This has to be my new favorite restaurant. BEST cowboy hamburger and delicious Fries. Just be prepared to wait at least 45 minutes to 1h and a half. Worth the wait if you have the time.

Enjoyed the Bloody Mary’s(adorned with a crispy slice of bacon) on the weekends and the selection of brews on tap.

Eureka please add this meal to the menu. So I need to avoid wheat, gluten, and dairy which limits my choices. I ordered the Bison Burger, «naked» which is no bun on greens with lemon vinegarette, swapped out the Mozzerrella for goat cheese, and it was so so delicous. The fig jalepeno jam was a very nice compliment to goat cheese(takes away that thing I don’t prefer about goat cheese). Served with fries. I think this should an regular entrée on the menu. Delicious!

Eureka never disappoints. I get the bruschettas and watermelon salad every time I come. The best burger is the cowboy burger. Don’t forget to come for their hoppy hour then your bruschettas are a couple dollars cheaper!

Great spot for a get together with friends. Great selection of drinks. Great selection of gourmet food. Awesome atmosphere overall. I recommend the nachos. Nothing like I’ve tasted before. Pearl street blues burger hit the spot. Keep in mind these aren’t any old fast food burgers. These contain a medley of flavors that you’ve probably never experienced.

Looking for a place to have dinner after work. Was going to head to The Back Abbey but after reading reviews, decided to try this place out. We were happy we did as the food was delicious. Arrived at around 5:50pm and was seated immediately. Gal came to take out drink order and was nice enough to ask if we wanted anything before happy hour closed. We ordered: –truffle cheese fries –fig burger w/fries –pearl bleu burger w/side salad Food was delicious and burger was cooked to specifications. Was well put together with a delicious white & black sesame seed topped bun. Side salad was huge and pleasant: crisp spring mix lettuce and not just iceberg lettuce. Also came with cranberries, halved cherry tomatoes and bleu cheese or gorgonzola crumble. Truffle fries weren’t bad. The only thing keeping me from giving it a better rating is the sauces are quite thinned out: truffle cheese sauce and ranch. Service can be quite slow at times. Overall, was pleased and we will be back.

I loved it here. I got the cowboy burger with a fried egg and lettuce and it was finger licking good. Definitely will go back.

This burger place isn’t to bad! Appetizer we had the truffle cheese fries. I wish the cheese was a little thicker though. I also shared the jalapeño egg burger and that was delicious! The bone marrow burger was different but wished it had more bone marrow spread in it. Since we had order the truffle fries as an appetizer, they let us substate the fries that came with the burger for something else. We had a choice between onion rings, sweet potato fries, broccoli, cole slaw, or a mini salad. They have a great selection of beer! We order 3 flights of different beer which came with 4 samples in each flight. They have happy hour drinks specials on the weekends where mimosa & bloodily Mary are only $ 5!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town! I cannot express how satisfied I am with the service — the waiters and waitresses are always on the lookout for what you may need for your meal. I was never left confused for a moment, my cup was never empty. Not to mention, the food is amazing too! Just look at the pictures posted here, they speak for themselves. Nothing out of expectation, no surprises, only good food(((: would recommend everyone to visit eureka, especially those traveling!

First timer here at eureka burger. I was conflicted with 3 stars or 4 stars, ended up giving it 3 stars. Service was great. Our server was very tentative and polite. Here’s the cons, ordered the pearl street blue burger. my burger was not medium as I asked. Came out rather well done. I’m not the type to complain and be that guy to have the burger taken back. Burger was a bit on the dry side as well. I dealt with it. My French fries seemed to be the ending batch of the fries. All of them were literally small which I wasn’t too excited about. Still decently ok in taste. One thing I really enjoyed were the nachos. They were extremely good. I also ordered the wolfs among weeds, awesome taste for a double ipa. Really light, not too heavy. We also ordered the truffle fries with onion and bacon, it was ok. Not as great as I expected. The truffle taste was a bit non existent. Maybe I’ll come back to try it a second time.

