Went here as a last resort and the guy sensed my desperation I’m sure. I found out I couldn’t get new glasses due to insurance not covering it until May so the cheap glasses I bought to hold me over needed to be repaired after my two year old toddler got to them. Just to swap out the two ear temples cost $ 35 plus tax! The glasses didn’t even cost that much! I’m so pissed right now and feel like my eyesight is being held hostage! I can not recommend this place to anyone. It was the closest and easiest place to get to with the timeframe I had and I am totally taking a loss. The repair literally took 5 – 10 minute for different color, mismatched replacements. This place is kind of a dump and everything looks crumby. Could be my mood but I doubt it.

I found this place on Unilocal (of course) and headed north to see if they had a magician who could put the pieces of my 10+ year-​old glasses back together! Sure enough, Dale replaced the bridge and I was out in less than 15 minutes.
The price was more than reasonable, the location convenient, and I got a demonstration of some really cool frames that bend without breaking… I plan to get them after my next eye exam.
There is nothing better than quality work and good service… thanks (again) Unilocalers!

Thank God for this place! Broke the arm of my Ray Bans, decided to come to precise eyeglass repair after sunglasses hut and LensCrafters were absolutely no help. They were able to solder them back together for 25 $ in 20 minutes! Wouldn’t go anywhere else

I was out with a friend when I sat on my OGA glasses breaking the filament that holds both lenses and bending the fame. These frames were one of the few that fit my enormous Scandinavian head and cost a ridiculous sum. I looked at them and could see little angle-​winged hundred dollar bills flying away to eyeglass heaven. My buddy said, «Take ‘em to Precise Eyeglass on Northland. He’ll fix those while you wait for a fair price.»
It cost me $ 10. Seriously. Ya, that’s pretty darn fair. It actually took about 20 minutes to do the repair so I went over to Lulu’s for a good lunch.
And, he’s a real nice guy. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and job done.

Dale Thompson’s Precise Eyeglass Frame Repair Company is awesome! The arm on my expensive eyeglasses inexplicably broke off, and after being turned away from Lenscrafters where I purchased the glasses two years previously, I contacted Precise Eyeglass repair. At an affordable cost (less than $ 25) he soldered the arm back on and it works like new. I waited about 10 minutes. Dale himself was friendly and was appreciative of the business. What else could I ask for?

Let’s just say you spent a lot of money on a pair of glasses. Then you accidentally broke them in a way that was not easily repaired. Furthermore, let us posit that you are unwilling to spend a lot of money again to replace them.
If this is you, then you should stop by Precise Eyeglass Repair. For less than $ 25, they can fix almost anything that has broken on your glasses. In my case, they were able to solder back on the tiny little nose pad arm that had broken off. And they did it in 15 minutes, while I waited! Awesome!
