Patricia’s Weddings & Custom Cakes

I am a happy customer of Patricia’s for at least a decade. I was married in Missouri, so I cannot use the same bakery for anniversary cakes, which my husband and I do every five years.
When I originally called Patricia’s and told them what I was interested in, they said that they could do what I wanted within a few days. Sure enough, I stopped by and they had replicated the same cake I had for my wedding. It is an almond vanilla moist cake with buttercream. I had also asked for calla lillies on top. The cake was so beautiful, it was hard to cut into that first one. It also smells absolutely wonderful. However, it tastes so good, we have had no trouble cutting into the rest of them.
The anniversary cakes are inexpensive for the quality. I have paid just as much for sub-​par cakes elsewhere. I believe I paid about $ 40 for a cake that feeds 16 easily in May. That is a great price for a specialty cake with wedding-​appropriate decorations. I am amazed every time. I highly recommend them for quality products and service. They have gone out of their way to find my original order when I could not find it myself. Superb!

Amazing Cakes! I just had a wedding and the cake was beautiful and just what I wanted. We got to pick different flavors for each layer and it was so tasty. The cake was so moist and the icing was creamy and delicious. I’ve been to other weddings and I don’t think anyone can beat her cakes. Thanks so much Patricia! I want to know your secret!

Patricia’s did our wedding cake for this past Saturday. I couldn’t recommend them more. Several people told us it’s the best cake they had ever had at a wedding. It looked exactly like the picture that was drawn up. Patricia still meets with all clients to design cake which was amazing. I would highly recommend Patricia’s.

Patricia’s makes a fantastic cheesecake! My family usually buys at least one a year for special events. The cheesecake is very dense and creamy so it might be too rich for some.

Very poor customer service which makes the cake nasty too!

We used Patricia’s Weddings & Custom Cakes for our wedding last year, June 2012. I can’t say ENOUGH great things! The cake was so incredibly delicious and it looked just how I pictured it. Her pricing was not outrageous like so many places are, and she was so incredibly sweet and kind. I can’t wait to get our anniversary cake! She has a cute little shop in Reading, and I have not tried a flavor that I didn’t love. I would recommend Patricia for ANY occasion.

Sunday of this past week marked my little brother’s high-​school graduation party.
My mom had heard great things about Patricia’s Weddings & Custom Cakes so she ordered a custom graduation cake from the little store in old Reading.
I was sent to pick up the cake on Saturday afternoon (Patricia’s isn’t open on Sundays but is open until 5pm on Saturdays) and was greeted by two very friendly employees. When I got there there were two couples looking through albums on wedding cake designs… cute! The bakery had a number of display cakes out too, they were gorgeous.
They brought out my brother’s cake and I was amazed. Patricia’s created a graduation cap out of cake and a tassle by using a straw and icing (pictures to come soon!). It was by far the cutest graduation cake I have ever seen. At $ 73, it was a bit expensive but it was worth it.
The next day when we cut into the cake, I was even more pleased. The cake was half chocolate and half white and was moist and delicious.
