The campus is beautiful, surroundings of good people and vibes, i just wish that the receptionist who is in charge in the front was just a little more open to new people coming in and checking out the art.

My friend and I came here this afternoon to see the third«It Happened at Pomona» exhibit. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, but most especially the girl who was supervised the section of the exhibit dedicated to the interactive sculptures(oh dear, I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the artist!). She overheard us talking about whether we could touch the pieces or not, and offered to show us how they were meant to be used. We tried out every single piece, with the exception of the largest of all, a sort of Surrealist viewfinder(its seat was cracked). That was definitely the highlight of the visit for me =) Well, that and the delicious Pacific Standard Time cookie that I was proffered at the end of my visit. It was also my first time visiting Pomona College in general, and it made my visit THAT much more enjoyable. I will definitely be back.