Came here for dinner last Sunday night, and the wait was 30 – 45 minutes long for a party of 2. So we waited. They text you when your table is ready, or you can download an app and see where you are in line. Bar is first come first serve, but my cousin is only 14, they did say we can sit at the bar stools across from the bar, but we still chose to wait. We ordered: — mini corn dogs — fig burger with sweet potato fries — she got some sort of BBQ bacon burger The burger patties were tasty! If you are in the mood for a fancy burger, this is the spot to go to.

Eureka!(insert horrible/witty pun) what a place. Located in the«hip» downtown Claremont packing house, Eureka is quaint and stylish. My recent visit on a Friday night(without a reservation, gasp!) was delightful. Tip: ORDER A BURGER, it’s what they do best. Upon entry the hostess informed us the wait would be 45 mins, which isn’t too bad, but seeing how I was practically on the verge of DYING from hunger I needed food NOW! She kindly directed us to the bar area where I was surprised to see a row of open stools. Why were more groups not taking advantage of this prime spot and quick service? The only con to sitting in the bar area? You have no waiter and must order everything through the bartender. Now this could be troublesome for many but the bartender was fantastic and very attentive. We started with some drinks. I had a Hemingway which was scrumptious, not too stiff or too weak. After a few quick sips my attention immediately turned to the menu. I am not the biggest fan of burgers and I try to eat relatively healthy so I opted for the Lemongrass Pulled Pork Sandwich. I wasn’t expecting the Asian flavor of the sandwich but it was still very tasty. Beware if you do not like spicy food as there are fresh slices of jalapenos in the middle. My boyfriend ordered the Napa Burger. Boy was it delicious! The patty was mouthwatering. Cooked to perfection. I will be ordering this next time I come here for sure. He definitely ordered the better meal of the two. Lesson learned, when at a burger joint order a burger. My only concern is with the size of the restaurant. It is quite smaller than expected, specially in the bar section. It might be a little too close for comfort for some, but they do have optional outside dining.

Wanted a burger that wasn’t fast food so decided to give this surprisingly spectacular joint a try with my dad. Lucky to barely beat the rush and get a quick table. From the get go I like the vibe in this place. Friendly, casual, but kinda hip. To start I tried a cocktail called the Penicillin(whiskey, lemon, ginger, and citrus). Had to get it because I’m a nerd and I loved the name. Happy to say it was a nice balance of sweet and sour. Can’t comment on the rest of the alcoholic selection but there’s definitrly a selection. My dad and I both gor the jalapeño-egg burgers. Medium well with an overmedium egg, it was the Perfect combination of juicy, spicy savoriness that I like in my burger. Not too heavy, we demolished the burgers. The fries, and my dad’s brocolli(covered in garlic and cheese) were surprisingly delicious as well. Server was attentive and seemed generally happy which I appreciated. Overall had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Eureka restaurant located near the covered parking structure, I came by here last Monday, Dec 14, for an early dinner with my friends. We came in around 5:30 pm for dinner and did not have to wait too long for a table(one of my friends who got there a little before me put her name in to get a table. I think we waited about 15 minutes). After we were seated, we got our menus. I ended up ordering: Truffle Cheese Fries, $ 8.50 prior to tax– These fries are served with a white truffle cheese sauce on the side. This appetizer is a nice size to share with friends. I really loved the taste of these fries, but didn’t really taste the truffle. I tasted mainly cheese and potato(but still liked it either way) and it went really well with the cheese sauce(but I am sure ketchup would have been nice too). I would order this one again. Veggie Beet Burger, $ 11 + $ 1.50 to substitute salad for fries(prior to tax) — This burger originally comes with fries but I opted for a salad. This red beet burger is made with beets and kidney beans and so the patty was on the soft/mushy side, but that didn’t bother me. The flavor of this beet burger was fantastic. It was pretty tasty and filling. I would definitely order this one again(but I would like to try the bison burger on a future visit). The salad was made with the healthy dark green leafys and a good amount as a side. The dressing I picked was the parsley vinaigrette, which I thought was okay. — — — — — — — — - (Total= $ 22.89 prior to tip, after tax) Service was just average for the most part. Our server did not write down our order and so he had forgotten a few things and had to come back to our table to ask what did we ordered. He did refill our water glass at least once during our visit. I had originally asked for my salad to have the dressing on the side and no cheese. But when my salad came, it had the dressing mixed in the salad and cheese on top. Instead of trying to get our server’s attention, I just ate it as is, but would have preferred for it to served in the way I specifically requested. The ladies’ restroom was clean on this visit. However I do want to mention that if you turn on the hot water, it was scorching hot and using the cold water was freezing cold. Make sure to turn on both sides for a mixture of a medium temperature if you don’t want to suffer the consequences. Overall, the food is pretty solid here but with service not being as stellar, a 3 star rating is perfect for this place. By the way, this place seems pretty hipster like. They also have their own craft beers in case you are interested in that.

