Amazing food, I can not say that enough. Wonderful atmosphere, the staff is very accommodating. The pizza is fantastic, freshly baked in a beautiful brick oven. This is hands down my favorite pizza. Pazzo is just an all around great place.

I think this place is gone. Drove hour and a half round trip for lunch only to find the door locked, no hours listed and no one answering phones on 5÷29÷16

My husband just ordered 2 pizzas. This place must have been closing or the cooks just don’t care about what they do because the pizza dough was not cooked and so thin it was see through. I had to take the toppings off and easy them with a fork. Ridiculous.

Pleasant atmosphere. Nice to see such an enticing variety of dishes offered on the menu. The arancini appetizer was excellent and so was the pizza — you can’t beat pizza cooked in a wood fired oven. The ravioli and fresh bread were good. Service was excellent. As others have mentioned, the sign in front looks like it’s actually a day care center, but it’s what inside that counts.

I’ve been going here since it opened. The staff is great and very friendly –they are always looking for ways to improve and some are members of the community. If you have any suggestions let them know. The Neapolitan style pizza is soooo good, it’s very light and flavorful but I have to say after having the vegetable lasagna it’s going to be hard picking something else from the menu. Eat fresh. Eat local.

This restaurant is very popular as the neighborhood bar but we come here for the great Italian food. As you approach the building, you are greeted by a wonderful garlic aroma. The enticing smell is their homemade pappardelle bolognese — simply amazing dish. Other dishes we have enjoyed are the fried calamari which come with zucchini fries, spaghetti with meatballs, and lasagne. They have happy hour in the bar only, which seems to be a happening scene.

It seems that this is norm these days, but when I waited tables and a customer took issue with something, the manager was informed and steps to make the customer happy were made. Not here. My first time here, I went with my family and ordered a pizza called Quattro Stagioni, which in Italian, means four seasons. It has prosciutto, black olives, mushrooms, and artichoke. Not a favorite for some, but these ingredients together sounded pretty good to me. When the pizza arrived, each topping had its own corner of the pizza, not mixed together. I read the description once more and it didn’t reference this at all. I like the ingredients, just not by themselves. Artichoke by itself is a bit much. When I mentioned to the waitress my surprise, she said I’ll know better next time. The manager never appeared. The other food at the table was fine, so my review is based only on customer service.

Terrible customer service, wanted to order a carry out but took over 10 mins for them to take my order, and it was not busy. When I finally got to order the lady said that I can just get a side of meatballs with my chicken parm. Little did I know the meatballs were $ 6 for 2 meatballs. That’s a tad bit overpriced! Also, they were extremely dry. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan without pasta and substituted it for a veg medley instead. They did not pack the vegetables. So I had to drive back to get it. I also ordered pappardelle bolognese and was very unimpressed. The pasta was all stuck together but tasted decently on the bland side. When I asked them about the pasta, they said it stuck together because they make their pasta fresh. I’ve had fresh pasta, and I know it does not stick when made properly! They proceeded to blame the pasta on the sauce… Are you kidding… All in all, they did not seem too worried about what happened or what I had to say. So I will not be back. This place gets ½ a star if It could.

Amazing Food! Amazing Service! As a local resident of Clarksburg, I have been to Pazzo Pomodoro many times without disappointment. The chicken parmesan, calamari, and vermicelli with clams were all fantastic! Aside from the food, the staff are phenomenal! Behind the bar, Maddie and Shmiddy go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are sure to never leave your glass empty. In addition, the manager Marcello couldn’t be more attentive. You should not miss this outstanding local establishment!

We’ve been here twice now and it’s been quite good both times. It’s located in a newer strip mall in the middle of a new suburban development. Don’t let the kid like logo fool you, they offer a full Italian menu. You are first greeted by a huge marble pig, apparently imported from Italy. There is actually a good amount of seating available inside. The service is friendly, although on our second visit seemed stretched very thin. The food is very good overall. We’ve had the fried calamari and risotto balls as appetizers– would highly recommend both. The pizza was excellent, with a nice thin crust and fresh sauce and cheese. I also tried the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was excellent. But the chicken was surprisingly bland, I’d probably skip it next time. It’s definitely a quality Italian restaurant and a good find.

This is what I’ve had so far that is awesome: — carpaccio — grilled calamari — bruschetta — ravioli de carne — pizza in general — agnolotti — all deserts — caesar salad — lasagna — meat balls I’ve visited a few times over the last 3 months and everything is really consistent and great. Happy hour with schmitty is always entertaining and worth a visit if you are around

