Fabulous atmosphere in a cute little small downtown shop. The interior is small, but there is outdoor seating as well. Coffee was good, but the cupcakes and pastries are to die for! Definitely check this place out!

We ordered our wedding cake from Tres Belle for our wedding, but I’m writing this review before our wedding has even happened because I am so thankful for their amazing service! A couple weeks prior to our wedding(which is this weekend), my fiancés grandma became ill and no longer can attend the wedding and reception. I had Tres Belle make a cake in our wedding flavor that we are taking to Grandma today. I picked up the cake thinking it would just be plain with the cake flavoring and they created it to look just like our wedding cake! I wasn’t expecting this and just thought it was so sweet and thoughtful. Grandma may not make it to the day, but at least she has a way to feel a part of it now! Thank you!

I strongly give Tres Belle a solid 5 stars. They did my daughter’s wedding cake, which required that I visited the best cake and coffee shops in town. The cake we got was very elegant in presentation and excellent and sophisticated in quality. Deciding using Tres Belle involved having coffee and other products at the shop various times, before and after ordering the cake, and the quality of the food and the services was always superior and consistent.

Tres Belle baked the cake for our March 2016 Cincinnati wedding. No muss, no fuss, just solid service and a delicious and beautiful cake. We got so many compliments and we are really pleased with the overall result. The range of delicious vegan cake flavors, fillings and frostings was staggering, much greater than any other local bakery we visited. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes. The cake held up well under hot lights. My husband and I can honestly say that we’d choose them again!

Great little shop in reading! Went in looking for something sweet and wasn’t disappointed. I ordered a sprinkle sugar cookie(which was huge) and a lemon blueberry cupcake. Both were delicious and the staff was very friendly. Will go back again

finally took the opportunity to stop at Tres Belle today, after driving by their former Benson Road location many times. ‘m fairly glad I did, and hope to give them. 5 stars the next time I visit. I bought a cinnamon-filled coffee cake. The taste was great, but the dough was a little dry. If I had ti with coffee or milk, that would have taken care of it, but alone it wasn’t as good as it should have been. I’m definitely willing to give them another chance

Finally, a cupcake and coffee shop that really gets it. Tracy and her staff are all dedicated to make sure the cakes, cupcakes, and coffee that are their hallmark are all works of art and gastronomical delights. Everything I have purchased from here has been very tasty, fresh, and memorable. I love carrot cake and will go out of my way to experience one of these fresh from the oven. I highly recommend Tres Belle to anyone who truly appreciates great cake.

I had some high hopes as I ventured into Tres Belle, on Reading just a block north of the wedding district, as I had heard good things from multiple sources. But sadly, things did not go well. This is the kind of place that at first glance I think anyone would want in their neighborhood — a locally owned boutique-ish bakery with high quality baked goods where you can sit done and have a light and unhurried breakfast, lunch, or snack. Service stood up to that test — the ladies there were very friendly, and answered all my questions with a smile. But the food fell flat — very flat. Now I want to stop here and say this — if you look at their display case, it is very, very clear that they specialize in cakes and cupcakes. Unfortunately, I am not much into either of those, but I should have known to order at least one of these specialty items, and I didn’t. What did sounds good as I read the giant menu on the northern wall of the customer area was the stuffed croissants. I am always on the lookout for a good croissant, and stuffed? with the fillings baked right in rather than cut and filled like a sandwich? that sounded absolutely wonderful. I ordered 1 each of the goetta stuffed and the bacon-n-egg stuffed, and while they looked great, they were, well, awful. First, these had the texture of a grocery store croissant — all soft and kinda stale, rather than having nice lightly chewy layers held in by lightly crispy outer shell. Worst though was the filling — in both cases, they smelled and tasted spoiled. I hazarded only a single a bite of each to be sure I was kinda shocked at this point. Here I was in a clearly boutique-ish bakery, and these were worse than a breakfast croissant one can buy in a grocery case, as I can say for those that at least none of the few I have eaten have contained spoiled meat. I also had a cookie. It was solidly good. I really do need to go back and sample a cupcake. I am all but certain those are much, much better. I mean, look at the photo in Amanda M’s review — if you like cupcakes, you’d want that, right? Between the cookie and how good the cupcakes looked, I am bumping the rating here from a 1 to a 2. But as bad as those croissants were, I am in no hurry to make that return visit.

I consider myself a cupcake expert and let me tell you this place rocks it with the cupcakes. My sister-in-law brought me a little treat in a plain white box and low and behold it was THE best cupcake I’ve had in my life. Usually I’m only one for chocolate cake, but the pink champagne flavor won me over. The sweet, thick, slightly stiff swirled edged icing(with glittery sugar on top) won me over first. The cake was both moist and dense. This flavor had a deep pink filling that I think was raspberry right in the center, not too tart or sweet, but just right. Based on its taste I can’t wait to visit the shop and try their dark chocolate and cookie butter flavors plus their cookies, macarons, soups, stuffed croissants and sandwiches.

Many years ago Tracy made wedding cakes out of her house, one of which was ours. The quality and attention to detail was fantastic, and was a centerpiece of our weekend. I was thrilled to see Tracy had opened a shop, and finally got the chance to stop in a few times. Her baked goodies were delicious, and the cupcakes are just as amazing as I remember our cake being. Throw some coffee and espresso in there and I’m hooked. It’s nice having a little bakery café nearby to pop in and out that is not a big monster chain. It’s personal and homey.

I’m writing this review in between bites of the best cake I’ve ever tasted. Tracy has been a longtime friend of mine, but she also is my «go to» when it comes to cakes/deserts for all my special occasions — she even rocked out my dream cake for my wedding in 2013. Tres Belle Cakes has provided treats to my companies Holiday parties and has donated thousands of dollars in sweets to charities all across Cincinnati. After working from her Norwood based home for years, she moved to the Reading«Bridal District» to be closer to her customer base — BRIDES! Her newest location is still in Reading — but the perfect space for what she does best! The kitchen is the core of the building and you can watch her and her«sugar minions» creating sugary magic with your very eyes! They don’t just bake. The front of the shop is cozy — the perfect spot to sip on a latte or frap and enjoy a sweet treat or a sandwich to-go. If you go to Lucy’s next door — save desert for across the parking lot — Tres Belle is open 7 days a week… craziness! Everything is super affordable and this place is a blessing to the community. Go now. Seriously.
