The grouper was very fresh and the spices were piquant but not overwhelming. The slaw inside the tacos was nice and crunchy and a little creamy. I could have done with a little more spice though. I also liked the white corn tortilla option. My sister got the grouper cheeks basket and these were little pieces of fried heaven. Moist and tender and crispy and deliciously rich. The salsa trio with tortilla chips wasn’t worth the money… came with only a handful of chips. The prices are on the higher side, which didn’t quite match up with the quality of the food. It was good but not tremendous. You’re paying more for the atmosphere and view.

The atmosphere and live music was great, the staff was friendly and the food was hot and fresh. The next morning however anyone who had the fresh grouper(tacos and market meal) is now sick with some serious food poisoning. The waitress mentioned they recently changed chefs. Very disappointing for my family who are regulars there. We won’t be going back.

Winter in Rochester is horrible. Winter in Florida is much easier to manage. So when I found myself in Clearwater during a frigid January, I vowed to take advantage of as much nice weather as I could. After a good walk on the beach, it was time for dinner and Palm Pavilion was our choice for the night, thanks to Unilocal.Palm Pavilion will also go down in history as the place where we all tried gator for the first time. Who would have thought we’d expand our palates while watching football and enjoying the ambiance? Not me, that’s for sure. We decided to start with the gator bites as an appetizer on a lark. Between the three of us, we’d never really ventured too far out of our culinary comfort zones on a whole. Gator was one of those meats that I had no interest in trying because it never really struck me as a dinner option. I figured since the bites were fried and they came with dip, it couldn’t be too bad. You know how when someone tries a new meat, they always say something to the effect of «tastes like chicken»? Well, the gator bites tasted like tough chicken, like you’d really have to chew through the meat to avoid choking. And they were good! Florida seemed like the most appropriate place to try gator, and it truly was. I don’t know that I ever have to eat gator again, but now I know what it tastes like, thanks to Palm Pavilion. For dinner I chose the chicken tacos, since I’d had fish for lunch. The tacos were your basic fish tacos with chicken in place of the grouper. They were satisfying and messy, as all good tacos should be, but a little dry. I would have served a few lime wedges alongside the tacos just to even things out. The tacos were a great choice for a dinner that doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve just eaten a giant rock, they were light and perfect to eat while watching football on the giant screens. Thank you, Palm Pavilion, for providing us with a lovely dinner and a new adventure. If we find ourselves in Clearwater again, we’ll definitely stop by again, but not necessarily for gator bites, since we got that out of our collective systems. But if you’ve never had gator, this is a great place to try it out.

My fiancé and I went here for lunch twice. The service is excellent. The waiters and waitresses are extremely nice and pleasant. We had a drink here as well and they even were giving out free sandwiches for everyone at the bar. The problem is the food is not that great. I had a burger and the bun was stale. The nachos were decent and I also had a shrimp burger which I never have seen before and it was decent. All in all its a fun place to grab a drink and some bar food but the food really just leaves a lot to be desired. Frenchys is across the street, the environment is the same but the food is better. I would still come back here though.
