Recently a reviewer posted that this location serves maxwell house coffee. I just wanted to note that the information they shared is incorrect as the company gets all of their coffee fresh weekly from a Michigan roasting company located in Plymouth. They also serve other locally produced products such as their BBites which are made in Troy. Love to support a local business that works with the community. The drinks are great (I especially like the iced coffee) and the customer service is exceptional.

Excellent customer service! :-) And helpful in my indecision. she suggested there chai tea which is made in house and it is sooooooo delicious! I love the tall ceilings with the visible heating ducts… Kind of industrial looking up above and fun, colorful, clean quirky, creative atmosphere down below. Tasteful and nonintrusive music playing above. they also serve sandwiches and danishes if you are hungry. I will definitely be back!

3 stars, but I’ll maybe revise once they’re settled, since they’re under new management. The good: my espresso was delightful, not bitter or burnt, and my breakfast sandwich was only 3.49, with pretty fresh ingredients. Since I work up this way, sometimes with gaps between meetings, it’s nice to have a comfy place to sit. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and willing to suggest menu items. The mediocre: not all menu items are actually available, and I would have liked a little more creativity and variety from the pastry options. Conclusion: I’ll likely be back.

Bean and Tea is a unique and and inviting coffee shop. They offer a huge selection of coffee drinks and teas. If you enjoy plain strong coffee they serve fair trade coffees that are top notch and espresso too! They have a huge assortment of coffee drinks far more than the big chain places. They also carry a big selection of teas and tea drinks. The staff is friendly. The décor is inviting and Un pretentious and the have a drive they too. Of course there is free wi Fi and food I think they are everything you could want in a coffee shop!

This spot is designed to be a coffee shop. I am so glad Bean & Tea filled it. Awesome selection and great inventory of sugar free products to make a wide diversity with less calories. Thanks again for coming to Clarkston.

Coffee isn’t all that great. I’ve tried their brewed, espresso, and lattes. Anything sweetened is overly so. Smoothies are more slushies with coloured syrup and were so sweet my daughter wouldn’t take more than a sip or two. Service has been hit or miss as far as politeness and speed. In a really tight pinch it’ll do, but I’m more likely to wait to get to the other 2 – 3 coffee houses in the area or make something at home.

This used to be a starbucks. The new owners have similar selections and products but the staff are friendly and its still a great little hidden spot to study or talk. It is very loud in both music and general acoustics so bring your headphones if you have ADHD like me and need to focus.

Great service at this place. I visit here often, around once a week. The coffee here is solid and consistent quality.
I highly recommend the world coffee hand pour or their dark roast. Awesome place!!!

Had to revise my rating due to the inconstancy… service and quality vary from outstanding to horrific. Probably ok if you just want a cup of regular coffee, but skip the espresso drinks.
I would love to see this place succeed, but they need to step up the training

This isn’t Caribou or Starbucks obviously but the coffee is ok. Wish there was outdoor seating. Food selection is fair. Inside is pretty nice with a lot of seating. Wanting to return when it gets colder. Looks like a nice fireplace is set for cozy coffee in winter.

I use to come to this location when it was previously Caribou. I ordered your basic iced coffee and it was the worst iced coffee I’ve ever tasted. I swear it was ½ coffee & milk all watered down with ice. I couldn’t even drink it. I’m sure they are working out some growing pains since it just opened so I’ll give them another try soon.

This Place is Awesome. One of the best dark blends ive had. I beleive it was called portifino blend. Amazing! cant wait to go back again.
