I had a great shopping experience here recently that I wanted to share. Andrew met me when I walked in and gave me the run-​down of their deals. This was helpful as I wasn’t looking for anything in particular. I know some people don’t like to be approached as soon as walking into a store and I saw this but Andrew kept positive. She swung by several times as I was loading up clothes on my arms. She had my changing room ready for me with all my clothes. She checked up on me periodically as I tried on all my clothes. This may not seem like a lot but it was. I went to H&M shortly after finishing my trip at Express and the experience was night and day!

I only come here when I receive coupons. They have a great selections of jeans, blouses, work clothing, and clearance section.
I know that when it comes to camisoles or tanktops that I would go somewhere else. It’s alittle pricey along with the accessories. Other than that, staff is attentative and friendly. Quality of clothing is definately what you pay for.

I’m one of those crazy people who go shopping on Black Friday. In my defense, Express had an unbelievable sale. 40% off the entire store, plus coupons. This resulted in a very long line in the store. I waited in line for approximately 50 minutes. This store was definitely prepared for the line. They had placed tape on the floor indicating where the line should go and there were employees stationed throughout the line making sure no one cut. Towards the end of the line, two employees removed security sensors and hangers so the checkout was as quick as possible. One female employee was stationed at the end of the checkout to make sure there was a clear exit. She was incredibly friendly and smiling the entire time. As each customer left the checkout she congratulated them on their accomplishment and yelled «you survived!» I have never seen any store put so much thought into their Black Friday strategy or have such friendly employees working on that day.

While I generally shy away from buying clothes at mainstream stores, I actually really like Express. Their clothes run a little tight and thin, so they tend to fit me well (I should probably take that as a message to hit the weight room more regularly). The colors are bold but not absurd. The stylings are sleek and subdued, so I can comfortably wear anything here anywhere (except, say, a nudist colony). Every once in awhile they’ll try something a little more edgy (like the tight-​legged powder blue old man pants I have). It usually flops, so you can find it on clearance a few months later. As I did.
Very importantly, the prices are reasonable. Not incredibly cheap, but at least I’m not paying an arm and a leg to gird my arms and legs. Cheap, alas, is an adjective applicable to the durability of this clothing. I’ve had a few shirts and shorts tear from less-​than-​violent accidents.
