Love the new lunch combos. Only 7.99 or 8.99. Soup and salad or salad and burger or cocoanut shrimp or chicken quesadilla or half ribeye sandwich or fish tacos. The usual steaks, ribs, salmon, mahi nahi and more are available. Always reliable. Love the free bloomin onion specials.

The easiest item on the menu the blooming onion was burnt. The food was mediocre at best. I’ve had much better at other outbacks so I think the issue is this location. Steaks were void of flavor but at least they were cooked as instructed. They used to have a Queensland chicken and shrimp and they would cook the chicken on the Barbie but now they just cook it on the grill and it was void of flavor. Overall this place needs some help with their food quality. Service was alright. Beware when it’s raining. The floors are coated with wax and are slippery. Especially the restroom tile!

It wasn’t that bad. The food came out perfect for all four of us that went. Our waiter was awesome and provided great service. Outback to me is supposed to be a simple steak house so I don’t expect 5 star quality, but this was close.

I have been here twice. Both times my food was not that good. The first time my steak was cooked well done when I ordered medium rare. This little girl next to me was served raw chicken. When I asked the waiter what was going on she blamed it on a new set of cooks. On the second visit the wait staff was much more professional, but my New York Strip came out tough and burned. The interior feels dated and dingy. The Hostess was more interested in twirling her hair and smacking her gum than seating is right away. I wouldn’t recommend this Outback to anyone.

Took 25 minutes of no service before I finally got the manager and then the waitress got everything wrong. My meal was cooked awfully, never going back

The only reason that this is not a negative review is because I wasn’t that hungry and that the staff addressed my issues. I went yesterday on Father’s day to take my dad to his favorite place which is Outback. His meal was perfect and he really enjoyed it which is another reason I wasn’t that ticked off or anything. My meal was a filet ordered med-rare. It was raw so I sent it back. They brought it back a few minutes later and had attempted to cook the same piece of meat again. Unfortunately this time it was cooked way past well done. They took it off my bill and offered a free dessert which I declined. It was very busy, but still Outback may need to retrain the grill cook. Good service, lousy food.

Maybe I had beginners luck? Tonight was my first night dining at this location. I felt things went smoothly. My husband and I arrived at 8pm, was seated immediately. Received our drinks and appetizer quickly. The bread was served quickly as well. Our dinner took a little time to arrive but honestly, it is to be expected(dining-in isn’t referred to as fast food). Everything was good, I felt my quesdilla could have used more chicken but it wasn’t a big deal. Prices were what I expected for eating at a «steakhouse». The menu wasn’t as expansive as I would have liked, a lot of the entrees were quite similar. Not too many choices but again, it’s a steakhouse. Our waiter(Nick) was friendly and understanding when I did not like the watermelon wagon, he offered a drink he said he was great at making, I tried it and I must say he didn’t lie because it was quite good. He only charged the $ 4.00 for the watermelon wagon instead of the $ 7.00 for the new drink. We left him a generous tip because everything went well. I’m not really sure why the reviews are bad, maybe it was just bad timing or whatever but things went well for my husband and I.

We went to Outback Steakhouse yesterday. They have found an all time low, I feel sad to say. The blooming onion was greasy. My steak was over cooked as was my sweet potato. My salad did not taste good. I must say the highlight of my meal was my water with lemon. Oh, we did have great service.

Not great. Took my fiancé here for his birthday and the food wasn’t that good. Service was lousy. The people sitting next to us were served raw chicken. Apparently the«amateur» chefs were cooking that night – at least that was their excuse.

Really disappointed tonight. Menu changed. Service spotty. Meal delivered short of side dishes. Not sure if I will return.

Definitely lived up to the two stars from other reviews! Lackluster food and everything sat for about ten minutes before coming out, as you could tell by the sundae picture. I must say, the poor server was put through the ringer by our group.

It’s not as bad as some people say; or else it wouldn’t be as packed as it usually is on Friday evenings. Sea food is not that great here, but hey, its a steak house. The cheaper steaks are hit or miss, but every time I’ve ordered the bone in ribeye or the new York strip(more expensive cuts) they have been excellent. PS– this restaurant is literally 3 minutes from our house; so we go there often just for convenience and living in Anderson Two, there aren’t that many good options around here.