Eureka’s burgers quality aren’t as good compared to Smashburger, Hodad’s, or Burger Lounge, despite being in the same price range. Service is good. The truffle fries are average tasting. It would be nice if Eureka! provided customization to fries such as less crisp, extra salted, etc. Try the Bone Marrow burger.

I can see why Eureka is so popular, they sling some tasty burgers! even after 2:30pm when we finished our lunch on a weekday the restaurant was still almost full! love the outdoor patio area but it was too cold today, although they do have heat lamps —jalapeño egg burger(ordered medium): TASTY with the runny egg and the bacon, the patty was a bit past medium so that was a little disappointing but overall i was happy —sweet potato fries: glad i opted to upgrade my fries to these babies for $ 1.50! their fries are crispy and have this brown sugar butter sauce on top burgers & sides are a good size for me but for some reason i was expecting the burgers to be larger NOTE: happy hour from 2−6pm they have drink specials and appetizer specials

We came here on a Friday night and it was packed!!! For a table of 2, it was a 45 minute wait. We didn’t want to wait so we were able to find a couple of seats at the bar. Service was pretty fast. We ordered the osso bucco ribs which were really delicious. It was unlike any other osso bucco i have ever had. Its not soaked in broth but is dry yet falls right off the bone and is delicious. We ordered the hamburgers for our mains. The hamburgers were really juicy, the goodness of the cheddar and bacon. It also came with side of fries which were good. Pros: They have an awesome wine list(most are Californian) at a fairly reasonable price. They also have a nice variety of craft beers, and of course mixed drinks. The food is really good, very delicious with lots of flavor. Service is pretty fast and the servers are all very friendly. Good place for groups on the balcony. Cool location, there are a lot of local shops you can go to after or before your meal. Cons: Not really a con but you should make reservations because it gets really crowded. Or you can expect to wait a long time. I ran into 5 of my friends that night and they had to wait 1 ½ hours for a table. The inside is really small and tight especially near the bar area. Overall: Great restaurant with great food. I highly recommend coming here and checking it our for yourself. I strongly suggests making reservations, and coming here during the summer. They have a great balcony area to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful California weather with some great food and drinks.

How does this place get 4 stars? It’s a casual yet more upscale burger bar restaurant and it’s not bad, but I can’t claim it’s amazing. I got a beet vegetarian patty California style(arugula and cheese etc.) and the boy got the bone marrow burger. Both seem unique and very interesting, but performed less than incredible. Here’s why: Flavor was lacking on the beer burger. It was a bit dry and just a bit flavorless in general. The other burger accouterments didn’t quite help blend or balance the flavor, so it was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the bread is not good. It’s almost stale-like, but it’s just the type of bun. Don’t ever underestimate how much a bun can do for a burger. This one was dry and not toasted well and just plain awful. The bone marrow burger had the same critiques. The bf enjoyed the flavor but it could have been more and he hated the bun. We also got onion rings and truffle fries. If anybody has ever gone to Hop Doddy(yes the Texas transplant hurrah! And if you haven’t gone, go now. Go, quickly!) the truffle fries are thin and crispy and covered in freshly grated Parmesan and scallions and you can dip it in the truffle aioli. These truffle fries were disappointing. Where was the truffle? And the aioli was very liquidy, it wouldn’t adhere to the fry and would drip all the way to your mouth. That, friends, is not aioli. Otherwise, this is just a mediocre burger restaurant chain. They offer more than burgers of course but it’s their main speciality. Definitely for the Claremont students, not quite for those who want to be foodies.(#wannabefoodie here)
