The best home cooked Italian food you can find! Born and raised in an Italian family and lived in Brooklyn NY most of my life where there use to be a number of authentic Italian food places. In recent years these places disappeared but Erika’s Cucina is a true gem hidden here in central New Jersey. Try anything it’s all tasty… my favorite is the Muffalato Sandwich, fresh homemade mozzarella, meatballs, riceballs. basically everything Erika cooks!

When will your new store be opening? I hope you will have better help and be mort organized in the store. I also hope you hire more adults and less kids as it seems the kids really do not care about your customers .just my opinion! I also think that moving to new store is a little harder to find or should I say it is not right there when you pull into parking lot because when you put into parking lot before and you saw your store that always gave me the idea that even though I was there for something else I should stop in and check your store out just in case I needed something and more times than not I always picked up some food not sure now in new location I will be going in as much Sorry to say! One of the best sandwich places in this area! It gets super busy during lunch hours as the numerous businesses order so I recommend coming here after 2−3pm. Have a late lunch you won’t regret it.
It’s weird thing to explain first but if you’re into spicy or hot foods you definitely got to try their spicy hot long peppers. It’s clears sinuses better than Robitussin. Get it with anything even a salad. It is that good.
The use Boar’s Head for the cold cut sandwiches and they put good amount of meat on the subs. I usually go with the Salami, Pepperoni, and Provolone with the hot peppers I was talking about before. if I’m in the mood to spend a little more the chicken cutlet with the broccoli rabe, asiago, and the garlic mayo is the perfect way to spend a few extra bucks. It’s so good Jesus gets jealous. It’s so good Yoda would bow down to it. I have more but I’ll stop at that.
I recently had their Cobb Salad and it was huge portion with walnuts, cooked bacon pieces, olives, tomato, blue cheese, red onion, and grilled chicken. This is my favorite place to get food when I am in Clark, NJ.

The best in the area! Everything is always fresh and made to order. Erika the owner is an absolute sweetheart and makes you feel like family when you walk In. Only wish they could deliver but it’s probably better they don’t otherwise I would be broke from ordering out every day. Definitely try the grilled chicken bruschetta on semolina bread! Im addicted

Great food, Chicken cutlet, broc rab, with garlic mayo… To die for. Everything else is great too, my reason for poor star rating is, very slow staff, professional counter people would help. very unorganized. I refuse to go back cause of this, I don’t want to wait 20 minutes for a sandwich.

This place is the best deli in the area with one exception. The wait to pay your bill can be on excess of 5 minutes which is preposterous. This has happened to numerous coworkers and I a number of times. Anyways, the food quality and service otherwise is great. I usually have the roast beef (made on premise) sandwich on semolina bread.

Our family has been frequenting this establishment for as long as I can remember. In the past we have ordered food from the catering menu and they never fail to disappoint. Everything is freshly prepared to order and absolutely delicious! Most of the time we order hot sandwiches and they are very consistent. My children are very picky eaters and they love Erika’s meatballs .During the holidays, I order trays of meatballs and they always receive rave reviews. Erika and her staff are very personable and accommodating. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

We had been here before it became Erika’s and were pretty disappointed so when we noticed it had changed ownership we were anxious to give it a try again. I have to say we were very pleased and have now been here a half dozen times in the past two months or so. We have tried many different things from your basic sub to the grilled paninis and have enjoyed it all. The portions are definitely generous and you get homemade chips with alot of the sandwiches which is nice. My faves so far have been the grilled eggplant special and the hot pressed turkey special but everything has been good and the prices are very reasonable too. My only complaint would be that if you order inside for a to go order you will wait a bit. We have tried phone orders and they are ready to go when I get there so it seems that’s the better way to go if ordering takeout. They do have a few tables inside and there always seems to be people eating there as well which is a good sign. We will definitely be going back!

Erika recently catered my daughter’s bridal shower. We received nothing but compliments from our guests, that this was the best catered food they had ever had. From the tender and delicious chicken parmigiana, to the tasty orecchietti with sausage and broccoli rabe, to the fantastic eggplant rollatini, everything was freshly made with care. I cannot say enough good things about a business that you can tell takes a lot of pride in their food and the presentation of the food. I have also eaten at the deli numerous times. The sandwiches are so delicious; the staff are so friendly and courteous; the deli is extremely clean and comfortable. Erika made my daughter’s special day outstanding. You will not be disappointed.

As someone who has been working in Clark for 4 years its hard to find a good place for lunch, I am so happy Erica’s Cucina opnd they completely turned that dump (DiCosmos) into one of the BEST Italian Delis and by far the yummiest food in Clark. There eggplant panini is out of this world, huge rice balls, tasty specials, i could go on for days!

I’ve been going to this deli for a very long time. The place is very clean. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. The owner Erica makes you feel like your at home. Occasionally she will walk around with a tray of homemade fresh cannoli which I have to say are excellent. The Italian music playing adds to the place the specials are always top notch. I haven’t had a bad meal yet. Try Erica’s Cucina you won’t be disappointed.