I moved back to the Cincy area 15 years ago, and my former boyfriend worked at an Outback in Florida when it was good. My dad frequented this Outback when he lived here in town many times. I had a job for the last 10 years where it kind of lent itself to eating out a lot of meals. Outback was a restaurant that my boyfriend and I picked up food curbside from time to time, as it is almost the closest restaurant to us. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a huge selection of restaurants in the Anderson area compared to other parts of town. We always liked it, and had our favorites on the menu. Until the last 2 years. We really steered away from eating out the last 2 years due to dieting on and off, and trying to watch what we ate. I had noticed in the last few years that portions definitely seemed to be smaller and smaller for the price. I also noticed the quality seemed to be going downhill. But tonight was really bad, I was on the phone a total of 8 mins and 25 seconds from start of telling our order, until a gentleman, not the female that took our order came back on to tell me the price our order came to like I had requested from the girl that took our order. The only reason I got taken care of so quickly at curbside was because I was THEONLYCARTHERE. All other 5 curbside spots were empty at 7 pm. I requested the ribeye which I had a few times, and it used to be REALLY good, and it was tender, and the fat would melt in your mouth. I ordered the 12 oz as that was what was on the menu, and was informed, it didn’t come in two sizes now, it was only an 11 oz. Fine, I ordered the 11 oz, even though they had a new menu item of a ribeye on the bone. I ordered grilled asparagus, which was extra, and garlic mashed potatoes, and the good old chopped pecan and blue cheese chopped salad, which again they now have an «updated version» with cabbage and carrots, which I asked them to please leave off.(If it’s not broke, don’t fix it, in my opinion). Anyways, trying to shorten this. Ribeye was TERRIBLE, tough, overcooked and I ordered medium rare, what little fat was in it was inedible, and I had to spit it out. The grilled asparagus I paid $ 1 extra for was horrible. And they must have got lazy on mashing the garlic mashed potatoes because mine had a huge«unmashed potato lump» in my potatoes. The only thing that was good was the carrot cake, and even then I’ve learned you’ve got about a 1 in 10 chance of getting it on a night/time where it is a really fresh piece and is moist. A few weeks ago, I bought Kroger«manager special» ribeye steaks for $ 4.50 each, because it was the sell by date, and also bought a price reduced T-bone. Now, I don’t have that much experience cooking, but found a great recipe for marinade for steaks on the internet, and great step by step directions for how to «sear your steaks like Outback», and finish them up in the broiler in the oven. With our homemade meal, I had made steamed asparagus. Now, I’m no chef, but honestly, our meals total came to about $ 35 apiece at Outback, but our at home meal was FARBETTER than the meal tonight for a fraction of the price.

Our waiter was very good. The food was also very good. The service was a little slow but not too bad. The blooming onion and salad were excellent! The food came out nice and hot and the salad was crisp and fresh. Everything seemed to be clean that I saw. I did not visit the ladies room however.

