Savory crepes are strange, and salty beyond belief. The batter recipe is weird, like it has corn meal in it. The filling in all of our crepes was extremely salty, and the tomato sauce in the des ami I swear was canned spaghetti sauce. Staff not friendly. Pluses are awesome location in the packinghouse and a few great outdoor tables. Might be totally fine for some simple desert crepes and a beverage. Don’t recommend for a meal.

I was unsure in brining my friend to eat here for her birthday since i had read plenty of bad reveiws before coming here but still took the chance. The lady who attended us was very polite and the food turned out to be super delicious. My friend loved it here, we will definitely be returning!

Okay so I’ve been here a couple of times and order the«Royal crêpe» with a hot mocha. Usually it’s amazing but the last time I went the mocha was literally Luke warm(not hot at all) I guess she made them at kids temp. But the crepes are pretty good.

The service is not too good. We placed our order ahead of four other people. We watched the other orders get delivered well before ours. We typically order the curry crepes which have been good in the past. Tonight’s crepes were just warm and the chicken tough(most likely over cooked and dry). This place can be good when they are not busy. Just be aware of the slow service when they are busy… especially Friday’s

Its very simple, this place is amazing. We had the royal crêpe and classic egg omlet, and they were extraordinaryly very good. Service was at its best, the barista takes care of the food she is preparing such as the coffee and hot chocalete. This place felt like home, loved it

Menu states banana Crêpe is 6.85 yet they charged me 7.85. No biggie but could be confusing as to why someone would be spending 8.56 on a $ 6.85 purchase. Sign said HELPWANTED and as see why it’s needed. Please management tell ur employees to smile a little more and be nicer. I would never provide that type of customer service because I would want to receive great service so I make sure I give it as well.

I’ve been here a couple of times with a friend since Claremont is a good meeting spot for us. Crepes de Paris is located on 1st Street, in the really nice«Downtown» area of Claremont. It’s a tiny restaurant with many different crêpe options. I’ve had the Du Solei which was off their breakfast menu and this last time I tried their St. Louis which consisted of a choice of turkey or ham(I went with ham), mushrooms, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and a creamy sauce on top. Let me tell ya… though it was very savory and flavorful it was extremely heavy. I finished maybe half and was stuffed! I also had a hazelnut latte with soy and at first I thought it was great but as I got past the foam, the coffee wasn’t flavorful and tasted very watered down. I am also bummed to see they didn’t do any fun designs in the foam like some of the photos I’ve seen on Unilocal. They had dessert crepes to go with Nutella that I really wanted to try but we were so full, I couldn’t think about eating for awhile. The one girl working the register and serving the food did not look pleased at all. Took her forever just to take our order as we awkwardly stood at the front waiting. None of the tables had been bussed so we had only 1 clear table to choose from. Overall, they’re decent crepes but the quality isn’t amazing… their coffee definitely needs to improve and service needs to be improved. Parking: free large structure next door which is super convenient

Terrible. I don’t know wheat their issue is but they are never friendly. I’ve tried to come back a handful of times to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this place just has terrible service. They are impatient at the register but then take 20+ minutes for one sandwich? I was the only one in the store. Second time I got two crepes. Again 20+ minutes. Rude service. And the crepes where nothing but subpar. I will never come back or suggest anyone eat here. Not worth it.

Mmm… Good food and service. Romantic – would be a great date spot. Closest thing to Paris in Claremont, esp the patio seating

A-OK, crepes were good. Service was just OK and the a/c here is either broken or they don’t use it. Very uncomfortably warm inside. Although the crepes were very good, I had to order a second one as they are very small for what you pay. Averaging $ 6.50.

The cashier was very friendly and bilingual(my mom speaks Spanish). We ordered the french onion soup(good, looks just like the Unilocal pictures), the ham and cheese crêpe(yummy as well) and the spinach and chicken(ahhhhhmazzzzinggg! So good!!!). We also ordered dessert crepes but we asked they bring them after our meal. I cant wait to taste the rest of this all! The place is clean and calm, we are here ona sunday night.

