What can I say the best place for burgers in the Nati. The Collosal is the most amazing messy burger. The patio is awesome just great place to enjoy a beer and a burger.

Growler refills are way too high! Bought a growler at my first visit and the server charged me $ 25 which included the growler. Told the refills ranged between $ 4 – 10. Went back to refill and the charge was $ 22. They didn’t seem to care what my last server told me so I left. Went to Tap House in Montgomery and they filled my growler for $ 6 less. My suggestion don’t believe the servers!

As the VEGAN Mom of 5 adults who wanted to eat here, I tried to have an open mind thinking there surely there would be something healthy(NO meat, NO cheese or dairy, NO oil) that I could eat here. WRONG! Not Even the black bean burger, unless I took off the cheese & didn’t eat the tortilla strips(for $ 9.99). The best choice of salads would be plain lettuce & tomatoes, sad. So, the 4 carnivores that don’t care about clogged arteries, calories, diabetes, or cancer risks because they are still young and under the spell of the meat & dairy industry ads did like their burgers. Us 2 intelligent vegans tried a blackbean burger(OK) with no cheese, and some mushrooms(not very good). The black bean burger looked & tasted just like Costco ones do, which is OK but unexpected. As the payer of the bill, I will not be bringing us back here when there are plenty of other places that serve both burgers & beers, and options for vegans. Besides, I thought the prices were high. We could have gone to nearby Pizzeli and got great healthy salads cheaper, and tasty, healthy pizza choices are available there too, for much better prices! Our server was an annoying young guy with a flippant attitude who thought he was funny, NOT! He also liked to butt into our private conversations, especially near the end of the meal when I was trying to have a family talk about an upcoming event! He did provide good service otherwise, so we gave him a generous tip of 22%.

Food was really good. accommodated a large group really easily. Only four stars because ridiculous to charge $ 1.00 for salt on a margarita. Silly and resulted in group leaving a bit annoyed rather than completely satisfied. Manager shoukd reconsider

Okay, let me start by saying we went here to get Burgers, after all it is in the name. So, let’s get right to it — the Burgers. Yes, I know Beers is also in the title, but we are not really into the variety of craft beers so I will leave that to another reviewer. We got the Gaucho Burger and the Swiss Bliss Burger. One with fries and one with onion rings. The burgers are a blend of several meats. The toppings were excellent. Ordered them medium — they came out perfect. One word to describe the burgers — OMG. We have tried burgers all over the greater Cincinnati area. These have zoomed to the top of the list — best burger we have had in town. They were delicious. Fries and onion rings were also very good. You can also custom maker your burger toppings. They have a big list to pick from, some of the basics and some more adventuresome. In terms of the other attributes. Server was very good. Explained the menu, since this was our first time, and provided good service. Décor — building interior design was very friendly and very nice. If you like a great burger, than you need to give them a try.

I’m disappointed with Flip Daddy’s. Their beer prices have become quite high /over priced. For example — a pint of Guinness costs $ 6.50 regularly or $ 4.50 at Happy Hour. It’s impossible to find a true craft beer under $ 4 during Happy Hour. It seems like the focus now is on profit

Every time it is a new experience, the burger of the month was amazing the meatloaf burger with mashed taters onion straws and a BBQ gravy topping. Once again the fish tacos represented and the collosal burger was more then a teenage boy could handle. Always a good place to choose a burger, the hard part is which one to choose.

3.5 stars. We went on a Saturday night, fairly busy and waited 20 min which is expected when you have a full restaurant. Awesome taps! I had the 471. Lots of flavor and they have something for everyone for beer.(If you like beer that is). Great cocktail menu too! Little pricey but what can ya say, they use the good stuff. Service was alright and food was okay. I substituted my side for a salad(I know. Why not the fries with a burger but I was feeling somewhat healthy for some reason) The baby daddy side salad or whatever it’s called is super bland and the croutons were soggy. And it came out way before my burger so I didn’t have a side with my burger. Not a huge deal but found it weird. All in all, food is decent and I’ll probably go back for the beer.

