Great Steak

Not been in Cincinnati in long time so trying things I don’t remember, mistake this time. Tried the basic steak sandwich combination with fries.
Taste — Although fresh this was just a step above frozen microwave sandwiches that I have had before.
Value– For the money better alternatives have been found Penn Station, or Richards Steak Sandwiches.
Was served a fountain drink that was ¾″ + from being full and the serving of fries was small in comparison to other establishments.

As I entered the Northgate Mall, the food court was just there. Several options were available but most weren’t appealing to me.
As I’d not had a cheese steak back in July 2012 in Philly, I was in dire need of one. The Great Steak & Potato Company promises to garnish your cheese steak with unnecessary extras, most of which lead to what is called a Cheesesteak Hoagie in Philadelphia.
I asked for a cheesesteak and Rhonda (according to the receipt) asked if I wanted onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise and I replied «not really – I want a cheesesteak!» :-D I explained that I wanted meat, cheese, fried onions, and a roll and she asked again if I wanted lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise. Eventually, we got to a mutual agreement.
When they finished with it, it tasted as good as any from the same company. They have tasty meat and cheese and it reminded me of home.