GROSS food. Nonexistent management. The«service» here was almost comedically bad. My husband likes Outback(or rather, Outdated — seriously, can’t they bloomin’ give the façade a facelift already?), I am indifferent to it. However, I always have a good experience at the location on Buttermilk Pike in KY. So after moving to the ‘Burbs and too exhausted to cook on a Tuesday night, we decided to use a gift card we had to Outback in Anderson. Such a pathetic experience. While it hasn’t ruined me entirely from ever eating at an Outback again, I’ll definitely NEVER return to this location(the whole consumer’s market thing), and I’ll probably put up a fuss about going to one entirely. There are just too many other decent-to-great chains out there that are just as convenient and comparably priced. It was a Tuesday night and the place was dead, but with THREE bored-looking hostesses, snapping chewing gum and twirling their hair at the station. At first, my husband and I thought it was almost funny, and we exchanged amused glances when one of them finally decided to seat us. Then it got gross when the one hostess was playing with her dreadlocks the entire time it took her a seat us. She plopped menus in front of us and left without saying a single word. Our server was a hyper-energetic young guy, absolutely lacking any type of finesse but making up for it with his enthusiasm. I can appreciate that Outback is dingy, outdated and probably not the most happening place to have to be at on a weeknight. We got our uninspired and wilted salads quickly, I had to request the bread, which is fine. I wasn’t expecting too much. However, when I received my prime rib, it was burnt to where there were literally ashes on the plate(I had requested med-rare). It was crusted with black. I was nonplussed as to why the server would’ve even been okay with serving it. It was gross. As one of the more expensive items on the menu, I requested that the server replace it. He came back, and said that the kitchen had told him they only had well-done prime rib available. SOWHYINGOD’S NAMEDIDN’T THEBACKOFTHEHOUSEINFORMHIMOFTHISWHENHEPLACEDTHEORDER?! The prime rib was inedible. Our server offered to replace it with just a regular ribeye, and was trying to be gracious by saying he wouldn’t charge me the additional price. I bit back any sarcastic response. So as my husband FINISHED his meal, I guess the manager, a young female, brought out my ribeye. Her response was my favorite of the evening: she didn’t bother to apologize, but she just confirmed that she double checked the returned prime rib, that I hadn’t been lying, and wanted to let me know that she agreed that it was overdone. I bit back another sarcastic response. And dear Lord, the quality of Outback has really declined. The replacement steak managed to be rubbery and dry at the same time. After(1) paying full price for the entire tab,(2) waiting and eating in double the time since my husband was finished by the time I received my meal,(3) never being shown any type of professionalism or courtesy,(4) and getting to doublecheck for any type of stray hairs by the hair-twiddling hostesses, I am just so relieved that the Outback manager could confirm my honesty and integrity when it came to a sacrificial steak. At the end of the lengthy and disgusting meal, the server enthusiastically asked us to fill out a customer survey, with the promise of a free bloomin’ onion appetizer the next time we came back(suffice to say, I won’t be back). I filled out the survey, at the end of it, it asked if I would like a representative to contact me(I checked yes). Haven’t heard back from them, needless to say it seems like the mismanagement at the restaurant-level stems from indifference at the corporate level.

We did curb side take a way. Make sure that you check your meal as brown lettuce in the salads and no almonds. We have been frequent patrons over the past 10+ years but never again. Management was helpful but each time over the past few months the quality has been awful.

Came with my family around 4 for my birthday dinner. We were seated immediately and received drinks quickly. I was really pleased with the bacon and cheese fries as an appetizer. I enjoyed a lovely fresh house salad, and the perfect signature bowl of potato soup with cheese bacon and green onions. My boyfriends 6oz outback special was cooked to a perfect medium rare and his fries well seasoned. The rest of my siblings and parents expressed their pleasure with their meals as well. Our waitress was friendly and we did not feel rushed at all.

Oh, give me a break. It’s fine. At least, at 4:30 pm on A Saturday. The fruity Sangria concoction was sweet and fun. The lemonade was kinda flat in flavor no surprise, so I squeezed some lemon wedges in it and that zipped it up. Delicious. Things were slow there, probably the only reason I was willing to go, so I asked for extras like the wedges and other stuff and the waitress accommodated it all. She was very nice, and earned her 21 percent tip. The asparagus seemed wood-fired — a nice touch. Both the asparagus and very thin, perfect green beans were firm, not overcooked at all, and great. I get the impression chains have problems getting salting right… The green beans had none, the asparagus had parmesan„ I think, which was good, and the patio soup, which I added extra cheeses to had to way much. Maybe that last one is my fault… The juices from the steak that accumulated on the plate were much saltier than expected. Not so great. The steak itself seemed a bit plain. The ‘butter’ I added strangely didn’t help the flavor. I guess it wasn’t butter… Even the sweet potato, which I think was supposed to have brown sugar, had very little. I think one answer to these chains flavoring issues is to ask for extras stuff on the side and gussy it up yourself. Real butter, lemon wedges, cheese, extra parmesan, maybe even steak seasoning are all fair game to ask for on the side to make dishes taste better. A simple fix. Music volume level was FINE. However I’ve been on there before when the place is packed(a few years ago), and the music was really loud… Which made conversation not pleasant. I don’t like raising my voice to be HEARD! We got the strip Medium Well. Not my choice. It was acceptable. It is what it is. Filling. No problems!
