People need to take this for what it is… Not authentic latino food, but americanized, cheese covered, fast food… Nobody goes to Long John Silvers for sous-vide, wild caught, king salmon… They go cause they fry the sh*t out of everything and it tastes good… You want authenticity, go to Otherwise this is a good place to get a nacho cheese filled beef and bean burrito. On a side note, their chips blow, no amount of nacho cheese can fix them…

The food was disgusting. My husband and I both threw our food away when we got home. I ordered a fish taco. It was just a soggy square of fried fish that looked and tasted like microwaved leftovers from Long John Silvers. His pork tacos were cold and so wet. It was gross and their employees are rude… Like taking your order is some thorn in their side. We’ll never go again.

Food tasted bland and lacked the freshness that I’ve come to enjoy from chipotle. Employees didn’t seem knowledgeable about anything, and forgot to turn on the heat source under the food when they opened the store(an hour before I got there). Guacamole was the worst I’ve ever had anywhere— incredibly over-salted. The price and convenience of this place are the only things this place has going for it.

I love this place. When I’m looking for fresh food, but I don’t wanna spend 20 bucks at chipotle I stop here. The management is a little stingy about servings sometimes, but overall great. The punch card is awesome.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant for awhile and finally went Sunday after church. I will say the décor was awesome, with the surf boards and a overall beach theme. The food on the other hand needed work. I had the chicken verde burrito, a pork taco and chips and salsa. My wife had a fish taco and a pork taco. The pork tacos were tasteless and the pork was very wet from sitting in the heating tray in water and juices. It took over a minute before the tacos finished draining onto the plate before we attempted to eat them. The pork had almost no flavor from sitting in the water for so long leach any flavor out. The burrito was a bit better with their green sauce and black beans, but overall had very little flavor. The chicken was also shredded and sitting in a wet heating tray. The chips were the best part, but the salsa(pico de gallo) was not very good and Tasted like it was made days before. The tomatoes had little to no flavor. They would be better off having a salsa bar like El Pollo Loco and you get get salsa, cilantro, jalepano’s and other condiments. I hope these are all just growing pains and they fix these things as we need Mexican food here. I am from an area if the country where we have real Mexican food and there isn’t any here. Everything is Americanized. At least they didn’t put cheese sauce on anything like almost all the other Mexican restaurants in this area of the country.

Got food to go last night and glad I did. Got Loaded Chicken Nachos, 2 chicken soft tacos, and a steak taco salad. The nachos were to die for with their queso… looking forward to going back today and getting more nachos The chicken tacos were good, but their juice made my tortillas soggy. The steak taco salad was also pretty good. Definitely would go here again because the food was overall actually pretty great. A big plus was after 20 minutes of driving home and sitting down to eat the food was still hot!

Meh. Queso dip is orange nacho cheese. Like from a can. Chips are thick and dry. Basically it is glorified concession stand food. Barely glorified. Look…if you’ve ever been to a place that sells burritos and tacos on an assembly line, this is just like that… except that the ingredients are all second rate and disappointing. It is maybe a dollar cheaper than most of those places, but seriously… spend the extra dollar.

I have eaten at the one in Nashville which is Slightly better than this one. The service is SUPER nice, but the food is pretty weak. I really just like the chips and guacamole here, and the rest is pretty standard sad Clarksville inauthentic fare. Probably won’t be back :(

This is just like a Moe’s, or a Qudoba… if you’ve eaten at any of those. If not, this is basically a Mexican Subway. The idea is executed in the same fashion in picking out what you’re having. A taco salad, nachos, enchiladas, burritos, etc. They then ask whether you want it mondo or mondito. Mondo is the large size, which I’d you’re hungry then I recommend that choice. My friend and I came here starving and got mondo nachos and enchiladas, drinks for 12 bucks! What a deal! Where they get an A+ in my book is they allowed me to pour on the toppings without extra charge! Everything tasted wonderful, staff was friendly, and we got one of those handy punch cards. Uh yes we’ll be back! Thanks Taco Del Mar!

I dont know why people are giving it such a bad review. Taco del Mar is basically just like how Qdoba and Chipotle are but it’s cheaper and you can’t get anything like it here in the Fort Campbell area unless you drive to Nashville. I have known the owners for a while now, they also own a bunch of Subways in the area as well and are always very involved in their businesses really well and make sure that everything is done right(so you dont have to worry about disgusting things). I have ate there a couple of times and i absolutely loved it as well as my husband. Plus they have a rewards card where you can get $ 5 off a purchase after 10 punches.

I have seriously been dying for a decent burrito and this place fit the bill. I’m not sure why the others gave it one star I had a burrito chips and queso and a drink and it was like 9 bucks. My food was excellent and I will def be back. The good: Great location Workers were nice Inside is clean Their queso has some kick My burrito was stuffed and delicious The bad: Their menu is confusing to me The layout is kind of awkward Pricey but on par with most fast food chains

I just ate at a Taco Del Mar located in Clarksville, TN on Tiny Town Rd. What an awful experience! The ‘mondo’ is a 13″ tortilla and the ‘mondito’ is a 10″ tortilla. I know this because I was told when ordering. My girlfriend ordered a mondito while I had a mondo. They were the exact same length! What’s more, hers was larger in diameter. What a rip off. The difference in the contents was that she had lettuce and rice in hers. Even then, the extra tortilla on mine folded into the middle should’ve made mine the same or larger. It did not. When I pointed this out. The man at the register was smug about it and didn’t offer any solution. So not only are the portions not proportional, the product is messy. This was not because of sour cream but due to the liquid not being drained off the beans or the chicken when assembling the burrito. I wanted to try the fish tacos but didn’t when I saw they were being made with hard taco shells. Seriously? This restaurant is based on what beach culture. I spend a lot of money eating out. I doubt that I will spend any more of it on this restaurant. I rarely reward bad food or service with repeat business. There are too many food choices out there… no need to suffer crappy food and waste your time.
