Vanilla frozen custard very good. Chocolate malt made with choc. custard was horrible. Too runny with a flavor neither chocolate nor malty. $ 4.50 for a regular size was pricey.

Rumor is the brownie bites Whitser is better at other locations. I am not sure of that — but I am SURE the fluffer nutter Whitser is awesome here (vanilla custard + marshmallow cream + peanut butter = YESness). Plus, they have flavors of the week and special items daily. I highly recommend for ice cream/​frozen yogurt/​custard folks.

A friend recommended Whit’s to me and I passed it going to the FedEx office today. Since the buzz about it has been so positive, I decided to stop in.
Please know, this is your no frills type of place, no glitz, no glamour, no 1,000 flavors to choose from… simply delicious no fuss frozen custard. They offer two speciality flavors along with classic chocolate and vanilla. Today I opted for their monthly flavor, Chocolate Mint. The texture of their frozen custard is phenomenal… it is so soft and silky. I’ve always been a gelato/​frozen yogurt fan but I think I’m converted.
The best part about Whit’s? It’s CHEAP. Great for families.

Growing up in Cleveland this is first great frozen custard I have found in Cincinnati.
Always have chocolate and vanilla plus flavor of the day. A must try, richer than ice cream.

Whit’s is delicious! And what is it that makes this frozen custard so creamy and delicious… Egg yolks, my friends. Milk, cream AND egg yolks. Mmm.
Like Dolf said, it’s a welcome contrast to the other frozen treat options in Cincinnati. If you want something simple, you can get a cup of either the vanilla or chocolate custard or the flavor of the day. Or you can get a «Whitser,» which is comparable to a DQ Blizzard, but with unlimited mix-​in combinations and OMG WAY BETTER. One of my favorite combos is vanilla custard + java + mint + oreos.
One thing I wish they would add to their menu is a smaller Whitser. These Whitsers are intensely rich and filling. A smaller size would be welcome by the likes of me.

yes! custard in Cincinnati! it’s a nice change of pace from the richness of graeters, or gelato. And it provides a little more heft than froyo. Not as good as St. Louis or Chicago custard, BUT, it fills a nice niche here in Cincy, also, it’s attached to a Mio’s, so you can have dessert before dinner!

Living down the street I was excited to try Whit’s. I planned on using the Cincy savers I bought. Unfortunately the staff had no idea how to redeem it. They were all confused and asked the woman in charge who seemed to be stoned. She was no help :/​Thankfully the custard was delicious! I’m sure we’ll give it another try.

This place is awesome, my friend told me about it and we went together and just had a great time. The people who work there were very friendly and they even gave us a free cone of frozen custard. I would recommend getting the brownie blitz!
