Bad treatment from owner, cupcakes dry. I won’t go back. Too many good bakeries around town. Baked in the mornings some decorated some frozen for next day or weddings. Not baked fresh daily. Most not from scratch either, they are cupcakes anyone can make them. I think this place needs improvement. Staff looks unhappy

I could list all the cupcakes I’ve eaten — how long do you have? Most recently, I tried a butterscotch bacon and a red velvet. I’ve never had a bad one. They’re all divine. I’d just like to see a little more cupcake and a little less frosting. But did you know Gigi’s makes pecan and pumpkin pies for the holidays? I’ve only had the beautifully decorated pumpkin, but it’s wonderful, and less sweet than most I’ve had — whch, for me, is a good thing.

Love Gigi’s. Of all of the cupcake options in Cincinnati(and even further) this one is our favorite. At GiGi’s it is all about the frosting — which is a good thing. They use copious amounts compared to others. Inventive flavors and overall very consistent service and cupcake quality. Also, love the rewards program.

The cupcakes here are just okay. I find them to be very dry and way too much frosting. The flavors are fun and it’s nice that they switch it up. The best thing I like about Gigi’s are the mini boxes. I do pick these up for holiday get togethers because it’s easy and I feel like the ratio of frosting to cupcake is much better, plus the mini’s don’t seem as dry!

topped here for the first time. I was happy with the product. Like most cupcake places I think they put waaaay too much frosting on their cupcakes. I actually scraped a good amount off of the two I got. I tried the White Midnight Magic Chocolate Cupcake and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcake. The Midnight one was good with moist, tender cake, but too much frosting. The Cookie dough one… OMG! I fell in love! The frosting wasn’t overpowering either. The amount of frosting wasn’t as cloyingly sweet as the other one probably because the slight saltiness in it just like a good chocolate chip cookie. I will definitely go back, but I will still need to scrape most of the frosting off unless it’s the cookie dough cupcake.

I’d heard so much about the cupcakes and was excited to try them. The cases are completely open on the side of the employees, and imagine my disappointment as I watched 2 – 3 gnats flying around inside of the cases, and landing on the cupcakes. It’s that time of year, I get it, but nobody wants to eat a cupcake that has been sampled by gnats first-please make adjustments to the cases to keep the gnats out, so that this doesn’t happen!

The cupcakes are delicious, a bit pricey but amazing and so worth it! They taste delicious! My favorite thing was the fact that they had mini cupcakes packaged in 4, they were a perfect treat!

I can come in at 5 pm on a Monday, and selection is still good. I personally find that to be a huge problem of any bakery — running out & not baking more. The cookie dough cupcake LITERALLY tasted like cookie dough. It was amazing, and the cupcakes were still moist and delicious. I do find both of their chocolate cupcakes to be too chocolatey, and it was hard to eat all of. But customer service was amazing and overall I believe they are a decent bakery.

After dinner at a nearby restaurant, my friends and I saw the lights on at Gigi’s. We were excited to see they were open so late and hurried over to grab some cupcakes. I’d never been to Gigi’s but nevertheless, excited to get dessert! Unfortunately, as we walked over, the lights were turned off and the employees were packing up their van. We dejectedly turned around to walk back to our cars when one of the women stopped us, apologized for being closed and handed each of us a set of 4 mini-cupcakes! Needless to say, we were quite excited! The cupcakes were absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to head back to sample their other offerings!

We stopped by after doing a little shopping. We were craving something sweet, and a cupcake just sounded good. I had the princess and my son the cookie dough chocolate chip. The girl at the counter was very nice, they made my son a cupcake without the chocolate chips since he doesn’t like chocolate chips. Very friendly, and the cupcakes were delicious. I’m not a fan of icing and thought it would be too sweet, but surprisingly it was good. Not too sweet and the cupcake had tiny bits if strawberry. It definitely hit the spot. If you have a sweet tooth give it a try, the cupcakes are good and you get a nice size for the price.