I give this place a 3 star just because I feel like the prices is a bit high for what you get. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s delicious but the last few times I have are there the service has been spotty and the food was quickly put together. I will definitely go back but I just hope the negative mindset that I have will turn back into a positive.

If you want a thick, juicy burger this is the place for you! I tried it the first time because I had just gotten my nails done at the salon next door. There is a good sized bar with several TVs, but there are also plenty of tables. There is a free parking lot right out front. I have never had to wait when I went, even on the weekends. The staff was all very friendly and I like their options. I like your typical American burger, so I just get the Flipdaddy–«quintessential, classic American burger served with lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle. A little retro, but always cool and always delicious, can add cheese.» The burgers all come with delicious fries, that have a great seasoning on them. I did not ask what the seasoning is, but I like that it’s not just salt. I also upgraded the second time I went and paid the $ 2 for onion rings. Wow do they give you a lot of huge, crispy onion rings and with a side of sauce– PERFECT! I like that they have a range of salad options on the menu as well. Maybe I will go and try a salad, but I have only gone a couple of times and both times the intent was to get a burger.

Will definitely be back! Always been curious especially since it’s close to our future home. It was delicious and the burger was HUGE! It’s a chain but they’re doing something right! Hubbers got the burger with the fried egg on it and I got the French one with tons of cheese on it. It’s a little expensive but I think it’s justified by the size of the burgers. They are monstrous. Fries were delicious and crisp. Want to try their turkey burger next time!

We go in this place several times a month and then we forget about it for awhile. We were here last week and the acoustic guitar player was so good — we went back tonight. I may be dreaming about the onion rings and stuffed mushrooms tonight. Yummy… Not to mention that they have Coke products! I have ordered salads which are good but I highly recommend the burgers if you want to experience Flip Daddy’s at their best. It IS A burger joint. And the TV’s are in good spots if you need to keep an eye on the score of your favorite teams/sports. Our waiter liked hockey and skiing but the bike trail is near and so is a golf course. You can find a sand volleyball place and a running shoe store almost like the old Bob Roncker’s. Have… an onion ring and go jogging/biking. It’s healthy, right?

I have become one of those people with less-than-favorable outlooks on Flipdaddy’s. And it is sad. My last review was years ago. We loved this place, we lived down the street. Hell, we had our wedding rehearsal here, my husband’s bachelor party, and more. We loved this place. We moved away and each time we came in town, we would get excited for Flipdaddy’s. A bit ago, we started noticing a slow decline. Meat quality not as good, prices going up, things changing. To start the buns are never as fresh as they once were. That was sad part one. Then they changed the pretzels and beer cheese — you get less cheese(from a giant cup to a fairly small one) and the type of pretzels they used. They are no longer the delectable things they once were. They are forgettable now. The burger prices went up, but I can’t say the taste did too. It is always fattier now and I have found bits of unrendered fat as well as a more uneven cook than ever before on the burgers. It’s not the best place anymore. We haven’t wanted to come back since the last time(earlier this year, I’m slow at writing these reviews these days), and unfortunately, what once was in our top list of restaurants ever, has slid down over the years.

I’m not sure how I feel about Flipdaddy’s. Our service was good, but the food and ambiance was kind of meh. I came here with a large group, and we sat outside, which was great cause it was beautiful outside. I like that they’re big group friendly and that they have an outdoor patio. Our server immediately took our drink orders(nice, fast service!). Their beer list is pretty extensive, and since my fiancé ordered the craft beer of the month, he got to put his name in to win a stainless steel cooler. Pretty cool! I like that they do fun promotional items like that, and it definitely worked on us because he ordered three of those beers. haha Now the food… The menu threw me off because it’s kind of confusing to read, and the layout and stock photography makes it feel like I’m in a Red Robin or something… It feels like a chain to me. Almost everyone in our group got a burger(because most of their menu is burgers). I got the Jive Turkey burger, and my fiancé got the buffalo chicken wings. My burger was ok… It tasted all right, but nothing too memorable. It also came out kind of luke warm. The beef burgers were better. The chicken wings were really tasty, and my fiancé said he would definitely be back for those wings! The fries were the thin crispy ones, and they were really good. The décor was kind of boring in my opinion, and to me it felt like a chain sports bar, even though I know it’s local. I don’t know, I guess it felt over-developed or something. I would probably come back though because I liked the patio, the beer selection, and the service. Overall, not too bad!

