Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurants

VANILLA COKE… That alone warrants at least 4 stars. There is just something about fountain pop with even more sugar added in and crunchy little chunks of ice. OMG. I would walk barefooted down 275 to pick up a vanilla coke… in most types of weather. and I hate winter. Just sayin…
If you aren’t from the area, then this is a heads up for you. Our burgers at Frisch’s are not the norm. they are pancake thin, and have a ton of shredded lettuce and tarter sauce mixed together. WHAT?! Tarter sauce on a burger? Blasphemy! you say? Oh no my friend. taste it and then be the judge. it works.
If you go inside you can order off the menu or get the ever tasty salad bar. or breakfast bar in the morning. I personally am in love with their ranch dressing too. I could eat it as a meal by itself. NOM NOM NOM… weird? yeah ok. I should probably get fries to at least dip in this delectable ranch dressing.
Also, the salad bar is really just that. soups and salads. don’t go expecting a dinner buffet. If Vanilla Coke isn’t your thing, they also have chocolate coke… it tastes like a liquid tootsie roll. interesting. All in all you really can’t lose with Frisch’s. :)

WHAT do they put in that special sauce? Haha it definitely is a delicious burger. I think the sauce is just tartar sauce but then again I’m not from around here so everything we dont’ have back home that we have here is going to be surprising to me.
I’m glad my friends brought me here as I’d heard so much about this place from Travel and Food networks. I was delightfully satisfied with my burger and fries. I like that they have a sald bar too. I didn’t know they offered that until I got there. YUM.
Our server was very sweet and the cashier was also very nice. I can’t wait to try more off of the menu.
