My burger consisted of two hard buns a giant piece of iceberg lettuce and a patty that was so thin I actually thought it was missing it was thinner than paper

Way over priced. The new owners(a large subway franchisee and the owners of Troy Cleaners) really screwed up this little gem. Not recommended.

This places is top notch for a burger joint. This location looks new and has ample parking, clean restrooms, and nice areas to sit. The burgers are sort of small, but they are tasty. I tried the olive burger. Also, their Boston coolers are legendary, and they serve vernors on tap. Would definitely visit this place again.

I grew up in Flint, work in Flint, and continue to eat at various Halo Burger restaurants. This is NOT necessarily the same restaurant as the old ones in Flint although I thought my food was as good if not better than the other locations between Grand Blanc and Birch Run. It is a slightly different menu… they are competing against the other chain burger joints and time will tell if they can make it with the more modern approach. My QP was awesome. Somewhere around $ 8 for a combo, but I am just happy to have some heavenly options closer than Flint, although I am up there at least 5 days a week. Sure there are other options nearby, but they aren’t Halo Burger. And nobody will ever have a Boston cooler as good as they make(Treat Dreams in Ferndale though is damn close).

Well, I’ve got to say… very expensive, and definitely not worth it. We both had the supreme burger, and although it sounded really good, and looked really good on the picture, it was very pedestrian at best. I would rate it as good as a fast-food burger, but at that price, you have to be better than Ruby Tuesdays or Outback, which it certainly isn’t. Oh well, another restaurant on Sashabaw doesn’t make it.

I was happy to see a Halo Burger closer to where I live now. I grew up in the Flint area and know how good the burgers are here. The food here was okay. Nothing special to warrant the major price increase. $ 4 just for a Quarter Pound burger; then another $ 4 to make it a meal. That is crazy! They have specialty burgers that are around $ 6-$ 8. I ordered one of those and they forgot the crispy onions on the top; I called and said they were out of those. Seems like I should have got some type of refund or at least told they were out of those since I was missing a topping. Ah well. I spent over $ 20 for 2 people to eat at a fast food joint. Next time I will just go up the road to another burger place — the order is always right and quite a bit less expensive.

The expanded menu is awesome. Great burgers, well worth the price. The Boston Cooler actually came in a glass milkshake cup and a metal mixing cup with the extra shake. I will definitely be going back.

The food was pretty good, but the prices were WAY too high. My girlfriend and I went there for dinner and got a halo burger, fries, and drink, and spent almost $ 20. Definitely not worth it. I can sit down at a restaurant and get a burger for less than that. I won’t be going back unless they lower their prices to something more reasonable.