My daughters have been bingeing on a marathon of Cupcake Wars episodes. They’re both eager to open a bakery some day. I thought it might be fun to indulge them at a cupcake storefront, so I randomly picked Gigi’s because it was nearby. The walls are decorated with large high quality photographs of a girl baking cupcakes with a mom. The display features a variety of cupcakes, all with creative names and decorations. We picked six flavors for us to share. When a storefront specializes in one type of dessert, I will assume that they’ve mastered their craft. What about the details? Is the staff friendly? Sadly, the cashier did not seem entertained or delighted by having prospective young bakers enjoying the selection of treats. I would have felt more welcome at a Starbucks. This is a small detail, but I was disappointed that there weren’t knives for splitting the cupcakes. I was forced to use a fork, which was quite a crumbly mess. We asked for tap water and the cashier mumbled something about tiny cups and seemed annoyed at the question. The adults settled for a cup of barely warm coffee, and the kids split a bottle of vitamin water. We didn’t even bother to ask again for those tiny cups that seemed to be so much trouble. The cupcakes are beautiful and creative, but they’re completely impractical. The icing is piled so high on almost all the flavors that it dominates the tiny cake underneath. I personally don’t know anyone who can eat that much icing without feeling sick. If you want less icing, you are forced to choose a generic chocolate cupcake. The kids enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate cupcake, and the parents preferred the apple spice cupcake. Overall, we felt poisoned from the sweetness and cheated by the $ 3+ price tags(which are admittedly standard prices). If we were to return, we’d give the mini-cupcakes a try. But we probably won’t return. This is a place for the residents of Indian Hills, the type of people who don’t mind spending excessively on a pretty mountain of frosting. Next time I’m craving cupcakes, I will have my future bakers treat the family to their own creations. I’m sure it will be more rewarding than a trip to Gigi’s.

Got one cupcake one cheese cake both where delishous. The workers where helpful and there was no one else in the store. Only complaint is it would have been nice to have water cooler or fountain.

Gigi’s Cupcakes are adored by many, but for some reason, I am not quite the biggest fan of their cupcakes. I’ve come into this location about 3 – 4 times because my boyfriend loves them, but something just doesn’t hit the spot for me. The icing is always way too rich for me and half the time I’ve had them, they’ve been a little dry. However, I did highly enjoy their cookie icing sandwiches. the snickerdoodle was awesome and is even better with a nice, cold glass of milk. Mmmmm. The service is great and everyone is always cheerful and welcoming there, so that is always a plus. and if you check-in, you get a free cupcake! No complaints there.

Mixed feelings. Veni, vidi, vici and not impressed. Seems like it is ‘in fashion’ these days to buy overpriced sweets in cute cupcakeries. The cupcakes looks really cute, indeed, but they are much overpriced and much too sweet. For me it is just ton of sugar with some artificial colouring. Do not like the texture of the cream on top(enourmous amount, btw). The cake bottom tastes like from a Betty Crocker package. I do not get this hype. Sorry.

YUMYUMYUM! I won 6 free cupcakes from a Facebook contest. My GPS took me to the wrong place, called the store for directions and a very nice girl answered and helped me find my way. Cupcakes are delicious and the icing is to die for! Can’t wait to go back! Also, check in on Unilocal for a free cupcake!

I went on a Saturday morning and it was empty. The Red Velvet cupcake was pretty good and same for the other cupcakes I got. Overall, this is a good place for interesting cupcakes.

I was being lazy but needed to bring dessert to a small get-together. Went to Gigi’s for the first time. They open til 8 on Saturdays. At 6 they still had a great selection. They are $ 3.25 each.(I noticed a fall box special for $ 10.99 but you don’t get to pick. Still is a good deal though.) we got a nice assortment. They were beautiful and delicious. I ate the red velvet cupcake which was divine :0). Not overly sweet frosting and very fluffy/light! As a bonus, when I checked in on Unilocal I got a coupon for a future cupcake!

The most disgusting cupcake ever! They were hard and the taste is awful. Duncan Hines and Pillsbury can do better. The mound of icing is ridiculous and the taste is not worth the calories. I will Stick with Abby Girl Sweets!