Flip Daddy’s is an excellent choice if you are hungry for a great burger or thirsty for a great beer. Their rotating taps are great because as you continue to go the beers are constantly changing. If you like a little kick to your burger, my absolute favorite is the Chuck Norris. A nice touch to any one of the burgers is the pretzel bun. Just ask to get yours in one even if it isn’t listed on the menu. Their waiters, waitresses, and bartenders are all super nice people and truly make you feel welcomed. I love this place and will continue to visit.

Great burgers! One of the BEST places in town for a good burger, but also good salads and sandwiches. I can highly recommend the wedge salad and the outstanding sweet potato fries. I saw a comment stating«bland». Obviously they did not try the«Chuck Norris» or the«Rise and Shine», two of my favorites! As an aside, a prominent local magazine recently reviewed the best burgers around Cincinnati. Flipdaddy’s was not on the list which I found to be a glaring omission. Maybe a blind tasting would be in order. Anyway, check it out and decide for yourself.

Burgers and Beer are big business these days. Almost everywhere you look there is some place touting Burgers and craft beers. This place reminds of Red Robin, but SUBSTANTIALLY better burgers and beer selection. Asked for my burger(mac daddy) medium, came perfectly medium. Onion rings are like anchor chains. Fries did what fries are supposed to do, compliment the burgers. Check this place out.

This place is alright. Its a basic bar and grill. T.V.s everywhere. Good alcohol selection and friendly staff. The most enjoyable part of my several visits has been the interactions with the staff. The food: The burgers are very bland and I’m pretty sure not seasoned. I mean, really, why make a burger if you’re not going to have any flavor to it! The only one worth a darn is the Mac Daddy and thats because the mac n cheese is pretty good so it actually flavors the burger some. I do like most of the appetizers. The food altogether is nothing to write home about. Maybe I’m just really picky about the burgers because I’m such a burger fan but once I get a burger and it consistently has no flavor, I’m out.

We just went here with a group of 7. It was just a great experience all the way around! Service was friendly and fast. All of our food was out within 12 minutes. I got the chuck Norris burger with the amazing grilled mac n cheese. The burger was pretty good. With jalapeños and some yummy sauce. The Mac and cheese was to die for. I love this place!

This review is on behalf of Bloody America: The owner of Flipdaddy’s was in a search of the best burgers and best beers, hence Flipdaddy’s was born. They make no exception with their Guinness Bloody Mary… made with absolute peppar vodka, homemade mix, and just enough Guinness to get you through the day splashed on top! Absolutely DELISH! The only thing that would make this Bloody better would be to put a burger on it!

Flipdaddy’s is along the lines of something like«REDROBIN» only a bit more expensive, so I honestly don’t know if the average food and service is worth the above average pricing… First, I was not impressed by the appetizer we tried. It was the FLIPCHIPS which are bascially crispy saratogo chips topped with melted cheddar, BBQ and bacon. For $ 6.99 I expected to get A LOT more, and to be honest only the top layer of chips had cheese, BBQ and a small amount of bacon. I got the Blackened Bayou Burger with the grilled mac and cheese. It was a pretty good portion and tasted pretty good, but again, I really don’t think it was worth the whopping $ 12+! I liked the fact that my burger had a nice brioche bun, but I did not like the fact that it was soaked with burger juices and was quite soggy by the time I ate the burger! Not, sure if this was because my burger was sitting around for awhile before served, or because they need to get thicker bun that will stand up to all the juices. Our service was average-good, with our server being pretty attentive. My guess is that it would have been VERYGOOD service if it wasn’t so busy. Flipdaddy’s was along the lines of something like«REDROBIN» only a bit more expensive, so I honestly don’t know if the average food and service is worth the above average pricing…
