Jimmy John’s

As my office is very nearby, I frequently (~ once a week) stop in here and grab lunch to take back to work with me.
Last week, I came in and got my usual (the #14 Bootlegger). However, when I got back to my office, I unwrapped the most ridiculous food item that’s ever been served to me.
The young African-​American woman who prepared the sandwich for me had doused the sandwich so heavily in oil, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I don’t just mean the inside of the sandwich – I’m talking about the outside as well. The inside of the wrapper was full of oil puddles which leaked out all over my desk immediately.
After the first bite, I was so sickened by it that I had to throw it away, and immediately filed a complaint online through the Jimmy John’s website, which always get funneled to the proper store.
When I was able to reach the store manager, John, several days later, I explained the incident and assumed it wouldn’t be a problem to get a refund or replacement, as is standard with any other food establishment. However, John refused not only to refund my money for the sandwich, but also refused to even replace the sandwich for me. I explained to him that I was giving him an opportunity to retain me as the very regular customer that I am, and he sternly refused to make the incident right in any way, and essentially told me «sorry about your luck».
Because of this giant middle finger I received from this establishment, I will certainly never be back to this Jimmy John’s or any other, for that matter. Unless you’re into gambling on the quality of your lunch, I would advise all to go to Jersey Mike’s instead, where the ingredients are, frankly, better, and they care far more about their customers’ satisfaction.

Love their unwhiches!!! I’m on a low carb diet so I’ve been having their turkey unwhiches with added bacon/​cheese/​peppers. So delicious and relatively healthy. It’s a bit pricey though (~$ 7). Conveniently located. There’s never anyone eating in there, probably because they deliver and it’s great for take out.

Literally mess up my order EVERY time. It’s not even a complicated order. Always ask for no mayo. One time I got it delivered and then drove back to the restaurant since there was mayo on it. One of the workers SCRAPED off the mayo and handed it back to me. The workers are usually rude and sarcastic as well.

It’s Jimmy Johns. They give you exactly what you expect every time.

Amazingly fresh and delicious sandwiches at a crazy reasonable price. The bread is baked daily on site and you can get in and out quickly. You can choose from a number of sandwiches on the board of make it «slim» which means no sauces and no veggies.

My favorite Jimmy Johns in Cincinnati. Fast friendly service and everything is always made perfectly.
Great sandwiches. Great bread. Great meat. Great ingredients.
Cheap and quick!

I don’t really know how someone can have a concious DISLIKE for Jimmy John’s. Come on-​even if they don’t get everything exactly right every time, your food is being handed to you probably no more than two seconds after you finish your order. To be honest, I think they’ve only ever gotten my order exactly correct twice out of the several times I’ve been there, but I really don’t mind, because the employees are nice and so darn FAST that it’s hard not to go in there and smile. As for the food itself-it’s pretty darn good. The bread is strangely delicious, and the Turkey Tom is always a winner for me. Overall, Jimmy John’s just can’t let me down, even if they aren’t perfect. The place at least cheers me up a little bit.

Oh Jimmy Johns. You are fast. You are cheap. You are delicious. I was heartbroken to lose the one downtown, so we try to make a stop here whenever we are in the kenwood area and in need of a quick lunch. I don’t know what makes their sandwiches SO MUCH more delicious but it just is. EVerything is just so fresh. And gotta love those crunchy salt and vinegar chips!

Lighting fast… ⁴⁄₅ subs are 4 star… ¹⁄₅ have brown, rotten lettuce (based on the 20 or so times I have been there). Great service. Parking around lunch is a mess.

Like Subway except with actual food that tastes good. Seriously, they have excellent variety, ease of ordering, top-​quality ingredients and reasonable prices. I especially enjoy the tuna salad and medium-​rare roast beef. Well, not on the same sandwich. But you get my drift. Service at the Kenwood location is quick and courteous. The parking lot can get a little crazy at lunchtime.