NY/NJ born and raised so it tough to impress me when it comes to pizza in the DMV area but this place did more than just impress me it had me wanting to come back for more. Let me start with the name of the place or rather the font and color of the establishment. I spoke to the Manger of this location and he gave me a little back ground on what the original owner had in mind. Regardless of what the original owner had in mind the font and color makes it look like it could be a day care center. It was the main reason why it took me so long to even try this place. When you walk in and actually see the place it doesn’t match what you see on the inside. Nice set up inside. It’s what you’d expect to see when you walk into a legit pizza place. The food was great. We were in there during the brunch hours which I didn’t expect at all. We started with a caprese salad and omelet. Salad was great. We were seated close to the kitchen and the Italian cook told us that the mozzarella might still be warm as he had just made it. He was right, the freshness was on point. Great taste and texture. The omelet? Pet peeve would be a burnt omelet. Had a decent taste but it was a little bit dry for my taste. Omelete shouldn’t be brown. Now onto the main event. The PIZZA. You won’t find your typical ny pie, that’s right it’s called a pizza pie for all you people in maryland area, or ny slice. This is a traditional neapolitan pizza. It’s cooked in a special wood fired oven which is made in italy and the pizzas are typically around 12 inches. We tried 3 different pies. All tasted great. I’m not going to go through each but I would have one suggestion. The brunch menu had a brunch pizza. The bacon was way over cook and the the fried egg on top should of definitely been sunny side up so when you cut it to the pie you could spread the yolk. Sadly the egg that was on the pie was overcooked. I think because it was only 2 of us and we ordered so much food the Italian chef hooked us up with a La Sfogliatella,(Lobstertail) pastry. Which was again made in house and tasted delicious. I will definitely be making my way back to this joint to try the rest of their pizzas.

I ordered the meat lasagne to go… What a huge disappointment! First, they quoted me a time of 15 – 20 mins to pick up. It took over 35 minutes which was an annoyance. Second, it tasted worse than frozen stouffer’s lasagne from the grocery store. It was drowning in sauce. You could barely make out the lasagne noodles. I should have ordered a basic cheese pizza. Maybe they can get that right…

As others mentioned the logo for this place is misleading. From the outside Pazzo looks like a kids-friendly pizza place like CiCi’s(minus the buffet). Once you enter you realize it is far from a little pizza joint. Its a cute little Italian restaurant with a classy but not super fancy atmosphere and pretty yummy food(and drinks). Out waitress was very nice and accommodating. The calamari was delicious as was my spaghetti bolognese. One member of our party ordered an a pasta dish that was al dente and not very saucy but I’m sure some people like that. The waitress offered to bring him something else and even brought us a small dessert. I’ll visit again… especially since there are no good italian joints around(carabbas? womp womp).

Have continued to be impressed with Pazzo! It’s definitely worth a visit. Pazzo fills a niche that has been missing in the Germantown/Clarksburg area for years. A casual Italian restaurant that serves quality family food, at moderate prices and has a nice bar. I’m hoping it becomes a local hangout whenever we’ve had a rough week and just want to run out for a good dinner, but not pay gourmet prices. Note, it’s not cheap, but it’s not high end. Probably a notch below Grillmarx prices across the street. The pizza is excellent. Pizza is a very personal item for me as I love a NY style pie and it is the best pizza around. The toppings were good, cheese mix is perfect and the sauce is excellent. It is that perfect balance of tomato flavor, cheese, crisp thin crust and salt. My only complaint is they only make one size pie, which is small. Okay to share with an appetizer, but wish they had some full size 22″ take-out pies. You can order for take-out, however, and they are much better than any of the delivery places. We also tried some mussels which were very good. I got a few bad mussels, but it happens. The good ones were excellent and the sauce and bread was great. I had them put a little marinara in as I prefer mussels with red sauce. 2nd visit I tried the Zuppa de Pesce and it was great. Nice fresh chunks of salmon mixed in with fresh clams, mussels, squid and shrimp. Kid meals were good. The chicken tenders were house made lightly floured chicken tenders and zucchini strips. Kid loves the chicken. Dad ate the zucchini. The kid size spaghetti and meatballs was also good. Meatballs were good and large. Could have used a bit more sauce, but I’m sure we could have asked for it. You know you are in a good Italian restaurant by the bread. The bread the bring out after you order is excellent. No stale rolls here. It’s legit. Service is good. The kitchen is fast. Drinks are fine. There is a nice bar in the back corner separated a bit from the dining areas. They have Happy Hour food specials available in the bar(between 4&7 I think). Pizza prices were $ 12 for most 12 inch pies. The pies were enough for two people to split one with an appetizer. Appetizers were around $ 10. Seafood entrees were all in the $ 20 range. Most pasta dishes were in the high teens. I saw some of the fresh pasta and ravioli at the next table and it all looked worth trying on the next visit. There were no pizzas on the kids menu, so for that you have to split a $ 12 pie. The kids menu did have around 8 options of varying pasta and sandwich combinations.

We stopped in for happy hour earlier this week and I was absolutely blown away by this place. The logo really belies the interior and the menu. I feel like looking at the logo you’d think this was a children’s play place or something, but NOPE. I’d say it’s not quite high-end, but is still very nice. The bar area was plenty large and the bartender, Schmitty, was super friendly! The entire draft selection is all craft brews and they’re only $ 4 on HH. House wines were $ 4.50, which includes sangria(that’s what I got). We also tried the margarita pizza which was pretty darn tasty. Since we’d already polished off a pizza, we decided to split an entrée for dinner. We chose the Penne al Salmone Affumicato: smoked salmon in a light cream sauce with sundried tomatoes. Except I wanted to try the house-made pasta. Since penne is the only pasta they don’t make in-house, I talked to the chef(AWESOMEGUY, BTW) and he recommended the fettuccine. You guys. It. Was. The. Bomb. The chef even put it on separate plates for us. I will absolutely be back here. I can’t wait!