Dreadful store manager/owner — she yells at her hardworking employees without any self control. I am quite the Crepes De Paris regular. And I was just there until 10 minutes ago, reading a book after enjoying a delicious crêpe and coffee. I have always found the service at this place to be excellent. And especially one Hispanic-looking lady is very hardworking and does a great job. I don’t know her name. She is a middle-aged-looking lady. Today, there were two ladies working there, both hispanic-looking: The middle-aged-looking lady whom I have seen there for a couple of years and another slightly younger-looking lady. The older lady served me and everything went well until … The store manager/owner(don’t know who she is – she is a thin, youngish woman with brownish hay-colored hair and high heels) began to yell at the older staff lady. She kept yelling at her for at least 10 minutes in an arrogant, high-strung voice, repeating phrases like«I need the paper.» The older lady kept replying to her in a normal tone in English and Spanish — it was such a low-volume reply that I could not hear the reply. But this manager-type woman was so loud that it was the perfect disturbance for me. Of course, I don’t know what the situation is. Perhaps the employee did deserve a reprimand. But there is no need to yell at your employees. She could have reprimanded without yelling in an arrogant, frustrated voice. The manager-type woman has no self control obviously. I know that my review here may lead this manager-type woman to scold the employees more and even blame them. I also know that she may start yelling at her employees in private in the future. But I sincerely hope that this will not happen. Yelling at your juniors and employees just reflects very poorly on the character of the employer/manager and demonstrates the poor values of the establishment. I hope that this manager will be reprimanded and corrected by the owners. And if the yelling woman is the owner, I hope that she will change herself.

My family and I went here on a Sunday morning and loved everything about this quaint little restaurant. The crepes were delicious. The coffee and mocha were just right. Everything from service, price, quality of food was just right. We will definitely be going back again in the future.

Simply based on the dreadful service. The person who took our order was surly and told us it would be 20 minutes to get our food, which we said was fine. We sat at a dirty table to get one outside. They never cleaned it, the waitress refused to look at our table while she resolved an issue with overcharging another patron. I finally went in and asked for the table to be cleared. They says sure but didn’t bother to act. Five minutes later, my wife couldn’t stand the smell of old food and she took the dishes up to them. They didn’t even acknowledge that. Another five minutes passed and we still didn’t get our coffee. I finally gave up and asked for our money back and they seemed confused by the request. Laughed, the offered for us to try another location. I’d have loved to have tried the food but with such terrible service, I don’t see going back.

PROS: YUM! The Curry crêpe! Tasted like India met Paris and had a beautiful crêpe love child. The sauce moderately spicy and unlike any other crêpe I’ve ever had. The savory crepes are great here. The dessert crepes are okay(they weren’t served warm). Cute and casual ambiance, nice French music usually playing. CONS: Service is pretty slow. I’ve been here a couple times and the waiters often need reminders to bring out your food. Go here if you are in no rush and have well over an hour for lunch/dinner.

Their onion soup was a fiasco. It was quietly returned for a refund after the first two spoons. Nothing that even resembles real French onion soup. As a consolation prize, their light & yummy crêpe worked pretty well. Next time I will probably stick with the crepes or opt out for pizza next door.

After driving away from an overcrowded breakfast place down the way, we decided to try our luck in the village and found this little place open with plenty of seating. The menu is pretty simple(lots of crepes, omelets, and the SSS – soup, salad, sandwich), you order at the counter and then take your number back to your seat. The interior is very clean and charming with its take on French décor, but sometimes they get geographically confused and start mixing in nearby Italy — see photo of my cute coffee cup! Staff is pleasant and food is just ok. Crepes are new to my diet. This would be my second experience. My first was over at Mimi’s on New Years Day(I neglected to review). So I’m a novice. However, I thought they were supposed to be rolled. These were squares. Mine was Du Soleil, I was almost expecting some cirque performance, but no such luck. It contained bacon and cheese with a side of sour cream. My husband had the Ham and Gruyère. Then we shared the Normandy – a sweet one containing apples, cinnamon, brandy, and caramel. As I noted above, all just ok. We were not blown away or converted to crêpe – ism by the experience. And because they are so light with no side dish or accompaniment, my husband was still hungry afterward. Service is also slow. Although the crepes are definitely made fresh, I think it may be a one man or one woman show in the kitchen. If you are super hungry or have somewhere to be, I wouldn’t come here. Or perhaps this a take on French style service/dining — slow down, take in the sights, and your food will come out eventually. However, if that’s the intent, it would be a good idea if they had some ready made baked goods, fruit, and self-serve drinks to keep diners occupied because sometimes we run out of sparkling conversation while we wait! To sum it up, I don’t think we are savory crêpe folks, but sweet/dessert type crepes, yes! This is the kind of place we’d come to for an appetizer, or dessert, or to kill time, or hide out with a good book. But definitely not a place to satisfy your Hungry Jack appetite.
